Marriage Matters

We spend 12 years of our childhood learning how to read, write, play with others, socialize, walk on the right side of the hall, follow directions, respect authority and keep the rules. We then spend four years of early adulthood in a collegiate setting learning more skills, techniques, the ins and outs, and how to access resources to get a job done. THEN Some of us even go so far as to spend ANOTHER 2-5 years specializing in an area of interest that demands yet more training, preparation, hands on involvement, reading, testing, writing, research and involvement. At the end of it we are very skilled professionals-Counselors, Vets, Lawyers, Doctors, Teachers, Mangers and Entrepreneurs... But when do we put in the time, the hours, the reading, the research, the studying, the prep for that vocation which we have committed or lives to with an oath to God? Unfortunately, the study of and preparation for marriage matters often goes neglected... leaving a trail of successful professionals in struggling or broken marriages. This program is dedicated to objectively contribute to the conversation of marriage for folks thinking about that beautiful, blessed, unique, sometimes challenging, always changing, institution of marriage. Marriage matters to you, to me, to God-the One we are ultimately responsible to. So lets tackle those marriage matters- together.
