-We often are in a state of disrepair when we find ourselves coming in relationship with Christ and because GOD is so awesome, he binds up our wounds and makes us NEW. After GOD has made us new there is still some regular maintainence required from us to protect GOD's workmanship such as fellowship, reading of the word, and prayer/fasting. This message is an introduction and not a finite list of ways to regularly maintain GOD workmanship, but get you to thinking about other ways to regularly maintain your temple of GOD dwelling. How Can You Sleep When Souls Are Dying?

I am reminded of the story of Jonah when he attempted to flee from GOD and he laid sleeping on the ship while a storm was taking place in the lives of many. As in Jonah 1:6, The captain went to him and said, “How can you sleep? Get up and call on your god! Maybe he will take notice of us so that we will not perish.”
Jonah unconcerned because he thought he could escape GOD, slept thinking it would keep him from accomplishing GOD will for awhile, but GOD was already still working. Jonah probably thought, "I know you, and I'm comfortable with my relationship with you, why must I go minister to those people(Ninevah). Like many of us, Jonah knew he couldnt run from a GOD who sits high and look low, but he tried. In our attempt to run, GOD will put us through things that will shake us up, until we get the message that his will is better for us.
People of GOD it is time to stop sleeping when we live in a dying world. If God gave you a gift or has called you into the ministry, it's time to sow the seeds and bring forth fruit. We have some work to do in order to win souls and draw the unbeliever/ fallen believer to Christ so that they too can inherit everlasting life.
