I think the most important place to start is with the “Why” – what is your Purpose as a Leader and as a Company. As a leader, the first place to start is with yourself. If you cannot lead yourself then how can you lead others? The first thing to know about a leader is their passion and the values that led them to put importance on those passions.
In this episode we speak with William Dolan, President and Creative Director of Spirit Media, a creative marketing agency based in Portland, Oregon. As an Emmy-nominated Producer and Director, William has been a part of producing live events for 500 to 250,000 people, directed national and international TV broadcasts for millions, and has acted as creative consultant for hundreds of organizations, from emerging small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. His extensive background in media and entertainment led him to collaborating with or directing many noted celebrities including Gwen Stefani, The Black Eyed Peas, Maroon 5, Kenny Chesney, President Bill Clinton, Alec Baldwin and hundreds more in the fields of business, sports, ministry, entertainment and politics.
In 1999, William had a near-death experience that dramatically challenged his view of life, his career path, and the fields of communication and marketing. Years of research and application led him to the discovery of The 7 Disciplines of Relationship Marketing (the 7DRM System). Today, William shares the 7DRM System through online and live workshops, individual coaching and through the marketing services offered through his creative agency, Spirit Media. William has also shared his insights as a keynote or workshop leader for the National Association of Broadcasters, The National Christian Leadership Alliance, the American Marketing Association and various universities and business groups around the United States. William has been married to his high-school sweetheart, Camilla, for over 30 years. They have five incredible adult children and two grandchildren. Their family also includes several grand pets including his writing companion, Marcella, his attention-starved tabby cat. He shares that greatness in sales requires you to think with your heart and that: Human beings make decisions with their hearts more than they do with their minds. Also until YOU, the sales person, can grasp and understand the power of your own emotions...over the impact you can have intellectually...you'll be nothing more than average.
We talk about the art of sales, success, failure, selling the right way in difficult times, asking the right questions, legacy, and technology. He also gives us a bonus performance with his voice, truly a God-given talent towards the end of the episode. A MUST listen.
This episode is supported by Richard Moore, where he shares with us his profound insights on sales, marketing, relationships, business and leadership.
When you think about sales, we are always looking for new ideas, we need a constant flow of motivation, especially with how fast every thing seems to happen, we need immediate answers. And yes, we expect to make more sales. We know that sales is a skill and also it’s what you do beyond selling that makes a difference in closing a deal. Laying the foundation of successful work ethic and business strategy.
This special quote from our special guest is so true. “Grow when its possible not when its comfortable.” - Richard Moore
Sharing his story: Richard Moore originally worked 60 hour weeks in the City of London, before deciding to build his own businesses and help others do the same. After building companies from the trenches up, by taking ownership of sales teams, coaching leadership roles and consulting with multi-hundred million pound organisations, Richard created his own company to help others get massive traction as they launched their businesses. As he did this, Richard invested in many of the companies he helped to create and shared with the world his views on business, through the weekly live Q&As he runs online, to speaking gigs in front of business owners in his space and his weekly blog. Richard also created products such as the Monetize You course, the Basics of Sales course and direct mentoring of established businesses, using his 16+ years of experience in the space.
Now, Richard has brought to life the Entrepreneur Business Live events series. Operating across the globe, in London, New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Melbourne, Barcelona and many more, “EBLive” has been rewriting the way networking events are built and are able to “do good”. By creating a community first and then providing them with world class speakers, a networking space and making donations to approved Charity Partners, impact is being felt not just by those that attend but also those less able; served by charities.
Richard has been featured in Forbes, The Huffington Post, Inc, Thrive, and Influencive.

In this episode, we talk with the CEO Marcel about covid 19 supplies, leadership qualities and the important people that support your journey of success and life.
I think it is the same process as success. Once we know what it means to each of us we can improve our habits, thoughts, behaviours, intelligent actions and surroundings. Failure means to me … Not being true to yourself. Not believing in yourself. Not fulfilling your purpose. Not using your talents. Not being healthy. Not making an effort for good relationships. Not taking time out for me. Not learning. Not reaching goals. Not managing money well.
Knowing thyself to achieve your personal higher bounds. Believe in yourself. Faith in yourself.
In this episode, we talk about following your heart and winning. No matter where you are in life, you have natural interests and passions for particular activities, subjects, sports, careers, shows, media and these places are a good place for you to start as you look inside.
I am always interested when someone says, Yes, I have a passion for … you could see their eyes light up. Your interests or passions sometimes go all the way back to your childhood. Thank about the hobbies and activated that occupied in your youth. Is there something worth tapping back into?
Live your FULL life, with where you are, with what you have and your limitless imagination.
As Nelson Mandela said, “There is no passion to be found playing small—in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” He certainly was a demonstration of that.
Status, Fame & Fortune: Could that be happiness for some … there is no right or wrong answer.
It’s more about knowing yourself! Knowing who you are, and defining success for you.
In this episode, we are going to talk about these three topics because we think it is very intriguing, why because we look up to people of status, how many magazines sell or even media outlines constantly share on people who are famous, covering their every move … why are people so curious, and want to know?
Why do you think? Do you think sometimes we can relate? Why?
What are your key personality traits? I will be honest with you, some people don’t even know. It could life saving, even relationship saving. In this episode, we talk about the emotional temperament types.
Know thyself. When you are engaged in an activity that feels especially suited to you very little friction is being generated between your capabilities and whatever you are doing.
You may experience what positive psychologists call “flow” - a sense of absorption in your activity that causes you to lose track of time and perform whatever you are doing at your highest level of skill. But when you feel consistent dissatisfaction, the chances are good either that you are not using some of these key personalities traits in the best way.
Journey to define success is confronting society and family expectations. Even if you had a supportive family, you may still need to break free from natural desire to please the people who raised you. Knowing yourself more, understanding the people around you, unwanted exposure of negative attitudes, these type of behaviours can unconsciously impact you, so you need to be in check.
Look to assess, how do you see yourself? How do others see you? Your demonstration of your skills will bring the attention of the right people, and you will see yourself differently when you receive the feedback.
My work shifted automatically when I started sharing my gifts, embracing activities in the form of media, interviews and collaborations.
Strong research suggests, it was not the talents and opportunities people lacked, that held them back, but rather the capabilities they already possessed that they were not using. You must begin where you are, and what you are - and start today, right now, the minute you find your own acres of diamonds.
Our world rewards people who maximise their talents, by discovering and exploring their own interests, lifestyles and capacities.

In this episode I talk about how a transformation is happening, about knowing thyself through data and using technology available to us today. This is the Quantified Self. In short, it is self-knowledge through self-tracking.

Autosuggestion is self-suggestion. It is the agency of communication between that part of the mind where conscious thought takes place and the subconscious mind. With it, an individual may voluntarily feed his or her subconscious mind thoughts of a creative nature or, by neglect, permit destructive thoughts to find their way in.
Through the dominating thoughts one permits to remain in the conscious mind (whether these thoughts are positive or negative, true or false is immaterial), the principle of autosuggestion voluntarily reaches the subconscious mind and influences it with these thoughts.
Your ability to use the principle of autosuggestion will depend upon your capacity to concentrate upon a given desire until that desire becomes a burning obsession.

FAITH. A mind dominated by positive emotions becomes a favorable site for the state of mind known as faith.
When faith is blended with thought, the subconscious mind instantly picks up the vibration, translates it into its spiritual equivalent, and transmits it to Infinite Intelligence, as in the case of prayer.
Faith is a state of mind that may be induced or created by affirmations or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind through the principle of autosuggestion (next episode). It is a state of mind that you may develop voluntarily through application and use of the principles found in this program.

DESIRE means, simply, knowing what you want. It is the first principle of success. Your brain becomes magnetized with the dominating thoughts you hold in your mind. These magnets attract forces, people, and circumstances in harmony with the nature of those dominating thoughts. Before you can accumulate riches in great abundance, you must magnetize your mind with an intense desire for those riches.
Wishing will not bring riches. But desiring riches with a state of mind that becomes an obsession, then planning definite ways to acquire those riches through goal setting and backing those plans with a persistence that does not recognize failure, will bring you what you desire.
