I call this podcast The Empathy Pages and call myself the empath. I've realised that whenever we listen to someone's problems, it is determined my two things- whether you can relate to the issue and how you're feeling at that moment. It is never because you consider the other person's problem as entirely valid, regardless of your own experiences. I aim to serve a twofold purpose with my podcast. One, is to describe ways in which I went through tough times, specifically unemployment, and the second one is to listen to anyone who might need someone. I promise to never be judgmental or make anyone feel like their experiences aren't valid.
I talk about the burden of productivity in this one, and the guilt we are overcome with when we're not able to bear this burden.
This segment talks about my own experiences with sleeplessness and the need to sleep excessively. It's an often ignored part of our life that has an impact on everything.
This is an introduction to The Empathy Pages and I call myself the empath of my listeners' social circle. My podcast is about two things. Firstly, it is about my own journey of dealing with unemployment topped with depression and anxiety during the pandemic. In every episode I am going to be describing a small way that helped me deal with things. In this episode, it is the letter that I wrote to my future self. I believe that small steps are more important on any road to a more peaceful self. Secondly, this podcast is about my listeners. I offer to listen to anybody who needs someone, irrespective of their problem. I will be happy to give my two cents of advice if necessary or to just hear someone out. Write to me on Instagram @zinebutmine and I promise to reply, always.
