Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. President Trump is bringing back the death penalty to the federal justice system by ordering the immediate executions of five inmates who are on death row for the heinous cold-blooded murder of children. There are 62 inmates on death row in federal penitentiaries, including the Muslim who blew up the Boston Marathon and the white supremacist who shot up a church meeting full of black people in South Carolina. The Bible authorizes government to use the death penalty for murder in Genesis 9:6: “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.” By ordering the implementation of capital punishment where it is clearly deserved, President Trump is taking us one step closer to biblical standards in our system of justice. Good for him.
