Dividing Lines

Americans are more divided than ever. The division that we’re experiencing now is not the result of petty squabbles over small differences, it’s the byproduct of a major disparity in values, ethics and morals between opposing sides. It’s time for conservatives to dig in, prepare for a battle and stand against ideologies that value political correctness, cancel culture, and open attacks on free speech. The left is engaged in an open war on American values, freedom and liberty. If you’re a conservative, an Evangelical Christian or Republican, please realize that you are in the crosshairs of the radical left.

We are at a crucial point, where finding common ground is dangerous and free-thinking conservatives need to stand firmly on our side of the dividing lines. We should not attempt to fellowship and gain favour with those who hate us and everything we stand for. It’s time to stop giving into radicals. We need to realize how far apart we are with those who wish to silence and marginalize us. We need to acknowledge what we can’t agree on.

We can’t agree that everyone is deserving of the right to life. In fact, we can’t even agree on when someone is considered to be a “human,” or what “life” really means.

We can’t agree that everyone is entitled to freedom of speech. There are ongoing efforts to censor political and social beliefs that don’t jive with the woke ideologies of our time.

We can’t agree that individuals have the right to vote for whoever they want, without the threat of reprisal or violence. We have seen many individuals accosted and assaulted for the crime of wearing a MAGA hat or being openly conservative.

We can’t agree that cancel culture is a negative thing. The left openly operates on a model that attempts to essentially end the lives of people they simply disagree with by going after their career, reputation, or livelihood.

We can’t agree that violence, in the name of a political or social ideology, is wrong. You can loot a store to protest racial inequity. You can surround the home of a politician and hurl insults or threats at them and their family. You can freely assault anyone that is identified as, or that you deem to be, a nazi or white supremacist.

We can’t agree that personal responsibility is important in an individual’s life. In the name of social justice, a large portion of society is willing to ignore the importance of individual agency and make cultural martyrs of individuals who have demonstrated poor judgement or decision-making.

We can’t agree on anything it seems.
