pray without ceasing, I Thessalonians 5:17 NKJV . We thank God for everything He has taught us in this season and we pray that we all apply it as He continues to teach us more and give us more understanding in Jesus name, amen. Let's always pray without ceasing. In every situation, in every season, in every way, communicate with your Father. He's always listening. You can do it through your words, thoughts, actions or deeds. Don't let anything/any situation/anyone stop or limit your communication with your Father. Be intentional. May the Lord continue to help us in Jesus name, amen. Listen and be blessed.
The secret place is an important place and position to be in as we walk with God. Its where intimacy is birthed, its where we truly get to know God. We need to understand that God doesn't want us to only go into the secret place but always dwell there. May God give us more understanding in Jesus name,amen. Be blessed as you listen.
We live by faith and not by sight. Feelings are okay, but like a quote put it, 'we have to inform the pain of feelings about what our faith knows is true'. Its okay to not be okay, but just don't go outside God to look for help. True help is only found in God. Don't depend on your feelings, they are not constant. Depend on God, focus on God, grow your faith. Listen and be blessed.
Storms will come, so will victorious times come. In every season of our lives, we need to learn that God is with us and we need to learn to put our focus on Him. Listen and be blessed.

So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but i found no one. Ezekiel 22:30 NKJV. We have all been called into the ministry of intercession ( we are a royal priesthood), so we all expected to be intercessors. Pray for people, for nations, for the body of Christ and so on. Life is not only about you. So learn to also communicate other things that are outside of you to God. Be blessed as you listen.
Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed. Mark 1:35 NKJV. We all need to learn how to stay in the place of prayer and not run off after saying some words to God. Time is a major requirement that helps to build intimacy with God. Be blessed as you listen.
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV. God wants us to seek Him, not because He wants to play hide and seek with us but because its in the process of doing seeking with all of our heart that we get transformed. Be blessed as you listen.

We are to always wear our armour. We are never to be caught off-guard. May God continue to help us in Jesus name, amen. Listen and be blessed.
We learn from the book of Ephesians chapter 6:10-15, how our battle on earth is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual powers. We are reminded to be alert and put on God’s whole armor so that we may stand on the evil day. This also admonishes us to view the world in a different way, seeing it from the point of the ongoing spiritual warfare.
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ” Exodus 3:14. Obviously we can't learn everything about God because He is God. However, there are somethings and some actions He has and still shows to us that helps us to know who exactly our God is. God is so awesome. Its amazing that our God wants us to be like Him and He is not terrified by our questions. God is amazing. Listen, be blessed and feel free to share.

God wants us to be a house of prayer because we are altars or rather our hearts serve as His altar. When we accept Christ our heart, our hearts become His altar. An altar is a raised platform where sacrifices are made. its a place were sacrifices are made so the spiritual can have legal access to the physical. God wants us to live a life of prayer because He wants us to guard His altar, He wants our lives to bear the fruit that being an altar or having an altar for Him_brings forth. Its a privilege to be an altar for God. God is specific and God wants His altar to be a certain way and He wants the sacrifices we make to be a certain way. That's what being a house of prayer or living a life of prayer is all about. Its about living a live of love, life of daily Communion with God, the life we were ought to live. We dont have to wait to we go to a physical altar before we can give a sacrifice to God. His altar is us_our heart and thats why we need to live the way He wants us to live because that the sacrifice that His pleasing to Him. If we aren't houses of prayers, then we are den of thieves. Let’s try to understand this; why would God go through all the process of Jesus dying and eventually leading to the Holy Spirit dwelling in us if He didn’t have a goal/ aim. Do we really believe that the Holy Spirt living in us is an accessory, or just added information? Of course not. If God has come to dwell in us it’s because it is necessary.
And why? So that we’re never out of fellowship. And I know we’ve said this here so many times that prayer isn’t about the place or about the time or even about the position you take. It’s about communication/ communion/ fellowship and understanding. Because God is on the inside of us, we can have a conversation with Him that never comes to an end. An ongoing conversation for the rest of our lives. And I believe this is how it’s meant to be.
This was a recording of the Instagram live session we had with Miss Subomi Obilana. For you to be successful in anything in life, you have to be intentional. The same principle applies in our walk with God_and we thank God He gave is His Holy Spirit to help us as we live intentionally for Him. To have a successful prayer life, you have to be intentional about it. Our walk with God is personal, so its important we know what works best for us. Do you like writing, or do you like drawing? Whats an unconventional way by which you like to communicate that is different from what others will term the right way to communicate with God? He prayed as He was getting baptized, He prayed as He chose His disciples, He retreated to pray, He prayed before He got crucified, He prayed in agony, He prayed as He healed, set people free, multiplied food and so on. Jesus Christ was intentional with all He did and one of the acts He was very intentional about was His prayer life. He wanted us to truly understand that we have to always pray to have a successful life. That was what He always did and that was why His disciples had to ask, Lord, teach us how to pray__. Many a times as Christians we often pray prayers that actually deals with God doing a particular thing for us, family, friends. But the question in today's discussion focuses on is ' have you ever prayed about what you can do for God?' I am sure many of us don't even think we can do anything for God. The prayer of God send me is a prayer for availability. Its about telling God you are open for His use, for a new level of revelation with Him. This kind of prayer changes your walk pattern with God, it brings you to another level of closeness with God. Some of our responses to God's call are, here I am, am not going (Jonah 1:1-3) , here I am, send someone else (Exodus 4:10-13), here I am, send me (Isaiah 6:8) These responses were discussed and the other part of the sermon that talked about how we surrender to Gods call and know His voice_ were also discussed. This podcast by the help of the Holy Spirit will help you understand the rationale behind doing prayer walks or chains and decreeing and declaring. There are different ways to pray. Doing a prayer chain during group prayers or doing a prayer walk are nice ways to pray. They have benefits and are good to do especially when the way you used to pray becomes mere routine to you. We should always declare the word of God over our lives and decree with the authority we have in Jesus. In all we do, the Holy Spirit should lead us. Listen and blessed.
All night prayers All night prayer is something we should understand and do in our walk with God. Jesus did all-night prayers, David did also. We can never be too busy to do this once in a while. All-night prayer or mid-night prayer or vigil builds self disciple in us. Its a sacrifice and God honours sacrifices. During midnight, a lot of deeds happen_especially wicked deeds. At midnight, most people are asleep and in the parable of the sower, we got to do understand that tares were sowed while men were asleep. Since we know wicked acts happen mostly at midnight, then it will be wise of us to intentionally sow wheats into our lives during this period. We should all strive to get to the point where even when we are sleeping, our spirit should still be on fire. Listen and be blessed.
Group Prayers. This episode shows what group prayers are. We look at biblical examples of group prayers and some promises attached to them. We also discuss some forms of group prayers as well as their benefits. As believers we are strengthened as we engage in spiritual activities, even with others. Group prayers help us keep the fire burning for God and they are vital in our journey of Faith. Listen and be blessed.
Prayer on the Mountain. In this episode we talk about mountain prayers. We look at what they are about, the indications for them and some of their purposes. It's important we set out time to be alone with God and away from all else, this is what mountain prayers are about and they help us achieve much spiritually. Listen and be blessed.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Psalms 91:1 NKJV The secret place is the place of the Most High. Its a safe place. Its a place we get deeper in God. We are to continuously dwell in the secret place. God wants us to stay and be willing to stay in the secret place. As you grow in God, you will grow into continuously dwelling in His secret place. The secret place is coming into the presence of God_communion with Christ. Dwelling in the secret place has a lot of benefits. Listen and be blessed.
Fasting is an intentional act done to help us take away distractions and put our focus on God. We can fast from food or anything that we know distracts us or we see is becoming first place in our lives (if its not God). Fasting and prayer go hand in hand. Its a balanced diet. Fasting without praying will be another name for going on a hunger strike. Jesus fasted and therefore we should inculcate this habit as we walk with God. The Holy Spirit should lead us into fasting. Never depend on your flesh, never think you can fast without the help of the Holy Spirit. Listen and be blessed.
Prayer is communion with God, a conversation where you speak and listen to Him. Conduct, is what we do; character, is what we are. Character is the state of the heart, conduct its outward expression. Character is the root of the tree, conduct, the fruit it bears. Conduct affects character, and counts for much in our praying. At the same time, character affects conduct to a far greater extent, and has a superior influence over prayer. Character also refers to the inner posture of your heart while praying; These include; Faith in the Word of God and in the finished works of Christ. Humility and brokenness Willingness to Forsake your will for His will Patience to listen and wait on Him A heart of Thanksgiving. As for conduct; Avoid all distractions Don't pray to be seen by men Out of love be considerate of the people around you and do not disturb. And let us not forget that the spirit of God is with us to help and guide us into all truth as we wait on God in prayer Listen and be blessed.
Prayer and Word of God (House Of God). This episode shows us how prayer and the word of are interelated and fundamental for our christian growth. Whenever the Holy Spirit lays a burden in our heart or we pray over a particular situation, the intensity of the prayer can be determined by how heavy the situation is_and the Holy Spirit can determine our fervency in these cases. Obedience is indeed a great necessity if you truly are to be a house of prayer. For effective communication to have occurred obedience has to be involved. Prayer is a two way communication between you and God, as we journey with God and pray we should expect to get instructions from Him as well as obey them. Hello family. This was the recording of the zoom session we had with Dr Mariam Oladele. Fervency can be said to be fire and God wants us to be hot for Him. We are minsters of fire and in all we do in God, we should always go all out for God. We aren't meant to be lukewarm. God is hot for us , so why shouldn't we be in this same fashion. Praying in tongues and maintaining the right atmosphere will sustain your fire for God. You can increase your fire by adding fuel to it and there are ways to do that. Rain will always stop fire and there are many sins or activities we might be involved in that rain cam symbolize_therefore we will have to do away with them if we want to maintain fire. Hello family. Desire or hunger in our walk with God is so important. While praying, having no desire to speak to God is like not having our heart stayed on God while speaking to Him. When we speak to someone that more interested in our heart than what we say, we will realise why there has to be desire while praying. If we pray without desire, it will be like we are mumbling words_hence, effective communication won't occur. Most of us see prayer as a mere routine or a set of memorized phrases. This shouldn't be. We should desire to pray to God because God always desires to talk to us. This should be one sided. 'Desire precedes prayer, accompanies it and is followed by it. Desire goes before prayer and by it, created and intensified'_E.M Bounds. We should have desire while praying and we should pray for desire while praying. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6 NKJV. Listen and be blessed,
Hello family. Faith is so important in every aspect of our journey with God. Without faith its impossible to please God. We need to believe God exist and trust that He will do what He says He will do. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 NKJV . Faith comes by hearing and when we have faith we must do. Faith is measurable and that's why we must increase in it. Lets learn from the people that lived by faith in the Bible and also pray that God helps our unbelief. If you dont have faith, search for what the problem is because faith is a great necessity for effective prayer. Listen and be blessed.
Hello family. War room helped us to understand that we are in a war and the real enemy is the devil. Most times we fight the wrong enemy and fight with the wrong weapons. Before or during any war there's a strategy in place. As Christians our strategy is to put on the whole armour of God. Our strategy is to stand in God_ and as we do this we get to fight from victory. We have always get out of our own way and let God fight for us. Only God can fighg for us and win_God really knows how to fight for His own. The first step to take to be victorious in spiritual warfare is to surrender and we surrender by putting on the armour. Listen and be blessed
Hello family Are you a Christian? This means you are in the Lords army. We are soldiers of Christ and God will have be good soldiers. For us to be good soldiers of Christ, we need to continuously put on the armour if Christ. This armor will help us develop and manifest the qualities that will help us be good soldiers. Without these qualities, we will easily quit or fall in our journey with God. The armour of God is like the seed that will help us bear the fruit that will keep us as good soldiers. Continuously putting on the armour will help us fellowship with the Holy Spirit, stand in God, surrender to God, train our spirit, guard our hearts and die flesh_these advantage will help us stand in God and fight from victory. Hello family. This was an instagram live session we had with pastor Segun Adeyomoye on 'the Holy Spirit and prayer' together with having some questions answered. It was an impactful secession. The Holy Spirit is our helper and He also helps us with praying. When we pray in the 'S'pirit we pray according to the mind of God and praying with our 's'pirit or pray in tongues can help us pray in the Spirit. We can never go wrong in praying in tongues and praying in the Sprit births effective communication. Listen and be blessed.
If we try to get into this discussion thinking that we can properly define and give dimension for the Holy Spirit, then we are headed for failure. At best, we can show you a side of Him that we have experienced or probably heard or read about. But you see, our lifetimes will never be enough to exhaust His personality.
Bible says that the living creatures and elders are crying holy holy day and night before God. They’ve been doing this since before the creation of the world and they’ll do it into eternity and never get tired. Why? Because everyday reveals a new side of God that they haven’t seen and so they praise Him for it because it is marvelous. So, if there’s anything we will take from this, it is that we cannot completely list the ways the Holy Spirit can help us or manifest in our lives.
Every day will come with its own new troubles and God’s Spirit in us is the only way that we will overcome. So don’t just limit the Holy Spirit to helping you pray, or telling you who you’ll marry at the end of the day.
Choose to live life everyday and at every moment in the Spirit, that is submitting to His will and yielded in obedience to Him.

It was addressed from the perspective of being a house of prayer and prayer being a love language of God. That is, prayer encompassing all the 5love languages. In this podcast, Holy Spirit helped us to answer how to pray, when to pray, where to pray, how long to pray and when to stop praying. It was addressed from the perspective of being a house of prayer and prayer being a love language of God. That is, prayer encompassing all the 5love languages. So if we want to know how communicate with God effectively (communication that births understanding) then we should know how to communicate in these languages. Be blessed as you listen.
Hello family. So on day 9, we watched and discussed the 'search me' episode of the dangerous prayers series by Pastor Craig of life church. It was an amazing and enlightening sermon. We should always pray this prayer. Its important that we tell God to search us, help us know our anxious thought and totally trust Him, bring out any offensive way in us and to lead us in the everlasting way. God wants to help us, but He wants to know that we are willing to let Him help us. Always tell God to search you. Listen and be blessed.

The primary purpose of prayer is to fellowship and grow in intimacy with our Father. Also we pray for the purpose of power. Our God is powerful and when we pray we partake of this power to do and overcome. This episode talks about how prayer is vital in producing power, listen and be blessed.
Prayer is a gift from God that we will keep unwrapping everyday of our lives because there’s just too many sides to it. Everytime we come before God sincerely, He breaks off a part of our old self (which we have willingly crucified with Christ) and molds us more to be like Him. Every time we pray, we deepen intimacy with Him, He renews our minds and changes our outlook on life. He debunks myths and lies the world has fed us and reveals the truth to us. He reminds us who we truly are and shows us how to live life the way He intended from the beginning. So why won’t we pray? Enjoy and learn.

Hey Family. In this podcast we discussed the ways of hearing God, its importance and how to hear Him. God always wants to speaks to us, but most times we don't want to listen. He speaks to us through His word, visions, dreams, people, etc. We start to hear by first having the first mindset, which is set and renewed by feeding ourselves with the the word, praying,etc. God speaks to us by His Spirit in us. Anything we hear from God will always correlate with His word, and there's usually peace together with love (assurance of His love) that comes with hearing Him. From what we said earlier about establishing that we pray to God Almighty, and after taking the time to understand who exactly God is, it only makes sense then that whoever’s name we use to access God must be someone of equal status and great importance. If this is true, and we compare it with what the Bible says about Jesus, then we are not disappointed. Jesus Christ is God’s own son. He is the very same one the bible records suffered many things on our behalf and He is God Himself because God has honoured Him far above any other being in heaven and on earth. He is our saviour, our deliverer and the only reason why we even have access to God in the first place. And so because of Jesus and the great sacrifice He made for all of mankind, we finally have ACCESS to God by faith in Jesus; because faith in Him makes us righteous. So if you don’t already get it, we pray in Jesus’ name because it is the only name/ the only person God recognizes as a valid mediator between Himself and us.
We’re praying to GOD. That being said, prayer should be smooth sailing. But it’s not; because establishing that we’re praying to God isn’t enough. In order for this to be significant, or meaningful, or carry any weight in our lives, we must give God His rightful place. Who we see Him as, who we understand Him to be, will directly affect how we approach Him and the value we place on communicating with Him. So ask yourself, “With the way you’ve been praying, the things you say, how you say them, and how you’ve seen prayer up until now, who exactly have you been praying to?”

This is inline with the JTSA program we are holding in the month of June, 2020 We will be recording the teachings that will be done and it will be posted here. In this podcast, we talked about love being the foundation of a good prayer life. We talked about how prayer means communicating with God and how communication plays a very important role in a love relationship. We also got to understand that true communication has occurred when mutual understanding has taken place. Hey family!!! This is the end of our discipleship series and we hope we've learnt a lot so far. In this podcast, we looked at how Jesus Christ treated His disciples and talked about some lessons to learn from the disciples. We learnt about how Jesus treated His disciples so as to know how to treat the people we disciple and most importantly how to live our lives_ since people are always watching and might get discipled from a distance through our lifestyle. We learnt lessons to learn from the disciples in order to know the habits or characters to build or do away with so as to be good disciples. We also like us to know that as Christians, Holy Spirit is our number one discipler, therefore it all boils down to our relationship with Him_ because once we come into Christ, we enter into the school of the Holy Spirit
