It's March and the month of empowered women.
As we celebrate International Women's Empowerment month, I love that we live in a time when collectively we recognize the importance of breaking biases for women and in turn our girls.
Empowered women, empower women – this slang is catchy but deep down mama, it’s pretty much highlighting what we already know - the work still lies in our hands.
As mothers and role models for our girls and future leaders. It is imperative that we learn how to empower ourselves and others.
Here are 5 ways I think we can start.
Speak up
Be curious and caring instead of condemning
Focus on your health
Use empathy instead of ridicule when discussing others
Surrender - Give it all to God
