I'm back, and some new plans are taking shape, which will be explained as we move forward. I want to acknowledge and ensure that God is at the forefront of this podcast moving forward because I can't honestly share my life experiences without including Him.
In this episode, I want to discuss God's calling on your life. When God calls you to something, he's not calling someone else to do it, He is calling you and it is time to step up.

I was unsure what this week's topic would be until I prayed about it and it became crystal clear. Let's talk about prayer, not in the old-school tense way but in a comfortable way.
Let’s keep it casual, today’s episode is a chat about why you should stop telling everyone your plans. Sometimes less information is more. Share your success after you reach your goal. Don’t add unnecessary pressure to your life by letting others in too soon.
I am always honest on here and I am not happy in every stage of my life. Sometimes I wish I could hit the fast forward button and jump to the good part. This brings me to the next topic, understanding where you are at in life no matter what season you are in.
The last episode was a repost called “Processing Life”. That episode set the tone for this episode. I went through life for years without living. I was setting goals and achieving some but not doing anything with that progress. I am a big dreamer but what I realize is without action dreams are just elaborate ideas. If you are not praying and working towards those dreams, what are you doing?
An oldie but goodie! I am sick this week and traveling so I am taking a moment to get some much-needed rest. Enjoy the episode, it sets the tone for the next one in two weeks.
I am a recovering people pleaser who decided to make the change because pleasing people is not pleasing to God. “If you live for the acceptance of others you will die by their criticism.”
Enjoy the episode! #newepisode #pleaser #faith #mentalhealth #lrcpodcast
I had so much fun with this episode! When you start setting boundaries people are naturally going to get triggered. What you are setting in motion is their own self-reflection. People are so uncomfortable with themselves that they will go on the defense and come after you just because the rights they thought they had were rejected. Protect your peace and be prepared. It is not your job to validate everyone else’s self-worth.
Comparison is the thief of joy and the killer of progress. We naturally compare ourselves to others, but there is freedom on the other side when you learn to let go and stay in your lane. Let's talk about it!
Learning to fight back when your insecurities pop up is essential for all of us. Be sure to stay tuned at the end of this episode and I will tell you the craziest story about the tattoo I am about to reference in the episode. Enjoy!
How is your accountability? I need accountability in every area of my life. This is nothing new for me but I find that in today's culture people do not want to own up to what they say or do and it's becoming a real problem. Today's episode is a gentle reminder about what accountability means and how it can affect your life and the lives of others.
Stay tuned until the end for a story about how I got spanked by my teacher. Random, I know. We all have to be accountable for something so let's talk about it!
Grace is the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings. It is also defined as courteous goodwill.
God gives us grace but why do we struggle to give grace to ourselves and others? I don’t believe a person can genuinely extend grace to someone else if they cannot extend it to themselves. Let's talk about it!
When was your courage replaced with fear and what are you doing to get it back? Let's talk about it!
Happy Mental Health Awareness Month!!! In this week's episode, I will be tackling some common questions asked by people who are thinking about starting therapy. There is no shame in asking for help, I do it all the time.

Today's guest Ben Carrillo will be discussing why you should not accept "No" as a final answer. How many times have we stopped pursuing a dream or goal because someone did not believe in us? I have done this more times in life than I can count. People don't always have bad intentions when they say "No" but its all about your perception of their response. If you really want something don't allow someone else to hinder your drive to go after whatever it is in life that you want. Enjoy the episode and the juicy confession at the end!
