Welcome to the Anointed Leadership Podcast, hosted by Pastor Terry Linscott, a channel dedicated to exploring the intersection of faith and leadership through Biblical principles. In this episode, Pastor Terry delves into the essence of risk-taking in leadership, drawing inspiration from the story of Gideon. As a leader, you'll discover the significance of embracing risks, defining clear goals, and planning for both success and failure.
As we dive deeper into Gideon's story and the concept of risk-taking, remember that great leaders embrace risks, define their goals clearly, and plan for success and failure. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and trust in God's guidance to achieve your full potential as a leader.
Thank you for being part of our leadership community, and we look forward to continuing this journey of growth and empowerment with you. Stay blessed and keep taking those risks!
In today's episode, we're talking about imparting the vision so others will run with it. How exactly is that done? When we look at Scripture, Habakkuk 2:2 offers us some clues on how to do that. Proverbs 29:18 also tells us why vision is important. Vision is important because without it, the people will cast off restraint. Another translation says that where there is no vision, the people run wild.
Leaders, if you want your organization to grow, you must do everything necessary to impart the vision to your team. Teaching them is not enough. There is a distinction between those who catch the vision versus those who you've taught about the vision.
I'll unpack these ideas today on this episode of the Anointed Leadership Podcast.
As a leader, we all want our organizations to grow. When I was handed the reigns at Abundant Life Church, I never would have expected it would be the same year of the COVID-19 pandemic.
While other churches were shuttering their doors, we remained open–while taking precautionary measures–and in that time, our church body grew 400% and is still growing today.
Let’s be honest: the Bible is clear that God is the one who adds to the church, but there are things we have to do if we want to see growth.
These are the ten things I did that helped grow my church; and while it is not a one-size-fits-all approach, these ideas can help any organization grow if implemented.
What are some other things that come to mind when it comes to organizational growth? Let me know in the comments.
Familiarity is something that creeps into our business, ministry, and relationships. When it does, familiarity attempts to drive a wedge between people. It wants to divide us. We must be diligent in guarding our hearts and minds to not become victims of familiarity. In this episode, I define what familiarity is, what it does, and outline a four-step plan for beating familiarity in your life.
In today's episode, James Randolph talks about serving as a second-tier leader to Dr. Mark T. Barclay, Preacher of Righteousness.
James shares his testimony about growing up around drugs and alcohol, living life on the streets, to becoming incarcerated for 10 years.
During his imprisonment, someone had the boldness to share the love of Jesus with him, and from that moment on, he dedicated his life to serving his pastor, the man of God over his life.
Today, he is second-in-command for Mark Barclay Ministries and oversees the Righteous Preacher's Network, Children's Ministries, and the Local Church with his wife, Dawn Barclay Randolph.
One of James's challenges he had to overcome is common to everyone: avoiding the sin of familiarity.
If you love learning, you love the discipline that goes with it—how shortsighted to refuse correction! - Proverbs 12:1
Many businesses, churches, families, and marriages crumble. Things happen, unforeseen issues and it causes things to be lost. Business owners file bankruptcy, Churches fold, closing their doors but I do believe that we can rebuild! But the way we rebuild is going to be based on the mindset! Our mindset has to be the reality of a thing rather than fantasy!

Many people do not like change. Many of us buck against change because it generates a problem or obstacle against our normal way of doing things. So what we do is when change happens, we normally try to manage the change but I want to talk about in today's episode is about embracing change. In such a way that promotes a greater success for tomorrow!
