This emotional awareness relaxation is a sensory relaxation process that can allow you to become more aware of feelings based on the sensory experience of an emotion.

This guided meditation is especially relevant for survivors of trauma, but can also be effective for anyone who wants to better understand emotions.

By familiarizing yourself with the sensory experience of emotions, you can become skilled at recognizing what it is you are feeling in a given moment, and address both positive negative emotions you experience in daily life.

... Now sit back, relax and enjoy :)

Metta is a Pali word that means benevolence, kindness, friendship and affection.

This form of meditation is one of the most soothing ways to practice the 4 forms of Love: Friendliness, appreciation and joy, compassion and equanimity.

Metta Meditation is free from any form of expectations. We don't do it to prove a point or accomplishing a goal.  It's just a process to experience and enjoy, starting from and experience of love and compassion to ourselves, and then show the same love and compassion to others as well by offering some loving-kindness affirmation phrases:

May you be happy

May you be healthy

May you be safe

May you be at ease

Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine, it's triggered by certain sounds and tones and it brings lots pf relaxation and euphoria.

For this particular loving kindness meditation, other than a soft spoken tone, I've inserted crinkling sounds, which are usually soothing for me.

What's your favourite trigger?

Our natural breath engages the diaphragm, a thin, but strong muscle between the chest and the abdomen.

When we use this muscle to breathe, the stomach rises and fall with ease, allowing us to initiate feelings of relaxation.

In our fast-paced lives, many of us have forgotten how to breathe deeply, instead, we breath exclusively into our chest.

This makes our breath shallow. And by doing so we promote the body’s ‘fight or flight response associated with feelings of stress, even when we are not necessarily stressed.

Trough the belly breathing meditation we can:

.Increase supply of oxygen and nutrients to cells throughout the body

.Increase the supply of blood and nutrients to muscle blood and bones

.Relax muscle spasm and relieves tension

.Release and reduces muscular tension that eventually may cause structural problems

.Support muscle growth and provides energy to get things done

Enjoy! :)

Sometimes we need some good old love and kindness,  but living in the age of social media, it’s easy to assume that our fellow humans are perpetually blissful, and so filled with love that they’ve never known a bad day in their lives.

This belief can feed our frustration making difficult to find the loving kindness we need within ourselves.

What about trying with some warm friendliness instead?

This is not a formal meditation, but more a guided experience that can be done in the company of your pet, that can be an amazing teacher of unconditional love.

Perhaps sometimes you may wish that there was an off-button for your mind.

A busy mind can halt us in many ways throughout our lives....and one of the main things a busy mind can interrupt, is a good night’s sleep, every single night...

Why is this so?

To answer this, let’s relax your mind just a little bit right now...

Chronic pain can be very hard to handle, but many times when we create a mental image of our suffering, we tend to aggravate this pain, thus increasing it.

Then every time we feel this sensation, we will have a negative thought attached to it on a conscious and subconscious level.

So what this meditation will teach you are techniques to change the mental image that has been created from this pain, and instead implement a peaceful association with pleasant visualizations that create a warmer bonding between you and your body’s sensations.

This allows you to accept and allow instead of fight and push away.

Enjoy :)

This guided meditation allow you to focus your attention not only onto your breath, but also though visualisation, allow you to focus on the color of the rainbow highlighting the connection and the meaning of this colours with your body, mind and soul.

Mindful breathing is a very basic yet powerful mindfulness meditation practice.

The idea is simply to focus your attention on your breathing—to its natural rhythm and flow and the way it feels on each inhale and exhale.

Focusing on the breath is particularly helpful because it serves as an anchor–something you can turn your attention to at any time if you start to feel stressed or carried away by negative emotions.

It's time to take a break.... and relax.... to deal with anger in a healthy, productive way.

Anger is a normal and natural emotion, and there is nothing wrong with having feelings - you are human, after all. You have the power to decide how to deal with this emotion you are experiencing.

Anger management does not mean holding anger in. It does not mean that you will never feel angry. Anger management is managing the responses that can arise when you are feeling angry.

All you really need to do right now is take a few moments just to relax, for you, to help you feel relaxed and calm. It feels good to relax. After this short relaxation session is over, you can proceed with your day, and react in a way that you choose.... relaxing for a moment now will help you to react calmly, rather than acting out of emotion.

It's okay to be angry. Just allow yourself to feel however it is you are feeling right now, noticing this feeling, but not reacting just yet. All you're doing is observing. Emotions are neither right nor wrong... they just are.

Forgiveness isn’t the same as condoning ourselves or anyone else for misbehavior. But we so easily hold ourselves infinitely responsible, often for experiences utterly out of our control or from decades past. With forgiveness, we make amends when needed but let go of the extra baggage. We give ourselves the same benefit of the doubt we’d offer a close friend.

On the other hand, we sometimes allow someone else to influence our lives long after they’ve gone in a similar fashion.

In this 25 minutes guided meditation, we'll work on the experience of forgiveness and letting go trough Chakra's visualisation and focus on our breathing.

30' guided meditation to help accepting the emotions of fears and anxiety.

Acceptance is a key component of Mindfulness. By accepting our emotions, we open ourselves to the experience instead of challenging them.

If an emotion is not challenged, it follows its natural course and impermanence and as it has come, it will fade away, allowing you to reflect upon a negative situation in a rational way with an efficient problem solver approach.

The body scan, as the name suggests, entails bringing awareness to each part ofthe body, starting with the feet and moving up from there.

The body scan teaches us to recognize and experience physical sensations. Much of our attention focuses on our thoughts and on matters outside our body, such as our job, social environment, etc.

This increases the risk that one will pay very little attention to physical signals. The recognition of physical signals, such as tension or restlessness, is important, especially for the prevention of stress and burn-out.

It guides you to draw attention to a specific point. In the body scan, the point of attention is one part of the body. The effect of such training of attention can also transfer to other areas, such as focusing (concentrating) the attention on a specific task, a conversation with someone, etc.

The body scan method teaches us to detect when attention wanders. Being able to notice when attention wanders is a critical component of successful self-control.
