Actress Jenny McIntyre and stage manager Caitlin Chatfield discuss the industry and shows with a new guest every week
SEASON FINALE!
Well, we definitely could have done a two part finale with everything we talked about with Amy this week! We talk all things National Theatre, moving to London, dinosaurs and Jenny has decided that yes, she is going to buy a stand to make self tapes easier and we don't have to make precarious towers.
You can find Amy on twitter @amyforrest26
Keep an eye on social media for the return date for season two, and be sure to subscribe on whatever platform you use to listen to us so you don't miss an episode!
We can't wait for season 2.
Time was tight this week, Jenny and I only had a 4 hour window to record. Our guest did us one better, and had an hour and a half free!
This week we talk to Dora Rubinstein about teaching yoga via zoom in lock down, the best costume to tech in and getting drunk while singing Sondheim. We also have a new favourite segment which will probably never be replicated, but we enjoyed it.
For yoga goodness, check out her website! https://dora.yoga/
We're back! Zencastr was not our friend this week so we went for everyone's favourite, Zoom... I did not enjoy the edit on this.
It ended up tying into the episode though, as we talk Zoom rehearsals and how to put on work in the current climate with Leni. And also a lot about kidnapping and serial killers. Jenny had a lovely time, although unfortunately it didn't all make it to air because Zoom audio is a nightmare.
We discuss all things comedy, Monologue Slam and the BBC Writers Room with Bexie Archer.
She's passionate, she's funny, just listen to it. Just listen to it. It's good!
Bexie has a website, how exciting https://www.bexiearcher.co.uk/
This amazing woman has entertained children up and down the country and we find out how she is keeping busy in lock down with a new challenge.

We have our first complaint and our guest renames the podcast the Caitlin and Jenny show.
Once again, we kind of become a cooking show for a while. We never promised consistency people!

We're totally professional now because we interviewed someone we haven't worked with for the past 3 years!
We talk Camden Fringe, the importance of Sunday crisps and getting paid to go on a road trip around Scotland.

I would also like to apologise to Kate McCabe, as she was referred to as a grown up on this episode, and that is most definitely defamation.
Some call her Marty, some call her 2 soups, some call her Lottie
Jenny also informs me that I need to post a link or tweet someone. But she can't remember who, what or why, nor can she remember if it is even this episode. So. There's that. She's probably right, I do always forget.

C - Eloquent as always

Yes, this is exactly how this conversation went, and yes, Jenny is a writer. I don't question it.

The Queen of Bread discusses the love for Attenbae and how playing Debbie Curtis springboarded (is that a thing?) her acting career. You can tell I let Jenny write these can't you?

What do clowning, the inner child and crisps have in common?
We could have also done an entire episode devoted purely to Wilson.

We ramble on a bit, but mainly we talk about self tapes and different creative ways of keeping busy during isolation. Also, the DnD references from episode 1 finally make sense. As much as Dnd can make sense. Six the Musical gets a mention again, it's almost like we really love that show.
