The past several months have been stressful across this country. What may be stressful for one is not for others and vice versa. However, the important question is, what coping mechanisms or simple strategies are you using to manage painful memories or difficult emotion. Today, while driving home I hit a squirrel as it tried to cross the road. While my teenage son was in the car, we were discussing driver safety and other life lessons in terms of choices and decisions all because the squirrel decided to cross my path.

Leaders are not made the same and the generation of young people between the ages of 24- 34 are in need of mentors and leaders to help them make better decisions. There is a big disconnect in understanding leadership styles and there are more people walking away from jobs/careers because of the leaders/managers they have to work with who have no confidence but plenty of arrogance. People don't quit companies they quit leaders in the company.

Today, as I walked out of my kids school, after the announcements the young man said "and rest in peace Kobe and Gigi" and a teacher in the hallway was upset and stated "what about the other 7 people, they don't care about them." I have to say the grieving process for young folks and celebrities and the social media or media in general has them connected to folks they may never meet in life. And that's ok. They are not disregarding the other lost lives, they just aren't connected to them as they are with famous people, in general. Let them grieve.
