Less is more: how to make less of overwhelm, worry or stress and create more room for more peace, presence, learning and connection. Listen in to hear some strategies to minimize the length and strength of impact those emotions can have on your day. These strategies include actionable steps you can take mentally to identify the emotion, allow it, feel it all the way through and not make it mean anything more than it needs to be. This process helps you move forward in a way better mood than if you let the difficult emotion consume you and take on a life of its own throughout the day.  The latter half of the show includes some wisdom from The Parent's Tao Te Ching by William Martin; ancient advice for modern parents. Martin does a remarkable job of reminding parents that less is more.  If at any point while homeschooling you have struggled with negative thinking or have wondered if you are enough for your child this year, this episode is for you. It is a reminder that what you have to offer is more than enough. Embrace the less is more philosophy and take comfort that both you and your child will thrive this year and beyond!
