Our unique experiences in the fields of Medicine, Law and Business means that we have many opinions regarding some of the biggest issues of our age. Whether it's politics, current affairs or even a review of an artist's new album, we have opinions and we want to share them with you. Most importantly, we want to hear your views too! Deep it, ASMR is tapped.
The emergence of the internet has led to a constantly-expanding platform for weirder and weirder things to come to life, and yet the birth of ASMR still remains one of the most unexpected phenomenons. With bizarre videos involving intense tapping, whispering, eating (among others) we discuss our interactions with this content and our opinions around it.
Deep it, Molly Mae really messed up.
After a couple of months away we are back talking about the outrage caused by Molly Mae's comments on a recent podcast episode. The title "Influencer" has only recently been commercially-synthesised, providing a platform for people with followers and fan bases on social media platforms to attain 'influence'. In this episode we discuss how Molly Mae's comments exposed some real oversights in "Influencer culture" and why so many end up in sticky situations.
Deep it, Hancock cheated.
Another day and another politician finds themselves in the midst of a scandal. The United Kingdom’s (former) Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, made headlines when footage was leaked from his office of him having an affair with Gina Coladangelo.
In this episode we discuss the scandal and delve into the particularities of infidelity as a practise of the modern age.

It's been an eventful year to say the very least, lots has happened and changed since we recorded the last episode of Season 2 and now we're back again! Deep it, we now have a Covid-19 vaccine.
After almost a year since the pandemic started, the collective effort of the scientific and medical community has finally produced an effective Covid-19 vaccine. The ultimate question on everyone's mind however: "Are you going to get it?" With much speculation around its function, discovery and effectiveness, we decided to have a discussion and lay out our own thoughts and positions on the matter.

In this episode the team invites the amazing Claudia Candini on to the show. Claudia’s academic journey brought her to the UK where she studied at the University of York, and then on to the University of Edinburgh. We take the opportunity to speak to her about her experiences in Britain, her opinions of the people and the culture. A fantastic discussion.

In a Deep it Podcast first, we welcome Dr Pauldy Otermans and Dev Aditya on to the show, from the Otermans Institute. They made history this year when they created the first ever anthology from the Covid-19 pandemic. Their determination saw them bring the book together in less than 40 days, overcome adversity and make a global impact by showcasing the stories and experiences of people all over the world.
In this episode, Albion delves into the journey that led to this amazing achievement, asking those questions we all want the answer to and, ultimately, finding out how we can all take our ideas and make history. A truly inspirational discussion.

It's been an incredible journey but now, season 1 is over! What better way to end it with an emotional and intellectual tribute to a very important condiment in our lives. Burger Sauce, the Godfather of all condiments and the bossman-title-giver.

Deep it, why does Social Activism keep failing? According to a mini-survey we carried out on our Instagram and Facebook page, 80% of our listeners believe that Social Activism has proven ineffective and, in light of the Jacob Blake incident, can this really be argued against?
