This month Brandon is joined by Zechariah and Jaquane as they discuss apologetics.  Apologetics is simply providing a defense for one's belief, worldview or faith.  As Christian, we are extremely aware of people questions, curiosities and objections.  While we make not have very answer we understand the importance of not ignore people's questions.

This month Brandon catches up with Nate and Sandy as they discuss health, or better yet "wellness".  Sandy the "White Kenyan" and Nate the "Black Incredible Hulk" are in great physical shape.  Yet, often times we create a hierarchy when it comes to health.  We tend to value physical health while neglecting our mental, emotional and spiritual health.  However, we some shouldn't compartmentalize health.  Instead, health should be viewed holistically because it is all interconnected.

This month Brandon sits down with Pat Junior as they discuss Pat's new album "I Thought I Knew".  In the day and age of the "Soundcloud rapper", Pat shares how rap isn't something he stumbled upon.  From early on, when his mother introduced him to hip hop and Jesus, Pat always had a passion for expressing himself through music.  Pat does an excellent job of creating high quality art, without compromising on his integrity.  Pat's album is like that of a Psalm His raw, honest and introspective lyrics takes you on an emotional journey of hurt, pain, healing, joy and peace!

This month, Brandon is joined by Kao and Emmanuel. Together they talk about doubt. They are not unaware of how their faith is perceived by others. Especially as black men, they are very familiar with the "Christianity is a white man's religion" or the "Bible is what the slave master used" rhetoric. Despite having a response to these critiques, it is undeniable there are times when they have their own doubts about God and faith.

In this month's episode of "Ya doin it wrong", Brandon talks with Tam and Bonita about creating content!  What is most fascinating about these multitalented individuals is not simply the content they create but who they are as people.  They are able to communicate their experiences with a level of self-awareness and vulnerability that is inspiring.  Together, they talk about their shared interest in writing, how they define success but most importantly how their content can glorify God and be an encouragement to others!

Religion, in particular Christianity, is generally viewed as a list of do's and don't.  You can't curse, you can't drink, you can't have premarital sex, etc.  However, if you truly take time to study, you realize Christianity is not restrictive but actually liberating.  In fact, Scripture teaches we have the liberty to do alot of things.  The problem is we think our liberties always need to be exercised.  As someone who loves to exercise his liberties, Brandon needs people like his sister Robyn to bring him down to earth!

This month Brandon is joined by his sister in-laws @graceofclubs and @lillllllllian. While most families have dysfunctional relationships, especially with in-laws, Brandon has a pretty functional relationship with his. However, this comes with its own set of challenges because it causes Brandon to take them for granted. Though he's known his in-laws for a decade, he's never had a meaningful conversation with them. Listen and laugh as Brandon finds out if his perceptions and assumptions about his in-laws are true. Do they fit the stereotype of the "good church girls who go wild" or has the challenges they faced strengthened their faith.

This month Brandon, Bapo and Roshan end RACISM! Well, at least they have the conversation. They discuss how the issues of racism isn't simply a black and white issue. The issue of racism must be addressed from a global perspective and not just through an American lens. As a Cuban American and Indian American, Bapo and Roshan provide honest insight on racism from their perspective.

This month Brandon introduces his new podcast "Ya doin it wrong!" And what better way to intro a new podcast about "doin it wrong" than to have his wife (Mylina) as his first guest. Listen and laugh as they discuss the cover art and it's brutally honest meaning. In addition, they will discuss how they meet and the time Mylina plotted Brandon's death (jk...but she didn't deny it!).
