The gathering of believers to worship and praise God is not a light matter. It must be viewed with great importance because it is where we grow together.
Be Holy, for I am holy. It is God's command to His people. In Christ, we are enabled to obey this command. Holiness then, is a Trinitarian work. The Father, Son and Spirit works towards this goal, "that you may be holy, even as the Lord your God is holy."
We are called to display God's glory wherever we go. Through loving Him above all and loving our neighbors as ourselves. In living this way, we spread the fragrance of Christ. Some will smell death, the unbelieving, and some will smell life, eternal life in His presence.
You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

Jesus Christ was the promised Lamb who was slain for our sins and was resurrected for our new life. Now in our obedience of The Lord's Supper, we proclaim the Lord's death until His glorious return!

Many of us may have Christianity as a religion. But the real question is: Are you really saved?

We find ourselves in a very strange and difficult situation. We as followers of Jesus Christ is not exempted with these difficulties. But, we have a sure fortress, a solid foundation. What is the purpose of suffering in the life of a believer?
To all those who are in Christ, the Holy Spirit has been promised to us as a personal Helper and a guide as we walk in this world. How does that happen?
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40 NKJV)
Why Do We Pray?
- To know what God wants to achieve in our life, not to get our needs from God.
- To make a good relationship with God, which is to realize sin, and be awake to the truth,
- To praise God after we got to know the will of God.
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. (John 4:23 NKJV)
Who will bring any charge against those God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger of sword? (Romans 8:33,36)
The preparations of the heart belongs to man but the answers of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits. (Proverbs 16:1-2)
"What does is profit, my brethren, though as many say he has faith, and have
not works? Can faith save him?" (James 2:14)
"For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise" (Hebrews 10:36 NKJV)
A lot of Christian believers do not know the true meaning of a faithful life. They just make the effort to attend church services and strive to obey the teachings on their own. Moreover, after 'fulfilling' some of the teachings, they satisfy themselves by convincing their selves that they have done well as Christians though superficially.
"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life." (Proverbs 4:23 NKJV)
There's so many people who spread the Word Of God. How much are you willing to keep the Word Of God in your life? Not just hearing the Word of God, but meditating on it and keeping it in your heart and doing according to the Word of God.
Though we are attending church services, this is a challenge for us to have our personal worship to our one true God - that we may offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to God.
How many did you follow from the Word, which has proclaimed at church service and personal meditation after your read the Word? What will you do from now on?
We have to change our actions: from the world to God. This is the way to repentance. Not merely reporting to God about your sins but to change our ways. That is the only way for repentance.
When the Word of God comes into your heart and plant its seeds, it will bear fruit to share the Word of God to others.
If you want to stay in your old ways, then you can't say that you are a Christian. As you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord, you become a new creation. We have to realize that we have to turn from our old self to our new identity in Christ.
If the branch no longer bear fruit, it is cut off from the vine and if the branch bear many fruits, the farmer prunes it to make more. How does God prunes is children to bear more fruits?
Like many people who encountered God, we will witness again a life that who's view of God was changed. Tune in and learn how God causes Naaman to have faith in him.
Jesus comes as the messianic King in the line of David to fulfill the Old Testament, especially its promises of everlasting salvation. The ultimate fulfillment comes with his crucifixion and resurrection.
But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” -John 4:23-24
What does it mean to say "If God is for us, who can be against us?". Why is it so important for us to understand God's faithfulness in his promises?
One of the recurring theme in the Bible is How God uses imperfect people to fulfill his promises. We will be looking at another person's life know, King Solomon.

It is one thing to know God intellectually, and it is another thing to know him personally. How do we truly know God personally?
Why is it important for followers of Jesus to have a solid grasp and understanding of the resurrection of the saints?
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
John 13:34-35 (NIV)
Jesus' resurrection gave us new identity - it is the witness' identity. Witnesses making disciples.
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11:25-26)
"Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it." (Matthew 7:24-27)
And he rose and immediately picked up his bed and went out before them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!" (Mark 2:12)
Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? (Matthew 7:1-3)
I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name's sake, and you have not grown weary. But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. (Revelation 2:3-5)
So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. (1 Corinthians 9:26-27)
If the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole lump, and if the root is holy, so are the branches. But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. Then you will say, "Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in." That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.
