Failing is part of our everyday life. Most people do recover but a majority of people go into depression and anxiety once they encounter failure. The bible says in Ecclesiastes 10:19 KJV. A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things. From the bible we understand that money is needed in life and actually makes life easy. However the is a misconception in the society that men are suppose to finance for all the needs of their partners as soon as they start dating. This has resulted in women developing a mindset of being entitled to certain things yet in a relationship both partners are suppose to bring money in the relationship. Our views are that, women should not expect men to pay their bills. Women should empower them self academically and financially. They should be financially independent. Men are not obligated to pay for their bills but they should do it because of love not be forced. As Christians it is important that we don't conform to the standards of the world of being materialistic in relationships. We need to understand that this does not change the roles and functions of each gender in a relationships in particular marriage but lets avoid developing a dependency syndrome to our partners. We live in a society where everyone must make a living for themselves this will change they way we relate and stop a lot of abuse in relationships.
The most frustration thing during my youth days was to be told to listen to God when ever i needed advice from my pastor. I remember spending the whole night praying to hear God's voice. The longer i stayed the more i got frustrated. The scripture in John 10:27-28 says that, i know my sheep and their hear my voice and the follow me. So here is the thing hearing God is the most "natural thing" that we should experience. So anyone can hear God. The problem i had during my youth days was the fact that i never bother to develop a relationship with God. i wanted God to speak when i wanted too and secondly I was trying to converse with a father i didn't know. Many us thing God is speak to in an audio voice, right which is to say we want God to come to our medium of communicating yet God is spirit. I am not saying God does speak audible but its most pastor will tell you its on rear occasions. Just like with the Prophet Samuel in the bible. Kytia puts it very well and simple and I promise as Pastor i have never heard of simple way to explain that this one. Be blessed. Do visit Kytia Lamour blog.

Failure is not the end of the world but its an opportunity to start all over again. Quitters never win and winners never quit.
If you want be an achiever the battle start in your mind. The bible says in Proverbs 23:7 As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he so is he. One thing that i have learned over the years is to always have a positive mindset. My reason is simple my mood and my behavior is controlled by the thoughts that i put in my mind. So each time i am not feeling okay i make sure that i feed my mind with positive things like the Word of God. When ever i encounter challenges i tell myself i can do all things through Christ who strengthen me. So in reality we react to the thoughts that we have in our minds about anything. So if you want to see change start changing your attitude.
Worship gets us closer to God. We worship not because he has done anything for us but we worship him for who he is. His name is Jehovah , he is the Alpha and Omega. John says he was in the beginning and nothing was made without him. His is Omniscient and Omnipresent. So when we worship we should do it in Spirit and In truth.
As a believer it is very important to be obedient to Gods voice. The bibles say in 1 Samuel 15:22 KJV Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. Pastor Wonderful Khumalo puts it this way, "as long as we follow Gods lead , we don't have to worry about the way". David says although i may walk in the valley of the shadow of death, i will fear no evil. As long as it is God leading us we will never lack. Be blessed.
I speak the covering of blood of Jesus over your life right now. Against all strong holds , principalities and powers of dark force that may be planning against your life right now. In Jesus name Amen. Confess it over your right now.
Its never too late to start all over again. The are situations that looks like the are unto death to us but Gods grace is always sufficient for us. Nothing will ever separate you from the love of Gods, not even heart breaks and diseases. Pick up yourself and because you still have a story to tell.
