Here we are with the 50th guest! I just want to say again how happy I am to have reached this mark. It’s been a beautiful year and a half of talking to people with unique stories. THIS IS CRAZY! Henry is officially our last guest of season 1. I want to thank him for pushing boundaries in the Arts and asking important questions as well as starting many valuable conversations through his work. Henry describes himself as an Artist and community agitator. From forming his Indie rock band in 2005 to just finishing his latest film not even a few weeks ago he is always busy being creative.
Bradley is a contemporary dancer and choreographer based in Montreal. There were a few things we didn’t cover in this episode so I’m going to dish it out here! Bradley is a recipient of the Concept to Realization Grant from the Canada Council for the Arts. In an email Brad sent me he had this to say: “Through the questions of identity I have been working on creating a dance methodology called Break Even. Which is a combination of multiple movement disciplines to enhance communication within partner dancing. Break Even and my stylistic signature are what make up the body of the two pieces. “ Then there’s what I have to say about Bradley: A multi-talented, crafty and extremely thoughtful person who is willing to share and educate.
Kendal is a singer/songwriter and self-care advocate in Toronto. Meeting her was an absolute pleasure. We talked a lot about healing through art and what it means to be self-aware. I genuinely love her music and now listen to it regularly. You should check out her album OK Cool with one of my favourite songs being Mvp.

Glenna was able to make me laugh throughout this episode even though that’s my job! Something I felt as soon as I met her was her positive energy and openness, as well as her confidence. She’s also very funny, like I said. Glenna was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and is currently taking a gap year to figure it all out. Something she does know however is that acting is going to stick around. She’s an actress who is famous for her role as Tillie on the Netflix original series Anne with an E, I literally copied and pasted that line from famousbirthdays.com! We talk about what it’s like to have DM’s out the who-ha letting Glenna know that she inspires them, as well as being a young female artist in this industry which is one of my personal favourite topics! Liz is a singer/songwriter who calls Toronto her home. She has many things to be proud of and yet she still had the grace to sit down with me and chat about behind the scenes stuff. She shared with us how she got on iTunes hot new artists list as well as writing a song for the motion picture “Little Italy” staring Emma Roberts. Thanks Liz!
Lia is a creator who just moved from Dublin Ireland to Toronto 10 months ago! Even though she has a full time office job Lia's passion lies fully in the arts. Whether she's behind the scenes or working on a script, or falling asleep to reading one she is fully invested in breaking into the industry.
Taras Lavren struck my attention when I learned he was a big part of Blink twice Films, a Toronto based collective of actors and filmmakers who make one minute films and upload them to instagram. Getting to know Taras was even more impressive with his long list of experience in the industry on and off the screen. From working on Anne with an E as an actor to being behind the scenes on the Amazing race, he was an absolute pleasure to get to know and learn from!

Doing dance as a kid to going to an arts high-school and then further pursuing it at the university of Concordia in Montreal, she has really dedicated much of her life to the craft. Chayla is a Toronto film and theatre actor. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, she has a BFA in Acting from the University of Alberta. A passionate actor who's serious about her craft and practices it on the daily in one way or another. Since moving to Toronto Chayla has involved herself into the community with full force and made opportunities for herself which is actually how we met when she starred in my first passion project "Ghosted". I'm still losing sleep over the fact that Winonah.forever told me during our conversation that her real name is Page. Without an I. Page is a very recent gemmology graduate. Originally from Sault Saint Mari, she later moved to Kitchener-Waterloo in her teens, and is now a Toronto resident. Page is pursuing her passion in art wether it be with her love for jewellery or in her drawing. She also knows the difference between a latte and a cappuccino.

However with any art we learn that it is not a straight road to success but that there are twists and turns and the joy is in the journey. Now here Brendan is humbly enjoying his bar job while still working every day at his craft.
