Here is the most authentic and most vulnerable version of me talking to you. It’s not perfect and that’s exactly the point of doing this impromptu podcast episode. I talk about how I am hard wired to compare myself with others and plagued with imposter syndrome and perfectionism every second of my life. I talk through some examples from my early life when comparison started creeping in and became auto-pilot. I also narrate some examples from my current life where I am still work in progress. I hope you guys can relate and this gives you the inspiration to be ok being vulnerable and put yourself out there and own your story. I don’t have an end goal anymore because I’ve realized the journey to become the most authentic and the whole-hearted version of me is what matters to me the most. Me and my friend Eli talk about how we got introduced to Minimalism and the benefits of living this way that inspire us to keep going down this path. It's a nice, light-hearted banter about our families reaction to our new lifestyle and how much clothing items, makeup and skincare we both own. We also touch upon our purchasing practises and how we plan/make purchasing decisions, as well as discuss influencers that have inspired us and continue to inspire us everyday to embrace the joy of owning less. As Eli says in this episode, minimalism is very personal to everyone and we all practice it in our own ways, so we really hope you enjoy this episode regardless of whether you are a minimalist or not.
