1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? — Romans 6:1–2
Salvation and forgiveness are rooted in mercy and grace from God. (6:50) What are you doing with the mercy and grace God has gifted to you?
Grace is the inducement and power to live a victorious life in Jesus Christ. Imagine living a victorious life. Imagine living with victory over sin. We need to know who we are in Christ. (9:25)
5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. — Romans 6:5–7
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God. — Galatians 2:20
3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death. — Romans 6:3–4
The devil would love to intimidate you with the bones of your old life, no matter what your old life was, you’re not longer a slave to that life. You’ve been completely set free! You are completely delivered into the victory and favor God has to you. So don’t hold on to it, or you’ll be bound by it. Look at the rest of Romans 6, verse 4, “Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. — Galatians 2:20
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. — 2 Cor. 5:17
We know that He gave Himself for us, that He might life through us. We must yield.
(32:36) You might say, Why am I not living in victory? Sometimes it’s because we’re not willing to yield. Sometimes it’s not merely spiritual, it can be a problem we have serving each other. We’re so sure we’re right that we won’t yield to one another. So we get out of the favor and victory, because there is a seed of rebellion inside. We all serve somebody. It could be the devil or it might be God.
There’s a way for you to not let sin reign. The devil lost control of you. You don’t have to let sin rule in your body. You have all it takes to have the victory. You have to use the power of your authority in Jesus Christ. It starts with your confession, that is, what you say out of your mouth. Speak it out loud! You don’t only say no to the devil. Say yes to God. Enthrone God on the throne of your heart.
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. — Romans 6:12–14
21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. — Romans 6:21-22

Scripture: Luke 15:1–2, 11–32
Although this section of the Bible is often called the Parable of the Prodigal Son, it could be called the parable of the Forgiving Father. These are some key points you’ll gather in this message:
Count your blessings. Thank God every day for who you are, what you are, and where you’re going. Recognize that if you’re son #1 or #2, what matters is the repentance in your heart.
God wants you to be a rule follower. He wants you to legitimately live for Him. There is a presence of the angels and Spirit of God when one sinner comes to know Jesus. (Luke 15:10) The rules don’t make you holy. Our righteousness is through Christ Jesus, our Lord, thanks to the mercy of God.
We need to protect the anointing. Don’t let the devil to steal the joy or anointing or vision or anything else! You have authority. Speak life to your vision every single day. Remember, the devil is defeated, God is on the throne, and Jesus is Lord. It was God’s mercy that allowed the prodigal son to be restored. God’s mercy is going to restore you. Don’t give up.

Key Scripture: Luke 15:11–32 NKJV
11 Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. 13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. 14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. 15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.
17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, 19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” ’
20 “And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. 21 And the son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. 23 And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; 24 for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they began to be merry.
25 “Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said to him, ‘Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.’
28 “But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. 29 So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. 30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’
31 “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. 32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’”

John 5:4, For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.
God wants to stir the waters for you! God wants you to experience His salvation, deliverance, healing, and victory. If you were born of God, you overcome the world.
1 John 5:1-4, 1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Walking by faith is part of the love walk, the overcoming walk, the victory walk. It’s all tied together. There are three ways for you to live in victory. What does victory mean?
First, you can have victory through salvation and deliverance. 1 John 5:12 says, “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” If you’ve accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have life. You have victory over death in the next realm. You can be victorious over death. Once you have victory over fear of death, nothing else can scare you and keep you from sharing Jesus with others.
Once you overcome fear of death, your confidence rises. Jesus made the pathway to heave clear. Others think we’re close minded to say that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. “No one comes to the Father but through me.” (John 10:25)
Second, through salvation you can have victory over fear, confidence in your witness, and comfort in your hardship.
1 John 5:14-15, 14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
What is God’s will? God’s Word is His will. God is asking us to open the Bible and find ourselves in it. When we accept Jesus, we surrender all.
Matthew 22:37-40, 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
The question isn’t do we know the will of God, it is, will we follow and obey?
Third, we have victory in Christ. If you want a victorious life, surrender your life to Christ. Surrender your children to Christ. What does it mean to have victory? Part of it comes out of your mouth. “Good morning Father. Today, I chose to surrender myself to you… Jesus transform my life today. Make every interaction one of faith. Allow my faith confession to take me to another level in you.” That’s how it starts. Faith confessions are valuable. Who are you in Christ Jesus? Who is Christ Jesus in you? What happens as you develop the character of God on the inside of you, victory comes. It’s exciting! The Spirit is crying out for you to exalt Jesus in every interaction. It’s the anointing we possess that brings us to victory.

That faith journey that we take in Christ leads us to a greater experience of God’s love, to deeper insight into His character, and further revelation of His blessings and miracles—all of those things become increasingly evident the longer we walk with Him. These things should become increasingly evident the longer we walk with Him. So I ask you, are these things becoming increasingly evident in you? It’s right that we honor God, the one who took us out of darkness and despair, saved us from eternal damnation, and gave us new hope through the light of His mercy and grace. God gave us new hope! Grace is how we get there—by grace through faith.
Psalm 27:13-14 NKJV, AMPC
13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.
14 Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
Our society has chosen to worship the idols of the world: materials, prestige, status, instead of prioritizing God. Many times, it may not be a Golden Calf, but it may be Jay-Z. It may not be a Pharaoh, but it might be a car, your money, your job, your spouse, your children. A lot of time, we are giving more respect to those people and things than to the God who made us. There is too much honor for materialistic living. God is troubled by the wickedness of people. We as humans are sinners. Therefore we are desperately in need of mercy and grace. We need a saviour to love, protect, and guide us on our life journey. So honoring God also means we submit to His ways. And know that He has a great and wonderful plan for our lives.
We need to walk in obedience to God and trust His ways. Let’s make an honest assessment of where we are. Make a decision to make Jesus Christ first and foremost. Make that our declaration of love to Him. Having a heart attitude toward God means we constantly practice gratitude and thankfulness.

1. Christ is Lord overall, because He is God. The Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God. God rules over all by His sovereignty. So, it’s also true that each person of the Godhead rules over all. Jesus Christ is the Anointed One.
Psalms 103:19 Modern English Version
The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all.
2. Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah, is Lord over all because in his human nature, he accomplished perfect obedience. He won salvation for us and received dominion. Jesus Christ is enthroned a the right hand of God the father, with eternal dominion.
Jesus, our Lord, the Christ, claims victory and authority over both believers and unbelievers.Even when you’re not living for God, He claims victory for you. The difference between claiming authority over both is that unbelievers don’t submit to His rule. Believers acknowledge it with joy, as we receive His salvation for us.
Eph 1:15-23 MEV: 15Therefore I also, after hearing of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, 16do not cease giving thanks for you, mentioning you in my prayers, 17so that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance among the saints, 19and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, 20which He performed in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, 21far above all principalities, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 22And He put all things in subjection under His feet and made Him the head over all things for the church, 23which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all things in all ways.
Matthew 28:18 MEV: 18Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
3. We are to obey Christ the Lord in all things. How do we do that? Sometimes it’s difficult because we are so trapped by our sin that we don’t want to give it up. But we are to obey Christ the Lord in all things. Our obedience to Christ doesn’t earn our salvation.
Romans 3:23–24 MEV: 23For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, 24being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith, in His blood, for a demonstration of His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins previously committed, 26to prove His righteousness at this present time so that He might be just and be the justifier of him who has faith in Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8–9 MEV: 8For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, 9not of works, that no one can boast.
4. Genuine obedience is the offering we give in gratitude to God, because we have already been saved and delivered. We have been given power by the Holy Spirit. So we bring forth the fruit of the Spirit. It starts with love. You have to make a quality to love others, even when it’s hard. When life kicks you in the shins, you have to love. Meekness does not mean weakness. Live a life that is not filled with pride. Be humble. Sometimes as believers, self control is difficult to have, but we need it each and every day. Don’t say things that shouldn’t be said. Not everything you think needs to be said. Lack of self control can cost you your future.
Galatians 5:22–23 MEV: 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23meekness, and self-control; against such there is no law. 24Those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
5. We are all to serve Christ all the time, all of our lives. We aren’t responsible for others’ choices in this matter; we are responsible for us. The Lord Jesus Christ is enthroned and deserves all of our service, obedience. The Lord Jesus Christ has commanded us to serve him. We were created, designed, and destined to serve him. We will find the deepest satisfaction of our lives, when we walk in the service God has called us to. When we serve Jesus, the Lord, we are serving God.
6. God provides a means of grace and unmerited favor that guides us. That favor guides you, equips you, and strengthens you. Say, “I have the favor of God in my life and that favor equips me to serve the Lord.” We need to find a way to immerse ourselves in the Word of God. We do so many things, yet we need more time at the feet of Jesus, allowing the grace of God to guide us.
7. Serving the Lord Jesus Christ makes a pronounced difference in every area of your life.
8. Because of the Lordship of Jesus over the world, sometimes we can learn from and sometimes we have to cooperate with unbelievers in short term projects. To meet the need of the person right in front of us, the homeless person in front of us. Because of God’s common grace, it allows that to happen and prevents it from being unequally yoked and that’s not what God would have for you.
9. The Lord Jesus Christ gives distinctive authority and responsibility in spheres of their lives. Sometimes you see it coming, but authority, like promotion, comes from the Lord. It’s not a human invention, because human authority is limited. Authority is delegated. As Christians, we should study the Word and understand our ethical implications for our responsibilities in each area.
10. Through Christ, God establishes a pronounced distinction between the Church and every other institution on the Earth.
Eph. 2:6 MEV: And He raised us up and seated us together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I turn over my self will to Your will. I invite you to be Lord over my life. Cleanse me, O God. Make me whole. Take my life and do something with it. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Transform my life and cause me to focused on exalting the Kingdom of God in your way of doing what you do. I acknowledge you, I praise you, I glorify you in the name of Jesus.

Key Scriptures: Genesis 1:26–31, Genesis 4:1–6, Book of Exodus, Matthew 18:23–35, Luke 17:12–19, Matt. 19:16–22
This story reminds us of the danger of ingratitude. Only God can bear the standard of morality. We are going to make wrong decisions unless and until we depend on God. Adam and Eve’s ungratefulness brought brokenness into the world. We see broken lives everywhere. Focusing on what we lack fosters disobedience and despair, while gratitude for His blessings creates trust, peace, and life.
God didn’t receive Cain’s offering because of his heart. Cain didn’t accept the direction. He wasn’t thankful for the chance to change. Instead, Cain decided to be angry and resentful. God warned Cain. Cain allowed bitterness to grow, especially toward his brother, Abel. Cain’s anger led to a horrible choice. Cain committed pre-meditated murder. That’s what happens to an ungrateful heart. It evolved into violence, jealousy, and murder.
We all need correction in God’s love. God’s love leads us and corrects us to righteousness. Failing to listen to God’s grace leads to disaster and destruction. We must learn to view God’s correction as a gift, and respond with humility and gratitude. We should be grateful when faced with the father’s discipline. Let’s embrace God’s guidance. It always leads to a better relationship with God.
They were delivered, but they longed for former things, even though God had given them all of the blessings. They couldn’t see beyond where they were. They doubted God’s ability to take care of them. They had opportunities to be thankful, but they allowed discontent to grow. You can only have victory to the level that proceeds from your mouth. Ingratitude can keep us from God’s best. Their discontent led to rebellion and unbelief. Rebellion is the spirit of witchcraft. We must be delivered from that.
Jesus illustrates the dangers of an ungrateful and unforgiving heart. This story teaches us the importance of mercy. Make sure that you weed out those things in your own heart—those things that are unforgiving and cruel. It’s easy to walk in anger, bitterness, and resentment. We need to extend the grace and forgiveness of the Almighty God instead of taking revenge. By making a quality decision to forgive, you are released from the weight of the sin.
Nine of ten leprous men who didn’t give thanks to God. The lepers asked for mercy. Jesus healed them. All ten went to the priests. All of them received miraculous healing, but only one of them returned to give thanks to Jesus. The other nine left without giving thanks to Jesus after being healed from a gruesome and deadly disease. These men failed to recognize the source of the healing. They took the gift and went away without acknowledging the giver. We need to acknowledge the giver of our blessings. Gratitude opens our eyes to more of God’s work and strengthens our relationship with him.
What do we call the problem in this young ruler’? I call it selfishness. He could have trusted in God’s provision. He couldn’t bring himself to let go of his wealth. It had become his security blanket instead of God. It’s better to live in victory over possessions. Trusting in material wealth brings anxiety. Thankfulness forces us to surrender our ungratefulness. It forces us to surrender our hopes and our dreams to the dreams and hopes God has for us in Christ Jesus.

Scriptures
1. Genesis 1:26–31 (Modern English Version)
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. 31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
2. Genesis 4:1–6
1 Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, “I have acquired a man from the LORD.” 2 Then she bore again, this time his brother Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. 3 And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the LORD. 4 Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the LORD respected Abel and his offering, 5 but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.
6 So the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? 7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”
8 Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.
9 Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?”
He said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”
10 And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground. 11 So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

What We Believe:We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day he rose again according to Scripture. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, who revealed himself on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their continuous operation in the body of Christ. And we believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic church. Amen.
Faith Confession:We conduct spiritual warfare. It begins with us as we speak God’s word and speak to our bodies, minds, and emotions. Therefore we make a faith confession which says: “Satan, in the Name of Jesus, I declare this body a sickness-disease-free zone. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and His anointing.”

Key Scriptures: Hebrews 11:1-2, 6
Hebrews 11:1–2, 6 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
There is a substance to your faith… that substance of faith causes you to become an overcomer in every area of life! We have to be believers, not doubters.
My belief in God is so strong, it changes the way I live. The moment I gained revelation about who God is, I began to change. It’s changed the way I live. Faith carries a cost and requires action.
2 Corinthians 5:7 — For we walk by faith, not by sight.
Living by faith applies to my past, my present, and my future. That means believing in what Christ did on the cross. It means Christ is doing something in you now. What is going to do in you in the future?
Christ’s death and resurrection is the foundation for a life of faith. It’s the beginning of a journey of trusting the Lord. We need to trust the Lord Jesus for everything we need. We are going to believe it because He said it, no matter what things look like.
God’s grace through faith in the work of Jesus brings eternal life.
Faith deepens in every part of our life as it permeates and grows. You are not dominated by your past. You are dominated by the Holy Ghost, and that is your future.

Key Scripture: 1 Corinthians 16:13
What does the Zoë life do for you? See 2 Corinthians 5:17 and 2 Peter 1:4. The Zoë life brings life to you. You’re brand new! People will see that something is different in you.
God is divine. Since like begets like, when you become God’s child, you share in the divine nature of God. See John 3:6. 2 Peter 1:4 says, “Through these, he has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature.” Zoë is the essence of salvation.

Key Scriptures: John 1:1, 14, John 14:7
John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
John 1:14 says, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” These verses describes that the Word took on flesh, that is, came into the world as a human, in a body.
Every aspect of our lives is affected by the Word—Jesus!
Words are an integral form of communication. Words enable us to pass ideas from one to another. By using the term “word” for Jesus, John tells us that Jesus is God’s message to us. And Jesus is the mediator for us. Jesus’ life is God’s way of communicating with us. Jesus is God’s sermon to you. And God is still saying that today, so if you want to know what God has to say to you, read or listen to the Gospels! Jesus reveals the mind, plan, and purposes of God. We want that, don’t we?
In John 14:6, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
Jesus’ life and character are the message from God to us, giving us guidance for all of life. How should we respond to someone who wrongs us? What is the Word telling us? The answer: look at Jesus. What are the qualities of a good leader? Look at Jesus.What is a Christian? What does it mean to be a Christian? A Christian is a follower of Christ—a disciple (a disciplined one) who follows Jesus.
Get baptized in the Word! Go down into the Word every day. Find the Word of God and apply it every day in life.
So we should ask ourselves and others, “Who is Jesus?” In the Gospel of John, the writer begins with that question. Then John spends the rest of the book giving the answer. John 20:31 says, “…these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.”
Look at John 6:58-59, We are so quick to throw stones when we don’t understand the Word. Let’s be less quick to throw stones and more quick to pick up God’s Word to understand. Jesus has always, always, always existed. Jesus is God. The fact that the Word was God, shows that Jesus is distinct from the Father. As an example, if you spend time with someone, you would say you were with someone, but you wouldn’t say you were that person.
[30:50 verse?] Jesus is the exact image of God. Jesus is the creator. You have that force on the inside of you. You also create by the words of your mouth.
Colossians 1:16–18 says, “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.”
God loves you. He communicates with you. He talks to you, if you will allow Him to. Will you allow God to communicate to you?
Joshua 1:8 says, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” You are successful spiritually when you listen to and obey God’s Word.

By starting from common ground [13:10]
Words are an integral form of communication. Words enable us to pass ideas from one to another. By using the term “word” for Jesus, John tells us that Jesus is God’s message to us. And Jesus is the mediator for us. Jesus’ life is God’s way of communicating with us. Jesus is God’s sermon to you. Jesus’ life and character are the message from God to us.
How should we respond to someone who wrongs us? What is the Word telling us? The answer: look at Jesus. [17:44]
What are the qualities of a good leader? Look at Jesus.
Get baptized in the Word! Go down into the Word every day.
[18:51] What is a Christian? What does it mean to be a Christian? A Christian is a follower of Christ—a disciple (a disciplined one) who follows Jesus.
So we should ask ourselves and others, “Who is Jesus?” In the Gospel of John, the writer begins with that question. Then John spends the rest of the book giving the answer.
[20:50] John 20:31 says, “…these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.”

[35:00] We have to acknowledge that we are dependent on God. Colossians: He is before all things and in Him all things hold together. Everything alive today is alive because of Jesus. He didn’t just create us, he sustains us. We have to acknowledge that everything we have is because of Him. … Most importantly, our salvation is from Him.

Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 16:13
Let’s feed our faith and starve our doubt.
God is working on your behalf! Stand firm in faith by praising God. Stand firm in faith by praying for others. Fainally, be patient while standing firm in faith.
Your will needs to be under God’s will in order for God’s will, desire, and glory to be at work inside of you. Your will has to serve His will. This is not easy. It’s not easy to serve others, to always love others, to stand firm in faith when you’re under attack. Sometimes it feels like there’s no hope, but there’s always hope, which comes from God.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

Make this a part of your confession: Today I am going to walk in my adventure in faith. No devil is going to distract me, because I have an adventure in faith. Today is my day for victory! You are connected to the Vine!
It’s not easy. What makes it easier is we abide in, connect to, immerse ourselves in the Word and in Faith. That’s what makes it easier, but it’s still a walk of faith—an adventure in Faith!

ScripturesJohn 15:7
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
John 15:1-2
1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit… 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”
5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”

Key Scriptures: John 3:3, 1 John 3:9
The nature of God allows you to reflect the character of God. The DNA test of faith is clear—you belong to God. God not longer sees you in your sin nature. As God’s child, God nurtures you and develops your character. He wants you to be an expressed image of His Glory. He works in your life so you’ll live out your identity as His Child. Isn’t that amazing?
Take some moments this week to reflect on these points. This message was delivered by Pastor Hucks on Sunday, September 15 , 2024.

Key Scriptures: Ephesians 5:1, John 3:16, 1 John 3:16
Walking in love is not always easy. It’s not the thing we do by our nature, but God makes a way for us to walk in love. We walk in love by imitating God like Jesus did, offering our lives as a sacrifice. Christ loved us and gave himself up for us. Sometimes that’s more difficult than we even understand, because walking in love is a decision you have to make every single day. Make a decision to walk the love walk, to walk in forgiveness. Many of us have gone through some things. Somewhere in our lives we need the spirit of forgiveness and love. We were cleansed from our sins when we obeyed the truth. Now we need to show the same truth and love to one another.

Message
ScripturesEphesians 5:1 — Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us.
John 3:16 — For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
1 John 3:16 — By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
John 4:9, 11, — 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
1 Corinthians 4:4-8 — 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails.
Galatians 5:13-15 — 13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
1 Peter 1:22-23 — 22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

Key Scriptures: Psalm 150, Psalm 149
God’s Word implies that the very act of living and breathing is a form of praising God. This connects to the truth that all life is sustained by God’s breath. You have to make a quality decision that you’re going to praise God, no matter what you feel, no matter the circumstances you find yourself in, no matter who’s saying what. You have to make a decision that you’re going to praise God when it’s tough and when it’s easy. If you act in ways that please God, you’ll be praising Him.
A prayer: God, help me control my tongue. Help me to capture my spirit and make my spirit subject to you. Help me to say things that honor you. Help me to be a pillar of faith. Help me to praise you with my entire being. Help me to surrender myself and my will to your will, O God. Because you, O God, are worthy of praise, of honor, of lifting up in admiration. You, O God, make me who I am.
Get up every day and surrender parts of your life to God. Give Him praise, even in the midst of chaos.

Revelation 5
13 And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”

Sing to the LORD a new song,
And His praise in the assembly of saints.
2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

And a two-edged sword in their hand,
7 To execute vengeance on the nations,
And punishments on the peoples;
8 To bind their kings with chains,
And their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute on them the written judgment—
This honor have all His saints.
Praise the LORD!

13 For great is Your mercy toward me,
And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.

Message RevisitedSince our knowledge of the blood of Christ is lacking, so is our ability to access and experience the blessings that the blood has purchased for us, namely, our redemption. We have not only been redeemed from something, we have also been redeemed to something. We know what we’ve been redeemed from: the power of sin, from the law of sin and death, from the domain of darkness—even though we are not always walking in the fullness of that redemption. We have not just been redeemed from something, but also to something. Otherwise, it would have left a vacuum.
When God formed man from the dust of the earth, man was lifeless. In order for life to enter into man, God had to do something. God placed His own life force inside of man, and man became a living soul. We see this in Leviticus 17:14. So, using Genesis 2:7 and Leviticus 17:14, we find that the life force was located in man’s blood, and that it was pure life. We see it in the name of Adam. There is much more to this. For more insight, listen to this message originally delivered by Dr. Dowdy on November 29, 2020.
Key ScripturesHebrews 4:16 NKJVLet us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Leviticus 17:11, 14
For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’ …for it is the life of all flesh. Its blood sustains its life. Therefore I said to the children of Israel, ‘You shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.’

God has set us free by the blood of Jesus. This week we look at how the power to conquer, sanctification, and freedom from fear are in the blood of Jesus. Nothing compares to the blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation was purchased by and through the blood of Jesus Christ. All is found in the blood, all is received in the blood, all is accomplished by the blood. We must learn to plead the blood of Christ. But do we know what that means? Revisited MessageWe have access to God’s throne of grace through the blood of Jesus Christ. It is because of the blood of Christ that we can approach God’s throne with confidence and expectation. When we approach God’s throne with confidence, his grace will empower us, to help us in our time of need. A throne symbolizes a seat, or a place of dominion or rulership. We must yield to the Holy Spirit in order for Christ to be fully formed in us. This is done through God’s grace.
To experience God’s grace requires us to focus on the present. We can only live in the present moment. God is a God of now. Fear produces uncertainty. Uncertainty is not a cause, it is the result of something, namely sin. The blood of Christ is the cure for it, eliminating the root cause. God’s desire is to bless his children and to fill them with unbounded delight. Any time you are tempted to entertain thoughts of uncertainty, plead the blood, and declare that God destroyed that power of uncertainty and its root of sin. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you revelation regarding the defeat of uncertainty. For more insight, listen to this message originally delivered by Dr. Dowdy on November 15, 2020.

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. [New King James Version]

What is the heart of man? We can look at the heart as a data collection center, because the spirit, mind, and other soul portions feed into the heart. That is how our ideas, beliefs, actions, and thoughts receive operating instructions. Prov. 23:7 tells us: “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” What is the default system that is capturing most of the available heart space? It should be the reborn spirit of man that receives data from the throne via the Holy Spirit. That is the impetus of hiding His Word in our hearts that we might not sin against Him. Those who have failed to plant the Word are referred to as babes in I Cor. 3:3; there has been no changes in their attitudes, behavior, or lifestyle patterns. After the initial confession of Jesus as savior, the love of God did not receive sufficient God life nutrients to transform the contents of the heart. Read the synoptic gospels about the sower sowing the Word in Matt. 13:1-23; Mark 4:3-20; and Luke 8:5-15. Notice the hearts that did not produce the fruit of God’s Word!!
Listen to this Message, originally delivered on February 13, 2022, on the differences between the spirit and soul, and be ready to absorb the transformational energy that enables us to live as “New Creations.”

Key Scripture: Psalms 23 & 91
Service:Message:Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD
Forever.
Psalm 91
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”

Key Scripture: Hebrews 4:2-3 NKJV
For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:
“So I swore in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest,’ ”
although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Growing Love In Our Hearts, Part 2 Lion of Judah Worship Center Ministries, Pastor E. C. Dowdy
Scriptural text — Romans 5:5 “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” For clarity on this verse, read from verse 1-verse 10 of this chapter.
So here we are again looking at the love of God, and how it should impact us as adopted children of the Most High.
We are going to take an aside and look briefly at God 101: Who is this entity we refer to as Creator, Healer, Peace? How do we love someone we have never seen physically? Therein lies much of the misunderstanding: we have heard various things about God, we read His Word without a clear understanding of its meaning, get frustrated and walk away, or resign ourselves as failures.
God’s love is always an action verb. He demonstrated that love to us while we were yet sinners (not us physically, but the writers of the Word), by sending His Son to die for our sins, that we may be redeemed. By this act and others, He demonstrates a love that is not based on emotion. How can we know Him? We can know Him through Jesus, who stated: “If you have seen me, you have seen the Father.” We come to know Jesus by reading the gospels and the book of Acts, where He demonstrated the will of the Father towards humanity. Jesus did not go off on a tangent, doing His own thing, He stated: “I only do those things that I see my Father do, and I only say those things that I hear my Father say.” Clearly they were in one accord. When we view the Godhead through that prism of loving, providing, redeeming, healing, protecting, and saving us from the authority of the kingdom of darkness, we begin to understand His incredible love, and we willingly reciprocate. Describing Him as love does not indicate any weakness, or inability in Him. It does not mean that He will arbitrarily disregard our lifestyle and thought patterns. Remember, He looks on the heart! “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he” (Prov. 23:7).
The love that replaces the nature of Satan in our hearts is developed because we have taken the time to read, study, and meditate on His Word. That Word has to be transformed from head knowledge to heart conviction for changes to take place in us, through us and with us. It is His love that delivers us from fear. It also delivers us from all of the attacks that arise from the kingdom of darkness. Remember Jesus defeated the prince of darkness with the Word.
Let us create a dwelling place for his love in our hearts by concentrating on His love, care, and provision.

Growing Love In Our Hearts, Part 1 Lion of Judah Worship Center Ministries, Pastor E. C. Dowdy
Scriptural Text — I John 4:7 “Beloved let us love one another: for love is of God, and everyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God.” Verse 8: “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”
This letter (epistle) is known as the love letter/book, for in it is chronicled the love of God. It shows the importance of our growing love in our hearts, and how God’s love should be default system we operate from as believers.
If you are wondering why we started the New Year off with a Message on the growth of love, excellent! We many times struggle with the love issue. We may have fallen into the deception trap that God’s love requires a degree of weakness, that we as self-sufficient beings are quite capable of handling many of the love/hate issues.
Our hearts, the center of our being, the place where God searches, must reflect who is in charge. In Matthew 15:18-20 we hear Jesus expounding on the contents of the heart: “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart: and they defile the man. (19) For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. (20) These are the things that defile a man: but to eat with unwashed hands defileth not a man.”
Now the word defile means to make unclean; if the contents of the previous spiritual parent are still in our hearts, we have a problem trying to live by God’s rules. That is why we have closet sinners active and operating in the church. Now in Matthew 5:8 as Jesus is teaching on the beatitudes he stated “only the pure in heart shall see God.” Dilemma!
If our hearts are still filled with the contents of the previous owner, and we are trying to merge the operating systems, we can easily become overwhelmed.
The Holy Spirit’s instructions to me during the latter part of 2021 was to focus on heart cleansing in 2022. No matter how religious we believe we are, there are times we regurgitate something from the old life. God’s Word tells us that if any man is in Christ he is a new creation (II Cor. 5:17).
So be encouraged to plant the Word of the living God in our hearts that we may grow and produce fruit.

Listening with Intentional Purpose, Revelations 2:7 Lion of Judah Worship Center Ministries, Pastor E. C. Dowdy
In Revelations, chapter two, verse seven we read: “He that has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is speaking to the churches. To him who overcometh, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.”
This verse is set in the midst of the word to the seven churches, the words contain warnings about what is needful to achieve the full measure of righteousness. They were told of the things that were pleasing, but warned of the things that were needful. The verse that speaks of hearing ears is repeated in part in verse eleven.
We cannot escape the warning in verse four: “You have left your first love!” Does the fire of love and dedication still burn as brightly as it did in the beginning of your walk with Him? Have we permitted complacency and lethargy to dampen our light? In Matthew, we hear Jesus saying the almost exact same thing: if you have ears to hear, then listen to what the Spirit of the living God is speaking this day. Don’t assume what you heard through the grapevine is factual, without additives, and genetic modification.
The eyes of God are moving across this planet, when they come our way, let us be ready. We have purified our hearts, our hands are clean, we have not given the members of our bodies as instrument of unrighteousness. We have hearing ears, and know the voice of the Spirit.

He Calls Those Things Which Be Not, Romans 4:17 Lion of Judah Worship Center Ministries, Pastor E. C. Dowdy
When the writer of this letter to the Romans opens the Word of Revelation knowledge, he reminds the hearers/readers of the fact that Abraham’s faith in what had not transpired was based on his relationship with God. God Almighty defines things that have not yet manifested in the physical world as done. Is He telling us how true faith works? Well let us examine some supporting scriptures. Verse seventeen is closely related to Heb. 11:1, what is faith? The evidence of things not seen! Jesus stated in Mark 11:24, “And when you pray, believe you have received…” All following the template established by God who Calls those things that be not as though they were….
God is not have any issues with belief. He is not fighting against fear, doubt, unbelief, or any of the agents from the kingdom of darkness that come to steal, kill and destroy. He is El Elyon, the Most High! No one in His category in the entire universe. Of course He has confidence in His Words, and that is the lesson that is being imparted to us: learn to speak as God speaks, take the necessary steps of preparation to assure that our lips are clean, our hearts are filled with love, peace, forgiveness, and that sweet and bitter waters are not flowing forth from our lips. Then let us begin the process of God imitation. What things can we call as having three dimensional appearances? His promises. If He said it, we can have confidence in it, and return His Word to Him in faith.
As you listen, meditate on the specific promise you have chosen to stand on by faith. Remember Abraham believed God’s Word for twenty-five years before Issac’s birth. That is why we are the seed of Abraham, because of the faith he exhibited in the Almighty God. Call yourself healed today! No you are not deluded, you believe the God who said: I am the God that healeth thee…I am the Lord your healer, I’ve sent my Word and healed your disease….I am the Lord your healer!

Foundation Scripture for LOJWC Ministry: “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23
What We Believe: We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, who revealed himself on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their continuous operation in the body of Christ. And we believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic church. Amen.

Not By Bread Alone Pastor E. C. Dowdy, Lion of Judah Worship Center Ministries
As we peruse the scriptures from Deut. 8:3, Matt. 4:4, and Luke 4:4, although the statement is a reference to physical bread, we need to pause and allow the Words to enter our heart. The meaning goes much deeper than the surface level of a slice or loaf of bread. Even though Jesus referred to Himself as the Bread of Life, and healing as the children’s bread, it underscores the necessity of a stable life factor. Probably one of the first requirements for establishing a community would be planting grain, or harvesting wild grain, and preparing it for human consumption.
However, as we dig deeper we see a principle emerging: don’t worry about your needs, even the basic day to day needs, the Father is Jehovah Jireh, and it is not the bread you eat that gives life but every Word that proceeds from the mouth of the Father. This defines Him as not only our provider, but also as our healer. We live by the Word of the living God, who is Life; He has imparted that life into our being. We are to remember Jesus’ Words in the beatitudes … take no thought for the morrow. God, has promised to meet and provide for all of our needs, therefore we do not need to be anxious for anything.
When the economy appears take a turn away from satisfactorily meeting our needs…It is Not by Bread Alone… Listen to this Message by Pastor Dowdy

When You Stand Praying, 2021 Mark 11:25-26
We have stepped into fertile delta soil spiritually when we come to this section of scripture. The chapter begins with what we celebrate today as Palm Sunday. We find Jesus instructing his disciples what they needed to celebrate communion. This is His last week of the earthly ministry He had been sent to open for the physical descendants of Abraham. He has cursed the fig tree before we reach the twenty-fifth verse. He has explained the power of speaking in faith, now he tells the listeners a very important fact that was needful and necessary for them, He said FORGIVE!
Now forgiveness works by love, when we encounter problems in the natural state, and it becomes an impossible situation, then we lay it down as unobtainable.
We shared some scriptural examples of what forgiveness can and will accomplish in our lives, for instance Matt. 18:24-35, Matt. 6:14-15.
Forgiveness means we release the debt; even though they wronged us, it is a personal act now between us and God. He is the righteous judge, His judgements are righteous altogether. When we hold on to bitterness, hard feelings, bitterness, etc. we have replaced God and set up ourselves as the judge and jury in the case. We have set up ourselves as an idol in our own hearts (Ezek. 14:1-3). Now that is heavy!
When our souls are repaired/restored then we are able to completely forgive atrocities that may even extend back to generational acts that we inherited the emotional ties to. Our emotions, memories, mind, heart, will, and intellect have all been negatively impacted by this cancer of unforgiveness, but God has created a path back to wholeness. Plant, grow, and eat the fruits of His love that will transform all negative emotions into energy-less particles that can no longer work to keep us in bondage. Speak to the mountain; utilize the power of binding and loosing, all of these are medicine to produce forgiveness.
Be blessed and walk in forgiveness!

Released from the Curse of the Law Key scripture Galatians 3:13, and supporting scriptures Deut. 21:23 and Romans 8:3.
What does it mean to us as believers when we read this scripture? Released from the “Curse of the Law!” Were we under a curse. Where did it come from? How did we become its victims?
To fully understand the reason and the consequences of the above statement we have to look at the tenets of the blood covenant. Back in Genesis, the fifteenth chapter, we are privileged to listen to God and Abraham discussing his (Abraham’s) future and what God had planned for his descendants. Abraham believed God, as we are told in Romans chapter 4, but exhaled, and wondered… God allayed his concerns with the directions to set up the sacrifice for a blood covenant. What is the Blood Covenant? Let us go back to Genesis when Adam disobeyed and took of the forbidden fruit. He broke his covenant relations with the Most High God, and control of the planet went to the Prince of Darkness (Satan). See II Cor. 4:4. We read that God slew an animal to hide their nakedness, but more than their physical nakedness resulted from the decision—the spiritual covering they had was also gone. God used the blood of the slain animal to cover their sins. Sin cannot stand in the presence of a holy God and survive! From that blood covering grew an act that all indigenous peoples practiced in various forms. It did not even resemble the original, but nevertheless the core was for covering/protection. Those in covenant became staunch supporters of each other’s families, resources, and rights. When two tribes, families came together in the bond of the blood covenant, it was an iron clad contract that pledged the support, protection, and assistance of the covenant partners to each other. Now, back to Genesis 15, and we have God telling Abraham to prepare the sacrifices.
The terms of the covenant include a blessing for upholding the tenets of the covenant and a curse for disobedience. Read Deut. Chapter 28:15-61. This is what would happen if the terms of the covenant were broken; when the physical descendants of Abraham went into bondage, it was the breaking of the terms of the covenant. The curse operates under the law. Since Jesus redeemed humanity (as many as believe in Him), we are no longer under the curse of the law, nor the law of sin and death.
If we are ignorant of the fact that the operation of the calamities that occur under the curse are operating illegally, unless we have opened a door, then we can stand on the Word of the living God for deliverance and restoration.

Faith – A Spiritual Law “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 KJV
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 NASB
I am going to detonate a spiritual bomb here: God is a faith God! When he spoke creation into being, it was by faith in His Words. When Jesus said, “You shall have what you say if you believe and doubt not,” in Mark 11:23, just as in creation, he was operating in a faith law. If you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth! Now a law is an edict put in place by those in authority to establish that concept. Faith is a spiritual law, because it is the method that God operates in. In His goodness, and to help establish us as his adopted children, He has expanded the concept to us: believe in your heart, confess with your mouth! How did you get saved? See Romans 10:9–10. You heard the word of salvation, it pierced the thick darkness of unbelief, and you believed in the inner man, that belief led to you making a confession of salvation. Believe and confess! Actually faith is quite simple; we have added layers of fake material to it to attempt to complicate the process. That concept had its genesis in the mind of the prince of darkness to keep us from maturing in our walk as believers, and to assist others to mature in their Christian walk…if we believe that. Well you never know what God is going to do…we will not step out on the law of faith, because doubt will short circuit the faith light to prevent it from attaining brilliance.
The simplicity of faith is that as we delve into the Word of the living God, and meditate on it, it is being transferred from head knowledge into heart revelation knowledge, and that is when it releases the nutrient richness of its contents. What happens when we eat natural food? It has to get inside of us, in the digestive system where it is broken down into particles that can be absorbed and feed every cell in our bodies. The spiritual food of the word of the living God must be absorbed into our hearts (the inner man), so that it will prosper us according to the law of faith that has been operational since the beginning of time. Determine today to transfer our operations to the law of faith in the Name of Jesus.

The Authority of God’s Word Psalms 138:2
“I will bow down toward your holy temple, And give thanks to Your Name for your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your Word according to all your name.” NASB
“I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth; for thy has magnified thy word above all thy name.” KJV
We love to sing about the revealed names of God that He used to give us intimate knowledge of his nature. But now we are told that he has magnified His Word above all His names. Jehovah, the Self-Existent One; Jehovah Shalom, The LORD is Peace; Jehovah Rapha, The LORD that heals…. Does that negate His nature of who He is? Absolutely not! His nature still defines Him, his Word expands the revelation of His nature. Take for instance, Psalm 107:20: “He Sent his Word and healed them, and delivered them from all their destructions.” We see the two revelations working together to deliver healing/restoration. When we see the combination of his revealed nature and His Word in one accord that should increase our ability to booster our confidence levels. That is the essence of this verse/message. We can take the Word of the living God and speak it forth, just as He did, we can use it to transform circumstances/situations that enable us to mature as believers. Ps 119:9-11.
He said: “I will not alter the thing that has gone forth out of my mouth; and I watch over my Word to preform it.” Why would he give us this revelation? That we may have confidence in speaking His Word into our own lives, to use in petitions/supplications/intercessions, as we come boldly to seek help in times of need. Church of the living God, we are not orphans, God speaks to us through his Word that we may thereby conduct kingdom business by speaking with confidence, not doubt, His uncompromised Words, and expecting the Word to bear fruit.
Get rid of the subtle cancer of doubt, satan introduced that in the Garden of Eden in his conversation with Eve, to get her to doubt God’s Word, he does the same thing with us. Mark 11:23 is a stark reminder of what doubt can prohibit, also James 1:6-8. Can we have absolute confidence in God’s Word? Yes!
