Hi, I’m Ty and that’s not a typo. “Clogical” is something I’ve been called and means logical with a twist of crazy. I’d like to think “crazy” is simply common sense wrapped in logic, with a smidge of unorthodox Christianity, but I’ll let you be the judge. Are you perplexed with how society has lost its way due to polarization and a lack of logic and common sense? Perhaps a dose of Clogical may be something that will help. In today's episode, I'm closing out the mini-series on Paul's statement in Galatians 3 as it relates to gender by revisiting the story of the Garden along with the story that happened before it. By this, I hope to explain the heart of God as it relates to unity and authority and show how the enemy tries to distort them to create division in all areas.

After surviving winter storm Uri, and the cold that knocked out our electricity and froze our behinds off, I'm finally releasing a new episode. In this episode, I discuss the notion of "Christian Nationalism," what Scripture has to say about that idea, and how pride fits into it. This episode will be the first in a series that will discuss pride in believers and how that has contributed to the world we see.
There's this notion among some believers that Jesus takes up our agenda no matter the cause, but does He really? Does He align Himself with our agendas? In todays episode, I want to tackle the idea of partiality and the idea of God being on anyone's side.
Occasionally, and especially when my mind is cluttered and logic fails me, I think it's a good time to shift gears and be a bit more candid. So, for this episode, I'm talking about why I decided to start this podcast and what I'm hoping to achieve with it. If anything, I hope it'll give you more insight into me as well as give me more time to work out all the topics that are bounding around in my mind. lol
If there's a truth that's universally accepted, I think it's that life and time keeps moving regardless of what's happening in our lives and all around us. And while that's true, some of us may feel stuck in the same moment, struggling with things that seem to have gone on forever. In today's episode, I hope to speak to those who are feeling overwhelmed and overcome by the relentlessness of a life that can feel so unfair. Those who are struggling with so many emotions or who have become numb due to all that we've endured the past year, and who feel as though God seems so far away.
The events of January 6, 2021 at the US Capitol will go down in the annuls of history as a day when the strength of the American experiment was rocked to its core. Still, for those of us who claim a belief in Christ, it's a day that remind us of the importance of who we believe, what we believe, and being mindful of what we allow to distort our beliefs for the sake of fantasy, politics, and fear.

There's something about community that we're all intrinsically drawn to, even those of us who could be considered "lone wolves." Each of us has a deep need for community and the benefits that true community provides but, in today's society, the definition of community has devolved more into loose associations rather than what it's meant in years past. There's actually a definition of community that carries a meaning much stronger than what we've grown accustomed to and is one that, as believers, God has and continues to call us into. As we're approaching Christmas, it's a good time to be reminded...
Can the ends ever justify the means? For many people, the answer would be 'yes.' If the outcome is so great, so much better and more preferred than the alternative, then the method(s) used to obtain that result must be seen as acceptable, or at least excusable, no matter how immoral or unethical. For those who claim Christ as Savior, should we also be of this mindset? Should we pursue or support such Faustian bargains in order to achieve political advantage or policy objectives that we feel will ensure the will of God in society? As the final days of 2020 are upon us, one of the most chaotic and difficult in the recent history of this nation, let's examine if Scripture supports this notion.
When trying to complete a puzzle, the process is so much easier when you know what the picture is. Every piece makes sense and allows you to have an idea of where each piece belongs. In life, many of us feel lost and dissatisfied because we don't know the "Big Picture" of our lives and have no clue how all the pieces of our life -- our talents, gifts, desires -- fit together; we don't know our purpose. The bigger issue we fail to realize, though, is that our lives fit into an even bigger picture and is dependent on how we relate to others, particularly as believers. In today's episode we'll discuss the big picture, our purpose as a body of believers, that Jesus prayed about and hopefully, in discovering that, will be able to discover our individual purpose as we fulfil our calling in the grand scheme of things.
Contrary to the common narrative permeating our society, our words matter; particularly for those who consider themselves believers in Christ. In today's episode, we'll break down the unfortunate words of a fellow believer that was posted on Facebook in order to break down the problem we need to address and offer a solution as well as encouragement. Our words create reality and, in these politically charges times, we must not fall into the trap that makes it easy for us take that for granted and speak contrary to our confession.
What is meant to be a means to improve the lives of the citizens of our country, politics has become the means to cause Americans to fall apart. What makes it worse is that believers, who are called to be different and unique, have fallen into the peril of politics. Today, we'll discuss the things that believers need to be aware of as it relates to politics and how we should react to them.
