PORT: Esta foi a quinta vez que tive a honra de me apresentar no Chill Out Stage do Universo Paralello Festival (Bahia,BR) e posso dizer que veio com um gosto muito especial revelando mais uma grande aventura de evolução e superação em minha carreira! Quero agradecer de coração a todos os que somaram para isso acontecer da forma tão linda como foi, principalmente: minha família, os amigos, os organizadores, os artistas, os trabalhadores, a galera sensacional que colou na hora e até quem não pôde estar presente, mas lembrou de mandar aquela mensagem positiva mesmo de longe. Tocar nesse festival tem um significado muito especial para mim, uma sensação indescritível e, para celebrar o ano novo com chave de ouro, busquei somar trazendo uma linha sonora progressiva dedicada a pureza e a elevação da alma. Viva o nosso bem mais precioso: a vida! =]

This was the fifth time that I had the honor of performing at the Chill Out Stage of the Universo Paralello Festival (Bahia, BR) and I can say that it came with a very special taste revealing yet another great evolution and overcoming adventure in my career! I would like to sincerely thank all those who contributed to make this happen as beautifully as it was, especially: my family, the organizers, the artists, the sensational crowd that stuck at the time and even those who couldn't be present, but remembered to send that one positive message even from afar. Playing at this festival has a very special meaning for me, an indescribable feeling and, to celebrate the new year with a flourish, I brought a progressive sound line dedicated to the purity and uplifting of the soul. Celebrate our most precious asset: life! =]

Um dos melhores momentos da minha vida! Fiquei extremamente animado e grato quando o Sileno me convidou para poder participar do chill out da 20ed. dessa festão tão bonita em Vitória (ES) que é a ECOLOGIC. O belíssimo entardecer de frente para a praia com a companhia das melhores pessoas, foi impossível não ser contagiado pela vibração positiva que reinava naquele ambiente. Fim de semana memorável, que com certeza refletiu totalmente na linha do som que rolou. Um pouco do trabalho que vim desenvolvendo nas minhas últimas apresentações. Espero que tenham uma boa viagem!

I was extremely lively and grateful when Silenus invited me to participate in the chill out line up of the 20ed of this so beautiful party in Vitória (ES) that is ECOLOGIC. A wonderful evening of beach with company of the finest people, it was impossible not to be touched by the positive vibe that prevailed in that stage. Memorable weekend, which certainly reflected fully in line with the sound that I played. A little bit of the work I've being developing in my latest performances. Hope you have a good trip!

"illusionists of Cotie" is the result of an extensive work of musical research realized by the chill out project named Catan Cotie which has been developed during the last three years. Seeking to explore new spaces and create new sound images, the work has based its mixings in mashup's (mixing and overlapping different sounds) of Chill Out musics together with the creation of an unique atmosphere within the history of its SETs. The experimentation, through creativity, is added to a diversity of styles present on complex mixings. The creation of sub-spaces and parallel sound scenery that dialogue, achieve a golden and illusionist character, so ephemeral and suspended,  that merges the boarders between the real and the imaginary. Rising is a good word to describe this experience that reveals part of the Cotie's magic. I hope you have a good session. Peace!

"Illusionists Of Cotie" é o reflexo de um extenso trabalho de pesquisa musical realizado pelo projeto Catan Cotie nos últimos três anos. Em busca de explorar novos ambientes e criar novas imagens sonoras, o trabalho fundamenta suas mixagens em Mashup's (mistura de músicas e sobreposição de diversos sons) de músicas de Chill Out aliado a criação de uma atmosfera única dentro da história de seus SETs. O experimentalismo, por meio da criatividade, junta-se à diversidade de estilos presentes sobre complexas mixagens. A criação de sub-espaços, e cenas sonoras paralelas que dialogam entre si, abrangem um caráter áureo e ilusionista, tão efêmero e suspenso que aproxima os eixos divisórios entre o real e o imaginário. Elevação é uma boa palavra para definir essa experiência que nos revela um pouco da magia de Cotie. Espero que tenham uma boa sessão. Paz!

The title "Each One Teach One" was inspired by my last experiences in the chill out world, where I've met other musicians, producers and Djs, exchanged a lot of information and received critics about my last releases. We discussed infos about mixing, making mashups and they introduced me about exploring the edition process on tracks cutting parts, using samples and synths. I worked hard to finish that material and I suspect that its one of my best works result using this new information and getting a professional point of view. I want to thank all my friends and everyone who is visiting the site, listening and giving feedbacks about this project. That is the most important thing for me. Everybody has something to teach Us, and We can teach something to Everyone.
