There’s something powerful about presence. Just showing up changes lives — and not just the lives of others, but our own.
Six years ago, I met Jesus in the dump in Mexico City through a woman named Olga, who showed me the radical love and heart of God. That moment forever shifted how I see presence.
These past few weeks, I’ve been reminded again. I met Jesus in Gwassi, Kenya, at an orphanage while playing, praying, and laughing with children. I met Him again in Vijayawada, India, where children rescued from human trafficking filled my heart with joy as we danced, sang, and shared in the classroom. Their faces reflected the love of Christ.
In Kolkata, I walked with the Missionaries of Charity and visited Mother Teresa’s center for lepers — the poorest of the poor, the forgotten, the dying — and yet, even there, presence shines bright.
This is what Jesus did for us: He showed up. God loves you. He calls you by name. And sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is just be present.

Each of our lives is unique and filled with up and down moments. The Saints set a great example for us, but most people believe that is not the life for them-holiness is not something they can obtain. Today I discuss how Sainthood and our call to holiness means that we recognize our true call to greatness as God's people. Through openness, perseverance, trust and going ALL IN, there is nothing that we cannot do or be with God in our lives. In this episode we share the powerful ways that Jesus Christ transforms us and gives life to us when we learn to enter deeper into a relationship with Him. You have a call on your life to be great and to do something no one else can. It's time to recognize the power of God's love and that nothing is impossible for the Lord if you allow Him to work through you.

Today is Divine Mercy Sunday & we celebrate the never ending forgiveness and merciful love of Jesus. One week after the climax of our faith was celebrated at Easter, we are given this great feast that is centered around forgiveness, showing compassion to others and being the light in a darkened world. During this episode we discuss the life of Christ, how the Blessed Mother Mary and even the disciples were both drivers and recipients of God's merciful love. We then explore some stories from my journey and how Jesus shows us true mercy sometimes in the least expected places. The Lord's example is ripe for mercy in the Gospel's and the same can be said in our lives when we look back. Now he is calling us to elicit the corporal works of mercy and to be agents for change by casting out that net of love in a world that needs transformation.

From depressed and not knowing how to live on during my high school years to finding myself in the trash pile in Mexico City— to sitting in the inner chamber at the Vatican to lead a global mission and conversing with Pope Francis —life has taught me that God’s love wins.
Each of us has purpose and value. Most of time we just need to show up. Here I share the amazing ways God has opened up new pastures to help cultivate an initiative called Hope from the Margins. For many years I was searching for ways to serve the disenfranchised, poor, disabled, and outcasts of society. Now I recognize that the person I once was and the struggles we go through as people often equips us to understand, relate to and walk with our brothers and sisters. But what is even more however is how God revealed his great love when I encounter Christ in the poor and experienced him profoundly in the dumps of Mexico City.
The margins is where Christ spent his time so now it’s no surprise that great faith, grace and blessings have been brought to me there as well. In this episode I share my personal journey and how God’s transformative power works on our hearts as he calls us to live in harmony together. It is not a matter of them and us but just us—As the Lord himself reveals in his birth in a stable as a baby named Emmanuel meaning, “God with us.”

Life is complex and there are so many things that we have going on. We have goals we are trying to achieve, we desire to become better and we want to enjoy life. All of this is good as the time clock continues to tick...However, do we really know who we are and are we showing up to uncover ourselves? Today I discuss the internal faith life and how showing up on God's doorstep allows him to open up tremendous avenues, heal from the past and become who he is calling us to be. Jesus performed many miracles because people showed up and asked him. A miracle of love happened in the feeding of the five thousand with just five loaves and two fish thanks to the little boy who came to Christ on the mountainside. What we think certainly determines a great deal in our lives. Thousands of thoughts come to us daily. There is so much discord in our society. We live in a very fractured world that has lost a sense of unity. Today we discuss the way that God calls us toe oneness, being one with him and one with each other. Coming off of the great tragedies with the horrible massacres in Buffalo & Uvalde, Texas, the U.S. needs to regain a sense of community. Jesus shares with us in the Gospel of John that we were created to be in relationship with one another and that togetherness is part of our humanity. The journey of life cannot be done alone and in order to heal we have to rally and lean on positive servant leadership. In this episode we touch on healing through communal support, making changes happen, and how working together can make a big difference to those in need.

Throughout his time on earth there were many important things Jesus said and did. However, the gift our Lord gave of himself, namely his body and his blood the night before he took on the Cross is the greatest fulfillment of that promise for Resurrection that we celebrate as a Church. During the last supper, essentially the first ever mass, Jesus Christ laid out the beautiful foundation of our holy Catholic faith. Through the breaking of the bread (his body) and drinking of wine (his blood) with the apostles, Christ gave his entire being to us. Jesus was explicit and told us to take his body and to eat it and to drink his blood so that we could receive eternal life. Our Lord commanded us to celebrate this again and again so we are filled with something far greater than physical food. By taking part in his Communion we receive soul filled nourishment for our spiritual journey. Today we discuss Jesus as the true bread of life and how by receiving the Eucharist, we become a living tabernacle of the Lord.

Food is one of the greatest comforts and sources of pleasure for us as humans. Far more than that though it is a necessity. The problem is that people don't typically treat food in the manner in which they should, which leads to a healthy life. What we consume on a daily basis literally shapes who we are and our physical health hangs on the balance. What if you began to think of food differently and tried something new. Five years ago I made a decision to go Vegan (Plant Based) and haven't looked back. Today I will unpack what's in the fridge, bring to light the benefits of a plant based diet and share my journey as a vegan. In addition I expose the detrimental dangers of eating animal bioproducts in mass proportions and how radical your life can change for now and the future by understanding what you consume. At the foot of the Cross was Mary. Her sorrow ran deep seeing her son, Jesus wounded and dying as he emptied himself for the sake of the world. Each of us spends a ton of time every day with certain people. Who we chose to share our life and time with matters. Building relationships is essential and having a few friends that you can share everything and anything with is huge. What is even more important however is having friends who are life givers and build us up. Cutting out the dead wood friendships and sifting people out so that we are surrounded by positivity is key. Friendships that emit love, forgiveness and goodness are attractive. It’s because rock solid relationships and being around those who bring out the best in us is who we are meant to spend time with. Ultimately, these people will lead us closer to God and we are also called to be this friend for others.

What matters most? There are countless rules and regulations in religion. So many people view the commandments as restrictions on life, but actually they are a roadmap to holiness. God has been replaced by a multitude of things and yet He thirsts for our hearts continuously. Greatness is something that people aspire to. Being the best and doing whatever it takes to get there is the mentality of many, even if it means stepping on others on the way to the top. God is calling us into His vineyard. He is inviting us in because He desires to transform us into humble servants. In Matthew 20 we hear about the laborers and call to mind that God asks us to come just as we are. Some people go right away and others find the Lord later in life. The time doesn't matter and it is the Lord who works in our lives and is able to use us to do great things. Remember, Jesus came for all and He came "not to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:28)

Life is busy and there are a million things on our minds. The challenges you face might seem impossible to overcome at times. What you should do when facing a big decision can be daunting. Every year we have 40 days or so to prepare for the resurrection. This year make it count. Let’s do some things differently. Let’s allow God to enter into our lives like never before. My challenge is for you to fully invite Jesus into your heart. Spend time with him daily in prayer and by doing some acts of service or spiritual things you haven’t in the past. Be open to and aware of the Holy moments of life. Receive the abundance of God’s grace and give Christ your complete self. Then the one who raised Jesus from the grave will give new life to you!

Life has so much to it. We face mountain & valley moments, experiencing a tremendous amount on a daily basis. This journey can be tough and yet so beautiful at the same time. Through it all, God desires to walk with us. Jesus wants us to be filled with his love so that we are feeling whole and complete. Then we can share that love with others to build up the Kingdom of God. Our lives have great value and depth. It is time for us to receive Christ's love by spending time with him in prayer and then to build on this powerful relationship with God who will transform our life. Jesus calls us each by name and desires to reveal to us the great purpose we came into this world for. That purpose is to love and to share God's love with others in our own unique way.
