This 2016 comedy/horror audio production is a tribute to Small-Town America (as portrayed by sitcoms in the 1950s and 60s). A modern-day Jonathan Harker searches for Dracula, who is rumored to be hiding in an eerily familiar small town in the Deep South.
This is the Pocket Universe production of Michael Wilson's adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's Masque of the Red Death. This production won a Mark Time Award, the 2016 Golden Ogle for the Best Horror Audio Production of the Year.
Performed live at the 2004 Workshop presented by the National Audio Theater Festivals, this comedy (written and directed by Michael Wilson) follows the fishing-trip adventures of some aging Hollywood A-listers (Jimmy Stewart, George C. Scott, Gregory Peck, Kirk Douglas, Marlon Brando, Charles Bronson, Sean Connery, Rod Steiger, and Katherine Hepburn!), all voiced by the phenomenal Randy Story.
This lushly produced piece of dark audio theater was recorded on location in 2002. It was written by Michael Wilson, directed by Michael Wilson and Bill Oakley, and produced by Bill Oakley. Although it is essentially a supernatural story, it deals with the pain and madness that can result from unresolved grief.
Simon Jones (the ORIGINAL Arthur Dent in the BBC's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy) called this play "deliciously creepy."
