For many years, I was caught up in the thought that failing at my first big dream meant that was it for me.
I started doing survival jobs that did not have anything to do with my formal education. Suspending my Ph.D. after about 2 years took me back to ground zero because all I had done for the past 28 years of my life was study.
Failure is a state of mind that if not handled with care can destroy ones' personality. It took me to acceptance, goal setting, revamping my self-confidence, sacrifice, resilience, and vulnerability to come to the realization that I can start all over again and be my best version. Episodes in this podcast will include real-life experiences and lessons learned, chats with people with a similar story so that listeners will have a wide variety of content to draw from.
This is a learning process for us all and so deliberations based on questions and concerns will be discussed as well. This is a medium for us to learn how we can be audible and be our own best versions.

Kobe Brian is a supporter of the 80 20 movement in Cameroon whose main campaign is about promoting the consumption of Cameroonian content. They talked about how the 80-20 movement was pushing for Cameroonians to patronise local content and the impact it would have on the entertainment industry in Cameroon.
Kobe Brian is also pushing for the integration of Bitcoin in the Cameroonian economy. He explained why he thinks Bitcoin could be a key instrument in the liberation of the Cameroonian economy. He wrote the ‘Bitcoin paper’ a detailed write-up that explains why and how to use Bitcoin to the benefit of the whole Cameroonian economy. He explained the basic idea behind Bitcoin and demonstrated how to use it by sending Ms. Solange some Bitcoin.
Brian also talked about how they can boost the Cameroonian movie industry through proper distribution channels. He explains how he thinks the movie industry could capitalize on the distribution problem in the country. They talked about what could be done to get popular movie streaming platforms like Netflix to stream Cameroonian movies.

Mary Asaba, artistically known as ASABA, is a female Cameroonian Afrosoul/Afropop singer, songwriter, and state registered nurse. Her music is soulful Afropop, with clear influences from Makossa and Njang. As a State Registered Nurse, she came into music by doing backing vocals for top Cameroonian acts such as Daphne, Mr. Leo, Salatiel, etc.
In 2020, she got signed to Starfish Entertainment which launched her career as a lead performing artist with the release of her single Yele, and since then has released a couple of singles and her first official EP in 2022 titled ”LIGHTER”, which featured acts such as Mr. Leo, Mic Monsta, Locko, Kameni and Cleo Grae.
Her biggest challenge growing up as a young girl was insecurity, not feeling beautiful enough in her own skin and it limited her passion and drive. Music became her safe haven and her voice. Through music, she aims to be that voice that reaches out to people, be their strength, hope, and comfort, and encourages them to embrace themselves in whatever form, shape, and size.

Lilian Shulika Tata was born in the Northwest Region of Cameroon, Nso, and a mother of 2 very precious girls who inspired her book “In Mommy’s Cloud”. She holds three master’s degrees. She’s completing her Ph.D. thesis in Information Technology, focusing on Augmented Reality.
She has carried out quite a few research projects and blogs about technology and careers in tech. She started her career as a Diplomat but her research led her to the world of technology, where she is now settled on Cloud Technologies and uses her knowledge to volunteer and teach students.
She is passionate about family, education, technology, and Artificial intelligence. A very creative and adventurous person, always eager to learn and share her knowledge with the world. It was amazing listening to her share her story, her experience, and her inspiration.

Anna Mbengam was born and raised in Cameroon, though she spent most of her life living in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating from high school, she signed up for the Army Reserve and simultaneously enrolled in her first year of college. She was recruited to run track and field at American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts. It was there that she studied Political Science and Criminal Justice. Upon her completion of Basic Training with the Army Reserve, Anna was introduced to the game of rugby. It soon became her newfound love. She was so infatuated with the sport that she focused her attention on playing rugby and maintaining a balanced student-athlete life. It was during this time of her life that she fully came to understand the importance of focus, commitment, and courage. Anna realized the complexities and benefits of teamwork and collaboration when dealing with complicated circumstances on the field. The rugby scrum is a microcosm for the development of a cohesive team. All players in the scrum bring their own individual abilities to work together to achieve a common objective against strong competition. Anna recognized that this same method of cohesiveness could be used in any team activity, whether in sports, business, or the workplace. After graduating from college, Anna was unsure of what kind of career she wanted to pursue. She was introduced to the idea of becoming a Scrum Master, and though she chuckled when she first heard the role’s title, she was curious to learn more. She did her own research and joined the Agile Community of Practice, where she networked and got her first Scrum Master position. She was delighted and anxious to begin this journey due to her timid nature. She has always wanted to share the information she wished she had received while breaking into the field with others. Gabriel Njinimbot grew up in a small West African village in the Northwestern Region of Cameroon in West Africa. Though his parents were relatively poor, and educated only to second-grade level, they saved enough money to send their children to school. Though life was a struggle, Gabriel completed university with a Bachelor of Educational Administration in Cameroon and a few years later immigrated to the US where he secured work in the IT field and later completed a degree at Concord Law School.
Gabriel is a serial entrepreneur, has authored 5 books, and above all a strategist who loves to solve problems. In this episode, I had the pleasure of chatting with Nancy Khiki. Nancy is a mom, a wife, an artist, a biomedical scientist (Microbiologist), and a mental health advocate. She shares with us some of the challenges she faced in 2021 and how she handle them.
Nancy also talks about her experience with postpartum psychosis which drives her interest in learning more and creating awareness around mental health in her community. She shares tips on what to look for if you are a new parent and how Mindset Boulevard is helping her recovery.
Nancy also reminds us that health is wealth. In order for you to be able to take care of your loved ones, you must first take care of yourself. Her art is amazing.

In this episode, I have Nadege on the mic. She shares with us some things that are personal to her intending to learn and to educate. Nadege is a victim of sexual assault and recently turned on the camera on her Facebook page to talk about what she has been holding onto for years.
What triggered her she says was a guy who trivialized sexual assault by asking the victim if she even knew what sexual assault meant. She also talks about her handsome autistic son Levi and how she is using her Facebook page - My Life, My Story, My Sons, to educate and to share her journey.

In this episode, I am honored to be talking to Asangwe Cho. Chocho as he is commonly called, is an Entrepreneur, a Trader a Trading coach, and an aspiring Investment and Project Funding Professional. In this Episode, I am honored to have a chat with Raoul Fossi. Raoul is a proud child of Bandjoun, Cameroon with imaginary ties to the Nso land. He is a Mechanical Engineer and owns a Drone Service Company in Douala, Cameroon.
