So here it is - I am back after what certainly can be classified as an unreasonably long delay. While I won't offer excuses for my continued poor production and release schedule, I will offer an explanation. I recently made a change professionally, and this was a great decision and a great move for me. This along with my family responsibilities as a single father have really been occupying a majority of time. Things are looking like they are settling down now, and I thank you in advance for your understanding and support!

Well you sure get the full compliment of stories in this episode... I mean, I would have found it interesting to get some marijuana edibles from the snack box in grade school and all, but no such luck. I typically find myself looking at food stories quite a bit. I always find it interesting what other people eat and how things are different in other regions of the United States and in other countries. The top ten list here does not disappoint! So here I am back again with another collection of oddities. While there are a fewer number of stories this episode, a couple of them are longer than usual, so it all evens out in the end. So here we are... and where have we been? Well, I cannot use COVID nor the recent crazy political climate we have experienced here in the States as excuses. This one is on me. My day job has kept be extraordinarily busy, to the point that I was working quite a few evenings to get caught up on some time sensitive stuff. Of course, there are the extra work projects that I am a part of that have been eating at my time too. Nonetheless, here I am... back again! Aside from the usual assortment of crazy news, that you have come to know and regret, I was also able to add a personal story. My son and I tried the Firey Five Jelly Belly selections... we tried each flavor together - from Sriracha all the way up to Carolina Reaper! They were pretty spicy, and if I get my son's permission, I'll post the video of his reaction to the Carolina Reaper Jelly Belly here on the site!

Thanks for taking the plunge and listening to the show! I am going to take a moment and give a brief introduction. Really, if you are interested in weird, odd, and bizarre news stories with a generous helping of miscellaneous tidbits, News with Bill is the show for you! There is a good chance that I will throw some randomness in here and there as well. Here what you can expect to episode:

Obviously, I had to kick off the new show with a story about poop. There is a circus in Germany that is selling jars of the brown gold to unsuspecting people… well, I guess they are suspecting because these people are ordering the stuff on purpose.

Of course then we have a couple of real gems – a guy that claimed he was using the two dozen pipe bombs he was caught with to remove tree stumps, and the Nazi that shot a woman several times in the back that stole a flag in his front yard. Odd, I know. Since when do Nazis overreact about things?

There are truly some odd magazines out there that you can actually subscribe to, and they cover a wide range of subjects – animals, corpses, industrial equipment, end even porta potties!

I found details about a railroad selling rocks make money, and read about a couple of guys that got into a violent argument over a video game.

And what is the best way to close out the episode? A kid shoving a Lego up his nose, only to have it come out a couple of years later.
