My cousin in law Joe and I had the opportunity to attend 3 of 4 days at the 2022 Sacramento Aftershock festival. We missed day three (emo day) due to me having a pre scheduled show myself Saturday night. This is a long podcast, meant to broken up...but I decided just to post this bad boy as is. No edits. What's up! I have a fire beer i will share on the show today. A double dry hopped triple IPA at 10% abv called Passive Light.
I got the hook up from Hop Gardens on this Hop Butcher IPA. It’s called pneumatic tube room and is 6.75% abv. This brewery is from Bedford Park Illinois and was a collab with Perennial Artisan ales.

Fidens Denial and Error double IPA
I got another whale from Fidens that sits at 8% abv featuring strata hops. You know how it be, turning it up again. This beer is top notch. I cracked it open and the aromas, right out the gate and in my face, are bubblegum and cotton candy.
The taste is similar to the aroma. This beer is not overly yeasty, sweet and subtle with the hop finish. Out of all the Fidens beer I had, this one is definitely at the top of the list. Cheers fuckers, take care.

The North Park Beer collab with Electric
I find myself with a slew of new beers, waiting to be enjoyed (pounded). It’s amazing what some money can get you, like a ton of beer. I had a lot to choose from, and Im starting off with this killer collab with North Park beer co and Electric brewing co.
This triple IPA, “Electric Park” is triple dry hopped and sits at a hefty 10.5% abv. Pillowy, sweet, slightly bitter and hazy AF. This hazy triple is definitely a contender amongst the GOATS of the haze world. Prove me wrong.

Tripping Animals trio - three old ass sour beers
I dug these guys out of the back of my fridge. They say sour beers don’t go “bad” like hoppy beers as there aren’t as many hops to carry the beer, and hops tend to “degrade” in flavor over time.
Anyways, these beers are from Tripping Animals and are about a year old. I will do three separate podcasts on them. They are all 6% abv, so likely using the same base of malt and yeast, but only using different adjuncts.
Golden Poison Dart Frog, 6% abv. A sour ale made with orange, key lime, tangerine, blood orange and vanilla.
You can probably imagine what these beers should taste like; sweet n sour.

Treehouse brewing’s “Andrew” pale ale
Another Treehouse beer. A dinky abv at 5.2% abv, which is about average for a pale ale. However, I am so used to these double IPA’s I hope the quality / taste outweighs the low abv.
Some of my buddies say I never talk shit on beers, so I will right here. I don’t like the can art LOL

Fiden’s - Eugene’s Axe double IPA
Well, I finally scored some more Fidens beer. This is probably one of the most hyped micro breweries right now for beer geeks. Mostly because they recently started canning 16 ouncers vs 32 oz crowlers only.
Eugene’s Axe is a double IPA made with citra and galaxy hops. It is 8.5% abv. Obviously, it is delicious and hazy. And hard to get if you don’t visit the brewery in Colonie, NY. There’s my flex LOL

Ingenious Brewing Co Bring Donuts stout
This beer is from the lone star state of TX, Humble TX to be exact. This beer is an 8.5% abv stout with guess what?? Coffee and donuts! This brewery bears the independent craft beer alliance symbol, which is always a big plus in my books!
This beer has minimal coffee taste. It has notes of vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar, bitter chocolate and sweet notes. It doesn’t taste like an 8.5% abv beer, it flows more like a 6.5% beer.
Im not a huge fan of stouts, but this one passes the test.

Haw River Cultural Divide sour kettled saison
This brewery is from Saxapahaw, North Carolina! IDK if I had a beer from that state. The beer is a “sour cherry turnover, kettle-soured saison,” which is basically short for a sour beer. The beer was not soured by bacteria, but by lactic acid, which is a much quicker method of making sour beers, resulting in less complexity.
This beer is made with carolina culture yogurt, lactose, montmorency/balaton cherries and tahitian vanilla beans - DAMN. It is a nice 6.2% abv brew.

A Treehouse party! Little Machine and Juli-ish pale ales
I had to post these beers before I drank them. As you know, Treehouse is a goat amongst craft beer nerds and enthusiasts. They also have a wide variety of styles to fit anyones’ palette.
These beers are both Pale Ales. Little Machine is 5.5% abv while Juli-ish is 5.2% abv.

This one is a banger at 10% abv. If you dont know about electric brewing, get it~ 100% recommended by yours truly.
Green Cheek Swim Test TIPA
Green Cheek is a dope brewery if you don’t know by now. They make a lot of different styles, but their haze game is on point. This beer, Swim Test, is a TRIPLE IPA, which means the abv hovers around 10%. Delish.

I scored a few Other Half NYC beers and I wanted to share them on my podcast / blog with ya. This one is called Raspberry Snowball Crunchee. It is an imperial granola berliner weisse at 7.4% abv.
It has hella ingredients / adjuncts including raspberry, chocolate, coconut, toasted coconut, maple, vanilla, cinnamon and milk sugar. WOW.

Slice delivering some Star Wars themed beer. This beer is a nitro coffee milk stout at 7% abv. It has lactose, which can give some people diarrhea and will also sweeten the beer up.
The nitro is a nitrogen infused (vs. CO2) to give the beer a Guiness like smoothness, hence the Frother pun.

Harland brewing is one of those breweries that has not blown up yet, but deserves recognition – because all their stuff has been good to date. This brewery is from San Diego, Ca. The beer, Waimea Haze is an IPA at 7% abv.
You all know how much I love Humble Sea (from Santa Cruz). I just joined their Heavy Hitters club and got this beer, Mumble Memory. It is a hop fused TIPA at 10% abv. I already drank most of the 8 pack, so I know it’s good but I will review it on my podcast.

Alvarado Street is a brewery from Salinas, Ca. They have been putting out some fucking fire lately, so get some if you haven’t yet.
This beer, One Giant Leap, is a trip IPA at 10%, kicking off this Friday proper like.
Mortalis brewing is a brewery from Avon, NY. They are also another very hot brewery that is pretty damn hard to find in Cali – this beer is called HYDRA and it is 7% abv.
It is a fruited sour made with key lime, raspberry and sweet cherry. This should be a delectable delicacy to warm up my system for a heavy night of solo binge drinking.

Resident Culture is a brewery from Charlotte, NC. This beer is called Oversoul. It is an IPA at 7% abv. This beer is the first I have had from this brewery.

The first time having beers from these breweries. The first one is called More Hops from Tombstone brewing company, from Tombstone, AZ. It is 7.5% abv.
The second beer is from Four City brewing company. It is a double IPA at 8% abv called Hedison’s Phonograph. This brewery is from Orange, NJ.

The next one is from J Wakefield. This beer is called All Green Everything. It is a TIPA also at 10.5% abv! I finna pound some electrolytes tonight and tomorrow morning to curb a hangover!
