The 20th/21st of June is the Summer Solstice or Midsummer this year! (Depending on where you live) Make the best of it and have some fun, alone or with friends.
My Solstice will relaxed, since I have a lot to do at this time of year and need the downtime. But we will have something nice to eat and some ice cream. The last week or so has been variable, some rain, a lot of wind. But there have been some sunny days.
It’s still “early dusk” here at night, but you can’t see the actual Sun, as you could where I grew up.

If you’re in the southern hemisphere, have a lovely Samhain
Have a lovely Imbolc (or Lammas/Lughnasadh if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere)!Some call it Imbolc, some Imbolg, some say Candlemass and some Brigid’s Day. Regardless of the name you use for it, it’s the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, a cross-quarter celebration. It falls between the 2nd & 7th of February when calculated as the midpoint between the astronomical Winter Solstice and the astronomical Spring Equinox, in 2024 it falls on February 4th. But a lot of people celebrate on the 1st or the 2nd. So I’m posting this today, so everyone gets the greeting before their celebration.
If you celebrate this holiday, whenever you do and however you do it. Have a wonderful celebration.

There are many different names for the midwinter celebration and many different dates around the World. Personally, I choose to call it Jul and celebrate on the Winter Solstice.
The Winter Solstice for the Northern Hemisphere falls on the 21st of December this year. Here are some of the times:
