I’m one of those people that love basketball, but I absolutely despise hearing perspective on CERTAIN THINGS from non-athletes. If you didn’t lace up or play some kind of sport on a professional level and even in high school, I have a hard time listening to your opinion. Only because I feel like you don’t understand. It’s the equivalent of supervisors in positions when they haven’t even done the job. They lack understanding because they haven’t experienced. It can be like this in relationships too. Is it benefiting us from getting relationship advice from the unsuccessful person who is dating or the person who is married, or the person not married. Stick around with your girl Ang and let’s talk love!
Despite what the popular may tell you, I promise you that you will not have relationship success without both compromising and sacrificing. A trend I’ve been seeing lately that has me in a frenzy is when a blog posts a celebrity divorce or separation and commenters say, “nothing lasts forever…” or “see, this is why I’m never getting married.” Why are we judging our relationships based off of celebrity relationships? I’m going to tell you the truth about this so, stick around with your girl Ang and let’s talk love!
Most of us think we love ourselves in the general sense of the word. But what does it truly mean to love ourselves? As I keep living and growing, I realized that there is still parts of me that needs work. I am not ashamed to admit that. If you aren’t either, stick around with your girl Ang and let’s talk love!
