The Successful Millennials Podcast is BACK for Season 2!!!!
We start with Chandler Bolt as our guest, who will bring us tips on how to focus in on your discipline to conquer insurmountable tasks.
At the top of the list of things that seem insurmountable to the creative mind tends to be writing a book. Many view it as a 3-5 year commitment and they'll "get to it" when the time is right or they are less busy. But as we all know, life only gets busier the older we get and the more responsibilities we have. So how can we actually write a book?
Chandler's company, the Self-Publishing School, has helped new authors publish 6,000 books over the last 7 years, and has written frameworks to help simplify the process so you actually get it done.
The main core of writing a book can be broken down into the MORE method:

Join Sammy Warrayat and Corbin Elliott as they discuss how to deal with anxiety. Corbin is a psychological strategist and founder of Affect Media, focusing on creating music to make one feel better. In this episode, he narrates his story when he was at his lowest point, and he coped with it.
Breaking Point
Corbin developed anxiety because he pursued the wrong degree in college. Having ignored that feeling resulted in his anxiety manifesting on his body. He had muscle spasms so bad that it got to the point he was stuck in bed for a week. While that experience was already bad for him, it had a silver lining: it sparked his interest in psychology. After that, he realized how important it was in the context of living an enjoyable life. With the internet’s power to connect to the masses, Corbin had an idea to distribute what he knew in order to help others going through anxiety as well. To ensure he influences people in a positive way, Corbin follows the rule of applying it to himself first. In doing so, he understands how one thing works, and it does not affect other people if things do not go as planned. The experience made Corbin stronger, and with that, he helped others overcome anxiety.
Anxiety Described
Anxiety, the way Corbin looks at it, is having a circle of danger and a circle of fear. They are not always the same thing. Now, the thing is, anxiety is sometimes there for a reason; if one has anxiety about jumping off a cliff, that is a good thing. In this case, the danger and fear overlap because jumping off a cliff will hurt. Yet, a lot of times, the body is designed to survive but not to be happy. That is the problem with anxiety – the thing that makes a person happy is perceived as dangerous. Corbin explains that it is powerful to leverage perspective because it helps understand where the fear and danger zone do not line up. With that, capitalize on that opportunity because that will make one happy.
About Corbin Elliott:
Corbin Elliott is a psychological strategist. In other words, he leverages analytical, cause-and-effect problem solving to facilitate a higher degree of emotional well-being and life satisfaction. His tactics are systems-based and rooted in self-observed and external data-driven applications.
Through his company, “Peace and Purpose,” Corbin writes books and produces a podcast to show his audience that they don’t need to settle for a life that is less than the one they are capable of living.

This episode covers the Mental Health category.
Join Sammy Warrayat and Ted Phaeton as they talk about his journey with entrepreneurship, mental health, and personal growth. Ted is a meteorologist and anchor by profession. In this episode, he expounds on the story that made him the man he is today.
Going Live
Being an anchor on live television bears responsibility because things that are said cannot be taken back. It is far different from a pre-recorded podcast, as told by Ted, because edits can be made before releasing an episode. Learning from his mentors in the business, Ted had two things as advice: know the subject matter and trust thyself. Knowing gives confidence because knowledge is power. Ted compares going live as addressing one’s insecurities, as opposed to recording that is sitting with insecurities longer. When on-air, one has no choice; there is no turning back. Despite that, Ted did what he could to flourish in his career. In the end, he is far more comfortable and finds it easier doing things live than recording them.
Man Up
No man is a template. Everyone has their differences, but a pattern Ted saw was that men loved helping each other. The thing that prevents men from doing so is the expectation of how men should act as put up by society. From experience, and in an effort to change the narrative of how men should be, Ted’s advice is to be the vulnerable one. He likens it to high school football: everyone knows who the players are, but girls dig the guys with the most scruffed-up jersey. He explains that showing those dented armors and still standing up means surviving to tell the story. That is the same with vulnerabilities because it shows that one has stood their ground besides trials.
About Ted Phaeton:
Ted Phaeton has a Degree in Broadcast Meteorology along with a professional certificate in Geographic Information Systems. He is experienced in event planning and promotion, supervised and trained staff, delivered customer service for an amusement and recreation facility for four consecutive seasons. In addition, Ted has held the position of treasurer for the UAlbany Volleyball team, actively involved in community service and awareness campaigns as a member of the national fraternity of Alpha Chi Rho at the University at Albany.

Join Sammy Warrayat and Sae’Von Springer as they discuss cryptocurrency, blockchain, and the future of decentralized finance. Sae’Von is the founder of Native Assets, a blockchain firm focused on providing university-level education.
Security Features
Blockchain boasts its immutability and verifiability. To put it in simple terms, Sae’Von compares it to a computer that only those with access can edit files. It is the same with blockchain technology. It cannot be edited without permission, and if somebody does have permission, everyone in the company can see it. For cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, all transactions taking place can be verified in real-time, depending on the blockchain’s consensus mechanism. Blockchain technology in itself is secure, but there are a few more levels of measure for added security. Because there have been instances when Bitcoin and Ethereum were hacked, Sae’Von says it was the way the smart contract was designed. It is the protocol that had holes in its code, leaving it vulnerable to exploitation. It is not Bitcoin or Ethereum that is exploited per se, but the smart contract with an error in the code.
Scalability Problems
Issues regarding scalability in cryptocurrency, especially Ethereum, are due to the number of people using it, according to Sae’Von. In his opinion, it strikes the best balance at this point to be decentralized and have sufficient throughput. He compared Ethereum to Solana, that while the latter is much faster and cheaper to use, it is very centralized than the former. As much as there are issues with Ethereum, Sae’Von is confident that the blockchain is working on solutions with favorable outcomes. With other larger companies choosing it over other blockchains, everyone is still in a good position from a fundamental technology standpoint.
About Sae’Von Springer:
Sae’Von Springer founded Native Assets to empower people with the knowledge and tools required to achieve “blockchain literacy.” As a life-long tech enthusiast and student of history, he grasped the complexities of blockchain and cryptocurrency, foreseeing its broader societal implications. Being an investor and trader from legacy markets, he understood and appreciated the unique financial products and services powered by smart contracts and decentralized protocols.

Join Sammy Warrayat and Kyle Gillette as they discuss his framework for leadership. Kyle is an ICF-certified coach, behavioral analyst, and owner of Gillette Solutions, a coaching and consulting organization. In this episode, he shares how he coaches people for personal and professional development.
Leadership Framework
Kyle wanted to make an impact the same way his mentor did. The business leader he worked for had a men’s mentoring program in India to help 18 to 25-year-old men get back on track. Kyle’s mentor had that program bankrolled, retired at 58, and had run successful businesses. So, having worked under that for eight years, Kyle started his business and developed a leadership framework of his own – the SAGE Leadership Framework. Kyle loved acronyms because it is easy to memorize. SAGE stands for self-awareness, accountability, growth, and empowerment. Kyle uses this framework to help his clients build powerful self-awareness in their life and business, create extreme accountability to achieve big goals, dreams, and results with a growth mindset that fosters empowerment for others so they can have the most influence possible.
Building Clarity
Clarity is challenging to get, and Kyle’s solution is to take feedback from other people. Questions are the best feedback because it makes someone think differently and engage the subconscious much more powerful than being told what to do or what they see. So Kyle says to ask great questions, and by that, he means to skip asking “why” questions. Instead, the “what” and “how” questions are those that must be focused on. Another way to get clarity is through writing. Journaling puts one’s thoughts on paper. By doing so, those thoughts can be seen from a third-party perspective. Thus it can be a great way to measure growth.
About Kyle Gillette:

Join Sammy Warrayat and Jerry Fu as they discuss how to come up with conflict resolutions. Jerry is a leadership coach working with Asian-American professionals. In this episode, he shares tips on sorting things out when conflicts arise.
Set Boundaries
There is such a thing as unhealthy conflict, according to Jerry. It is when expectations are not met that consequences must be enforced. For example, a person whose tardiness is habitual must be given sanctions to break the habit. Jerry says that when no consequence is given, that person will lose respect for the leader. On the other hand, there is a healthy conflict that when something comes up, the people involved fix it quickly, which makes it feel like the conflict was never there in the first place. Jerry emphasizes the importance of setting boundaries, especially with conflicts, because it will be the defining point of the relationship. Nice people are often taken advantage of for not giving a consequence; that is why ironing things out is a must. It sets the boundary that the habit should be stopped. Conflict is always involved in a healthy relationship, but the difference is that it can be dealt with in a way that allows people to be honest without being disrespectful.
Resolving Conflict
Conflicts are not the same and differ depending on circumstances. Despite this, Jerry has developed a general approach to dealing with any conflict regardless of the situation, summarized into four Cs: shut the comfort, get curious, collaborate, and find closure.
About Jerry Fu:
Jerry Fu is a leadership coach. He works with Asian-American professionals on their careers and life journeys. He focuses on resolving clients’ conflicts at work, in culture, and within themselves. His services include one-on-one coaching, group workshops, and keynote presentations.
Jerry completed the CoachRice Leadership Certificate Program in the spring of 2020. He is an ICF-certified coach and certified talent optimization consultant with Predictive Index.

Join Sammy Warrayat and Sol Girouard as they discuss blockchain and data modeling. Sol is a mathematical economist, data scientist, quant, and the CEO and founder of Data Innovations Lab. In this episode, she sheds light on what blockchain really is and everything they do related to machine learning.
What Really Is Blockchain?
Almost everyone equates blockchain to cryptocurrency, but Sol says otherwise. Blockchain is the base for everything known as distributed ledger technology (DLT) or decentralized ledger. Cryptocurrency is just one of the functions that can be given to a blockchain. Sol says that in a company, it is very smart to have a blockchain to work on a clear function or to add multiple functions per ledger because, in that way, it is clean. A lot of good usable data can also be taken from it without doing extra data processing. There are private and public chains, and whatever happens on one side must also happen to the other side, just like an accounting ledger. It also has a consensus that nodes are peers or blocks, so they have to say and approve the identity of whoever does the transaction, which makes excellent use of blockchain for identity protection. The level of security differs between private and public chains, but both have benefits and uses depending on the functions.
Domain Knowledge
Blockchain is only one component, but not all data go into the chain; there have to be other data sources. A data scientist cannot work on every data set because they are not knowledgeable about it, so Sol highlights that domain knowledge is necessary. Data science is a field of intersection and being proficient in coding algorithms, deep learning, and knowing statistics is not enough. A data scientist should also have expertise aside from data science itself as it solves clear points. All of this comes to play. If the data scientist does not know where the questions are assessed from, they cannot perform the models properly nor acquire the skills needed to make them intersect. Having no knowledge from a field the data is extracted from results in wrong insights. Thus, an area of concentration is required even if one can handle large data very well.
About Sol Girouard:
Sol graduated top of her class from Harvard University and holds Academic Teaching Fellow positions for Data Science courses at Harvard’s Engineering School—SEAS, Institute of Applied Computer Science, and Harvard Extension School. She has judged the University of Chicago Financial Mathematics Master Program Graduating Competition.
Sol is the CEO and founder of Data Innovation Labs, a full-service data science and decision intelligence consulting group deploying 4IR technologies and implementing digital transformation across business verticals. She is also Blockchain APAC venture Laclary’s founding partner and holds Data Science Advisory positions in international financial and 4IR firms. Sol was the chief economist and head of Fundamental and Quantitative Research at Trevinci Capital Partners—liquid Ag Hedge Fund. She was the managing partner and head quant for Oracle Management—a proprietary global macro trading firm.
Outline of the Episode:

This episode is not with one guest, but 3! The Donis brothers (Jeffery, Kerwin, and Kenneth) are all in their early 20s who grew from brothers to partners in their ever growing real estate empire. Their whole driving force is to retire their single mother who worked so hard to raise them while working full time.
The Donis Brothers investment group started out with wholesaling, and had to deal with a TON of rejection. They each cold-called 10 hours a day for 6 months without getting a deal. That's over 3,500 hours of work, tens of thousands of calls before getting their first deal! If that isn't the definition of discipline and perseverance, I don't know what is.
Now they've scaled their wholesaling business and into commercial real estate, and they just closed on a 138 unit building shortly after recording this episode, so big things are coming.

Too many people have experienced eating disorders. It's not talked about enough, and when it does it's brushed aside because it's not a physical disorder that you can see like a broken arm. Throw in social media and the unattainable beauty standard, and this problem has grown in the last decade. That's why we need to bring awareness and solutions, and this next guest does just that.

Gunther Mueller, is a renowned speaker and business coach, who has also been around the medical industry and the mindset world for years.
We go into detail of the 5 step Magnetic Mind Method, and explain why an important step to achieving whatever you want is to believe you can do it and then visualize it happening, 2 things I think a lot of us suffer from omitting in our process.
While some of it may seem really out there, I think the principles of knowing what you want and who you are (Gunther calls this true choice) are imperative to motivate yourself to take the first step, and then get the ball rolling in a sense.

I think learning how to set boundaries in a respectful way will help our generation with removing the ghosting, social remorse, and help you live the life you truly want to.
This can extend to that feeling that you can't be open and up front with your parents or siblings because of them judging you. This causes you to hide your true personality to your own flesh and blood, which is not a great way to build quality relationships that last with those who are supposed to be closest to you. Boundary setting can help here as well.
We go over how to set boundaries and how to say No when needed so that you can avoid getting taken advantage of and build more quality relationships. There's definitely a way to view and phrase things so that you don't offend those you're close to as well.

Ever heard of Amazon Re-selling? Dropshipping? FBA? E-commerce business that actually can scale? Are you worried about the saturation of the market and that there's not enough profit to make a living off of it? Scared of the back office stuff to make it work?
If you're curious about any of these, then this is the episode for you. This epsiode's guest, Admir Zlatic, is the product selector and branding expert of Agent Ananas, where he has helped make consistent growth year over year by being extremely stringent on product selection and customer service.
We go into detail of what Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is, the value it holds as a seller, and how to be strategic about setting up your virtual store. We also go into some myth-busting, including the age-old profitability concerns of reselling, time commitment to scaling, market saturation (everyone and their mother seems to do this now), and the fear that high-ticket items like iPhones are the only thing that make money on these platforms.
Whether you are looking to build a relatively passive Multiple Stream of Income (MSI) - a key component of success in the Money category - or scale it full time like Admir, the tips we discuss here make this a must listen!

Most of of us cringe when we hear the word "network" and "content creation", but it's a huge part of the Relationship category. If you're not surrounding yourself with people that encourage you to get better, while you also help them improve, then it's tough to expect yourself to grow! That's why I am happy to bring to you an interview I had with Jessica Wise, who co-founded Audacity Magazine and Events alongside Mansi Tanna with the intent to build a platform to highlight millennial owned businesses and work together.
We go in detail on why Audacity Magazine and Events was created, and how they were able to build an open environment to encourage growth, rather than one that is toxic and comparative such as the elevator pitch contest where everyone can pitch their business ideas and have judges/scorecards to support and give pointers of how to make it even more . Even throughout COVID, Audactiy's ability to shift seamlessly to remote hangouts and still be engaging is a testament to their focus to making the networking and relationship building fun!
We also get into what defines "content", in a day and age where everyone seems to be doing trendy or catchy things, how do you stick out? We talk about SEO algorithms in different platforms as well, for those who are trying to build a brand. We also talk about how content can be a good thing, as it takes forms in writing, music, and even acting, which Jessica does as well. It's a great testament to the fact that if you know your purpose/passion, you can develop seemingly different career paths that don't seem related to the outside eye.

In this episode, I'm excited to bring to you guys a conversation with my brother, who doubles as a big inspiration to myself personally, Adel Warrayat! I'm especially excited to bring him on to talk about his experience with stocks, options, what drives him, why values and knowing who you are is imperative to detailing your roadmap to success, and more!
This was definitely a much longer episode than normal, and we dive into many of the categories, but a concerted focus on Money and Career/Purpose. Adel was a Director of Portfolio analytics up until February of this year, when he retired from corporate America and began running Warrayat Capital.
We talk about the stock market and the 3 pillars of what makes a good investor. Again, we are NOT certified financial advisors, we just want to share what we do and greatly encourage everyone to do their own research.

This episode is based on setting up the long game in the Money category. We're going to be talking a little bit about the stock market, the difference is all of the retirement accounts, and what brokerages to use and the differences between them.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a licensed financial advisor, so stock advice will NOT be talked about, more about what different plans to do. You absolutely need to assess your financial risk level and work with a financial advisor if you do not want to do the research to pick your own stocks. I use the stock market to the extent I understand it and continue to learn more. Understanding your risk tolerance, financial goals, and time commitment is imperative in order to have a chance at the market long term.

There are a few buzzwords that get thrown around a lot when it comes to success. I want to tackle what I truly believe are the 3 most important traits and skills that can be learned that to me, have the largest value when applied to any of the 5 categories of success. The Big 3 is Discipline, Personal Accountability, and Motivation.
Discipline is defined as the willpower to stick to your plan, to carry out your decisions and wishes, and having the unwavering strength to have self-restraint..
Accountability is defined as the willingness to accept responsibility for the outcomes of your actions, positive and negative.
Motivation is defined as general desire (can be a burning fire of desire as well).
In this episode, I break down why it's important to have all 3 of these to make lasting change, tips of how to get better at it, and recommendations of where to learn/draw inspiration from to keep getting better.
Remember, if you just get 1% every month, that will compound greatly and before you know it, you'll be on the path to success in all the 5 categories!

We close out Mental Health Awareness in the month of May with this episode, and I'm excited to bring a conversation with one of the most passionate, energetic, and vibrant guys I know, Kamyar Karimian, AKA Young Komet. I wanted to bring Kamyar on because I feel that his experience shows that it's ok to have 2 completely different passions, you don't have to pigeonholed into just one area.
From a very young age, Kamyar was fascinated by airplanes, and to this day his YouTube channel is consistent with travel vlogs detailing not just the trips he goes on, but the plane, the seats, and a review of the aircraft itself. But that's not the only passion he has. Later in his formative years, he discovered music and creative beats, and then started to make some rap music under the name Young Komet. He explains his story of how he found both passions, how to enlarge your comfort zone to extend hobbies into passions, which falls under the Career/Purpose Category.
Unfortunately, life isn't a straight line. Kamyar explains some of his mental issues he had to work through and how he overcame them, and how even if you do know your passions, life will still make you earn it. He talks about how passions gives him the energy and perseverance to continue to push through, which to me is precisely why the Career/Purpose and Mental Health categories are imperative to overall success.

In this episode, I'm excited to bring to you guys a conversation with a very close friend, certified wellness coach and founder of Najoum Health, Aala Shurbjy! I'm especially excited to bring her on to talk about her experience with fad diets, and how after diving deep into nutrition and functional medicine she has been able to create a food plan that consistently made her enjoy healthy food!
We deep dive into 2 of the 5 major categories of success in this episode: Physical Health and Career/Purpose. This awesome discussion covers everything from how to find and chase passions, and how it stems from the 3 major curiosities one has, the nitty gritty of an emerging entrepreneur (it's not all sunshine and roses) and more!
Aala has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, has multiple certifications in the wellness coaching space, and helps clients understand their body and nutrition while putting them on a program to not only lose weight but to feel more energetic and even reduce anxiety in her company, Najoum Health.
Ever feeling lethargic and coffee doesn't work on you anymore? Did you know that there is a supplement called Coq-10 that you can get from certain foods that is directly correlated to your energy levels and since your body doesn't produce it, you have to get it either in your food plan or supplements. I had no idea until sitting down with Aala that magnesium can affect not only bowel movements but help with anxiety a little as well. I'm definitely going to get blood work done from her and understand my deficiencies so I can have a healthier internal body. You should too, as Najoum health also offers blood work, supplements from the online store, and coaching/food plans as well!

Ever wondered how to stick out in Corporate America? Or how to nail that interview for that job you're excited about? How can you even get honest feedback these days? Or even what's the point of all of it if you're just a number on a spreadsheet to management? This episode is for you then!
This episode falls in the Career/Purpose category, and in it I share some of my experiences in my 6 year, 5 role, 3 company journey through Corporate America where I went from entry level Software Support to on the Leadership team with direct reports. I try to share my experiences and the books that I've read that have helped me answer those questions because it's different in every stage of your career.
One of the most accurate statements of value is as follows: When you're an Individual Contributor (IC), your value is directly proportional to what you do (hands to keys output). As you become a team lead and a Sr. Analyst (still an IC), your value proposition shifts to what you know, and that extends from people, business acumen, and overall tribal knowledge. Finally, as you progress through management and leadership ranks, the value proposition will become who you grow, and that is not only your direct team members, but everyone you interact with.
We also discuss feedback, how vital it is, and what exact questions to ask to pull it out of your managers. I think understanding how to pull negative feedback out of my managers and then work to improve it, as well as having a mentor, were the 2 most critical factors to my corporate success.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts and how you will implement the tips provided in the episode!

In this episode, I'll be having a conversation with Denitza Vassileva, best known as Denny! I'm especially excited to bring her on as to me, she is the textbook definition of a social butterfly and is one of the most positive people I know.
We deep dive into one of the 5 major categories of success in this episode: Mental Health. This exciting discussion covers everything from how Covid was especially hard on extroverted people who crave social interaction, why having a social life is important, how to improve mental health, and how discovering her passion during the pandemic allowed her to feel alive again. We also go over gratitude lists and how that can be extremely helpful to put things in perspective to help improve your Mental Health category!
Denny is an avid athlete, doing everything from 5 different soccer leagues, rock climbing, and most recently, yoga. She talks about how yoga isn't just a stretching exercise, it enforces core workouts as well as breathing exercises which opens you up for mindfulness and living in the moment, 2 key aspects of mindfulness if you remember episode 5 with Tracyavon.
We also go over how potentially detrimental social media is to the mind, how she does periodic cleanses, and why it's important to accept mistakes and failures, even going as far as promoting them in her rock climbing page @climbingintofailure (link further down).
Not sure of your passion or interests or hobbies? Denny has a simple answer for you: Just try anything!
Stay tuned for Denny's book coming up about rock climbing and her journey! In the interim, give her yoga page a follow and DM her for a customized yoga plan depending on what sport/weightlifting exercises you want!

Ever wondered why dating is so hard these days? Having trouble meeting someone on a consistent basis? Not sure why your friend is with their abusive significant other even though you've told him/her that they can do better multiple times?
In this episode we'll be having a discussion about dating in today's world as a Millennial and using dating apps to find someone to be with. This is the first topic that dives into the Relationships success category, and we'll be having a lot more not only on dating, but friendships and the overall importance of having good social health in future epsiodes.
We will discuss 3 major apps (sorry can't cover them all): Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge, the benefits/drawbacks in each of them, and a psychological concept called CL and CLalt.

In this episode, I'm excited to bring to you guys a conversation with a licensed social worker and fellow podcaster, Tracyavon! I had to make an exception by brining on this proud Gen Xer, because her clients are a mixed bag of Millennials and Gen Zers and she can give a perspective of how she helps them work through mental struggles. To top it off, she does this in NYC, the busiest city in the world and if she can teach you how to slow down and be mindful in NYC, you can do it anywhere!
How do you even know you or a friend is going through any mental issues? It's not visible like a broken arm, and often gets treated as something you "just need to ignore and push through". It's often ridiculed as not a "real" problem, when in reality 3/4 of mental illness start by age 24 (our cutoff of the Millennial age range).
As you might of guessed, this is a deep dive of the Mental Health category of success.
I'm especially excited to bring her on to talk about her the 7 principles of mindfulness (something I personally struggle with) as well as how to reflect in such a go-go-go environment we deal with as Millennials in the information age.
Tracyavon is a licensed social worker in NYC as well as a wellness expert. She runs a wellness blog as well as a Monday weekly podcast called the Positive Professional where she spreads tips and tricks of how to be a more mindful and positive individual. Every other Wednesday her podcast also does guided meditations, something everyone should look into as you really should learn how to be in the moment. Her tip she explains about feeling the coffee cup described in the episode is definitely something I've added to my daily routine after our discussion and I gotta say, it definitely helps me reflect!

In this episode, I'll be having a conversation with a very close friend, Basher Hassan! I'm especially excited to bring him on as to me, he is one of the best people at making social connections and relationships (something I admittedly am not the best at) and how important that is in relation to the other 5 categories.
We deep dive into one of the 5 major categories of success in this episode: Relationships. This awesome discussion covers everything from how to connect with people to build a connection, why that's important, the social psychology and reasonings of behaviors, as well as some negotiation tactics, all of which are crucial because every conversation is a negotiation of time at the minimum.
Basher is an attorney who specializes in personal injury and also has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. To me, he's best suited to talk about the social environment as well as the negotiations and decision making you need to have as a lawyer affects his every day life.
Basher also happens to be one of the most kind hearted and open people I know, and he actually goes into why he's like that and how his passion/purpose gives him the mindset to do that every day.

In this episode we'll be doing a deep dive in supplements and dietary nutrition as that is imperative towards being successful in one of the 5 major categories, Physical Health. For this episode, I thought it would be best to have an interview with an expert, so I'm excited to bring to everyone a conversation I had with soon to be Dr. Jen Kurtz!
Jen is mid-way through her PhD in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology and an emerging scientist in Sports Nutrition. Her Bachelors and Masters degrees are also in related fields and human performance, so she definitely knows what she's talking about when it comes to what needs to go into the body to be an optimal performer.
Jen also coaches strength and conditioning and does sports nutrition, and she explains why nutritional plans differ based on the person and even the sport and position each athlete plays. If you need any assistance in any of these areas, reach out to her via the contact info below!
We also dive into which supplements are important, do some fact checks on trendy things like creatine, keto, beta-alanine and more in this packed episode!
Speaking of beta-alanine, our bodies need it to a point where it will create it on it's own even if we don't get enough from our food and supplement intake in our system.

Welcome to the inaugural episode!
This episode is an intro to all the topics we'll be discussing over the lifetime of this podcast, defines the age ranges of Millennials, as well as how to set SMART goals.
Millennials are technically those who are born from 1985-1996, but Sammy explains his reasoning to shift this age range to be more relative.
We'll dive into the 5 major categories to track success, those being (in no specific order): Money, Health, Happiness, Career/Purpose, and Relationships.
We'll also provide an example of how to make a SMART goal and how to get the ball rolling to start making progress! SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relative, and Time bound and this episode describes each and why they are important.
