This podcast is an examination of the word of God that will allow for a practical application of his teachings to our own individual lives. It aims to get us in touch with Jesus Christ in a way that does not dilute his word but strengthens it within us. This means that we will be challenged on certain viewpoints that we hold, current life styles that we are choosing to live, sins that we are committing and a host of other subject areas that makes us look at the person in the mirror from a honest perspective. This podcast is not set out to condemn anyone but rather to encourage us to look at our lives through the lens of Jesus Christ. And in doing so, hopefully we will come to recognize the areas in our lives that need to be changed because no matter who you are or what your current situation is, we all have a lot of room for improvement. So let's journey together down this road of truth so we can gain a greater understanding of the Word of God and become more in touch with Jesus Christ.
Joseph's life produced a series of unfortunate events. Although these events within itself were terrible, they nevertheless happened and changed the course of his life. It is through the example of his life that we will be able to confront the things that occurred within our own lives and learn how to press forward.
Things in life are not always as clear as they need to be. Yet with the help of Jesus Christ, all of that can change so that what was once hard to see, it now more clear than ever.
The position of the cupbearer was an important position within the kingdom. Its job description included putting one's life on the line constantly. Although Nehemiah was the only individual who was called a cupbearer, there was another person who was a cupbearer whose life was placed on the line.
