I found myself surrounded by the thought of Discipline. Discipline, Discipline, Discipline…. Let’s talk about something that can absolutely help us along the way. Something we all admire. Something we see in our favorite movies. Something we read about in stories of old. Something we hate to hear but love the benefits of.
Let’s talk more about this discipline thing!
As a performer, I cannot count the amount of times that I have had to overcome adversity, fear, and conflict. The main resource that I was developing over time was my boldness. To be bold has become a part of my daily bread mainly because as often as change and fear presents itself, this provides even more reason for boldness to be everpresent. Let’s talk about the wisdom of engaging fear head on. And thereby spreading our energy equally.

So… today is my first posting with a video recording of myself while recording my next podcast. After such an awesome podcast with my last guest Manisha Smith, I found that the concept of confidence was still resonating still ringing deep in my soul. I kept seeing chances to build my confidence, opportunities to resource my confidence through my thoughts, through my experiences. This idea of confidence is super important!! As I grow older and more loving toward myself, I realize that in order to love I must be able to rely on myself. Let's talks some more, here, at A Dirty Ball of Clay!!

So much of my performance is balanced by reflection. Whenever I look at my performance, the biggest part of me wants to know that I was successful in completing my task. That brings us to today’s topic of “Successful?! How though?” If I want to be successful. I must first define what my success means to me. Whenever I encounter a word that I plan to use as something that represents me. I always define it first before I let it define me. A big part of my fresh start routine that we talked about in the last episode (for the morning) has to do with reciting the words I want to represent me. I must define the words I use so that I remember what they truly mean. To me. Today, have a special guest, Manisha Smith who joins us and talks about some of her methods for achieving success and maintaining a successful attitude. Manisha is a mother of two, a nurse and now, also an embarking entrepreneur. Give us a listen and I’m sure you will leave with something that will enrich you and empower you with something that you can use for the rest of your life.
