Stephen Smith was a bright, hilarious, loved 19 year old. In 2015, he was killed in a rural area of South Carolina. For years, his death was treated as a hit and run, until in 2021, with evidence found during the Murdaugh investigation, SLED reopened his case and is investigating it as a homicide. Stephen's family has fought for years to get answers and find justice for Stephen.

Alex Murdaugh faced almost 100 charges ranging from forgery, tax evasion, money laundering and everything in between, before he was eventually charged with the murders of his wife Maggie, and son, Paul. There were also two other deaths linked to the Murdaugh family that were looked into by officials after Alex's arrest: Gloria Satterfield and Stephen Smith.

For generations, the Murdaugh family has been well known in South Carolina. For decades, they had a hand in politics and the justice system and they got away with the unthinkable. Countless people have been negatively effected because of the selfish and privileged actions of Alex Murdaugh.
After the boating accident that caused the tragic death of Mallory Beach, people started paying closer attention to the Murdaughs and this "perfect family" was exposed for what was truly happening behind closed doors. Everyone who stepped into the forcefield of Alex Murdaugh was hurt emotionally or physically in one way or another.
The murders of Paul and Maggie Murdaugh were the final straw in Alex's downfall and the world is finally seeing him for who he truly is.

Lauren Smith-Fields was found dead after a date with an older man she met on Bumble. Police deemed him a "good guy who didn't need to be investigated." In 2004, 21 year old Leigh Matthews was abducted from the Bond University campus in South Africa. Later that day, her kidnapper called her family to demand a ransom. The ransom was paid, but Leigh was never returned to her family. There are a lot of very odd details that don’t match up in her kidnapper’s version of events.
Crystal Theobold was murdered in 2006. In the beginning, there were no suspects and no leads. Crystal’s family got a tip that a local gang was involved, and created a fake MySpace account to get more information that would lead them to her killer.
Somehow I had never heard of this insane serial killer case until I read Last Call by Elon Green. 4 men were brutally murdered in the early 1990s by a man who picked his victims from vulnerable drunk men leaving piano bars at the end of the night.
Leonarda Cianciulli murdered 3 women in the 1940s in Italy. She believed she was cursed to live a miserable life, and was convinced she could save her son with a spell-that needed a human sacrifice to complete.
At the end of 2019, two children Tylee Ryan (17) and JJ Vallow (7) were reported missing. As police looked into the events surrounding their disappearances, they discovered that the most likely culprits were their own mother and step father, who fled the state.
Maura Murray went missing on February 9 2004 after she wrecked her car along a secluded highway. It was as if she disappeared into thin air
Australia's most notorious serial killer attacked unsuspecting hitchhikers in the Belanglo State Forest.
John Wayne Gacy seemed like a great guy. He was prominent in his community and people seemed to really like him. He even dressed up as a clown for charity events and children’s parties, how nice! WRONG. Behind the scenes, John was kidnapping and torturing teenage boys and men, and burying them under his house. Yikes.
Susan Powell went missing without a trace in December of 2009. Since then, there’s only been one person of interest: her husband, Josh. Josh’s family always seemed to know more than they were letting on and his story has never made much sense.
