Presents: Hi! We are Mackenzie and Bridget, two best friends who met while studying film and acting in NYC. From a Catholic conference in our twenties, discerning our vocations, to working in Hollywood, military wife life and all the seasons in between we have a heart for true and beautiful stories. Here is the place where we share conversations rooted in truth and goodness and interviews of friends who are unravelling the call placed on their lives so beautifully.
The girls are sharing a HUGE announcement today that has come with lots of prayer and discernment. What might seem like an end of a beautiful era has ultimately turned into a gift from God as He continues to ask each of us to be docile and ready for what He has in store. Like our loyal listeners, and retreat attendees we continue to peel back the layers of unraveling the call in the season in front of us. We are so blessed by everyone in the Imago Dei community and listen to the full episode + stay in touch to hear how we are pivoting to an online option!
In this episode Bridget and Kenzie discuss the summer transitions and how being open to His will//letting go of control leaves room for growth and provision. How making rash decisions early on in motherhood could potentially interfere with the greater versions of ourselves and that God equips us for the season we are in and not one second earlier. And…Surprise!! So many of you asked for it! Today we are opening sign ups for our fall Imago Dei retreat and we can’t wait to have you join us. Listen to the episode + keep your eyes on our socials for more info.

Welcome to another episode with the talented “Catholic Therapist,” Lisa Gormley. After many conversations with friends and listeners about the anxiety that the holiday season can bring, we knew we needed a professional. On today’s episode we discussed not only “getting through” the holidays, but finding ways to thrive. By using both spiritual and practical ways to maintain regulation in our mind and spirit, Lisa shares how we can better maintain a parasympathetic nervous response, or the “rest and digest” state when we know we are safe, rather than finding ourselves in a constant state of “fight or flights or the “sympathetic nervous response.”
We are back! After a couple of weeks off, Bridget shares with us some recent grief but how there is beauty, hope, and no wasted suffering. Join us as we dive in to the deep stuff and share more updates about the upcoming Imago Dei Retreat+Mastermind. Retreat is 1/2 full so get your tix soon!!

Welcome to our next series!
B and Kenz couldn't think of a better time to dive head first into the Discernment of Spirits and Ignatian Spirituality. What is discerning? Why do we do it and need it? How can this change our lives? These are the questions they uncover with you. Join them as they walk through the first few rules on this first episode and how taking a pause before action is critical + taking notes of the thoughts throughout the day can change everything.
On this episode Kenz and B discuss the many seasons that 'imposter syndrome' has popped up in their lives, each of their husband's lives, and how the pattern seems to always point to the same thing -- there is only one person who doesn't want us to reach our our mountaintop, and he is going to stop at nothing to tell us the lie that we do not deserve our dreams, or that we are imposters. But God is different - God breathes life into our dreams, He is the author of our dreams, and when we remain close to Him we will drown out any false beliefs or insecurities such as imposter syndrome.
Listen to the end to hear B's fav verse from Luke, that is sure to help anyone in a season of growth and serve as a reminder that we are never meant to doubt ourselves or look back. Always forward, all for His glory!
