Mijon Zulu is funny, gay, and obsessed with Drag Race. Join him and his friends as he deep-dives into global queer culture, Drag Race, interviews other Whispering Huntys, and celebrates one of the best TV shows of the modern era.
Drag this week taught that you need a lot C.U.N.T. Energy and that pussy had better be on fire if you want to beat Jasmine Kennedy in a lip-sync. Also, could queens just consider lowering our expectations and then wow us that talent? Controversial option, but wouldn’t it be nice to not see queens eat their words. On All Stars, we are here for Janey Jacké Ru-demption and Jimbo’s Mugler. That and literally anything these queens do on All Stars because they are what? SEASONED!!!!
Dutch Brazilian drag artist Miss Vanity Love graces us with her presence and tells us about super cute queer spaces like CREA student cultural center - a space for the art, in general, that is super inclusive. Then, all the way from Salt Lake City (for now), we are joined by actor, singer, and composer Jaron Barney! Jaron let us into the world of Salt Lake City’s mixed queer scene staples like Suntrap and Milk that just opened! Then, we learn that this multi-threat artist has a Drag Queen Sister named Sequoia! The luck! Be sure to check Sequoia’s monthly show in Ogden at WB on the first Sunday of every month if you are ever in the area! If that isn’t enough, Jaron just started a new company "Nonscents" an organic, genderless perfume oil to help fund his creative projects.
About our guests:
Jaron is a singer, actor, composer who lives in Harlem but is currently a vagabond while he travels as a performer. After touring as an actor with Broadway's Book of Mormon the musical, Jaron began working toward his new dream: writing music professionally. As a writer, Jaron is currently in pre-production for two original musicals and is working on his first studio release as a solo artist. Jaron also recently launched a small business called Nonscents, which creates organic, genderless, perfume oils.
Miss Vanity Love is a Dutch Brazilian drag artist inspired by all things glamour, burlesque, and the expression of femininity and creativity. She hosts, produces, and performs at several shows across Europe, spanning the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, and Germany. Her projects vary in nature, from a geeky subculture of Queer Arcana (a Dungeons and Drag Queens youtube show), theatrical shows in Paradiso, Boom Chicago, to political documentaries such as the Drag Manifesto (nominated and winner of various prizes in film festivals across the world) and educational workshops. Kevin's aspirations (i.e. the guy behind the makeup) through Vanity is to uplift, inspire, and celebrate diversity and each other, continuously combating stigma and educating others while also putting on a fierce show.

With much joy and sass, we are so happy to be joined by Joey Sigona from EurovisioNYC - an inclusive party that celebrates all things Eurovision all year long! Thank Ru, GJKoijman, Marco Dreijer and Adam Unze for forcing the Huntys to get into the Eurovision situation. Joey served the deets about his Eurovision parties in NYC and Chill Bar - a safe queer space that is creating some inclusive programming in the VERY cis-male gay area in Palm Springs. Kudos! Then, drag race. How relieved is everyone besides Kornbread that she has been tagged out early?. On the bright side, Bosco finally got to demonstrate why we should not put her and Orione Story in the same category just because they sometimes look the same. Thank Ru for bringing the trio of first eliminated queens who further demonstrated why season 14 might still need a little more fire and how Kamora Hall is trying to root for YOU! FINALLY, we return to the epic journey of Jujubee as she attempts to complete an infinity gauntlet of drag race seasons. UK vs The World serves some seasoned queen realness and we are all parched for this talent. Jimbo, so weird and so good. Pangina literally proves why she was a judge. And, Monique demonstrating singing for - to be real - everyone! But, where, I mean, WHERE IS THAT PRIZE MONEY????????
About our guest:
Joey is a Eurovision fan who contributes to a fan media outlet on the Eurovision-themed site: ESC-plus.com and their YouTube channel. When not tracking down the latest from artists in the Eurovision circles, he is working with his NY-based team to plan the NYC party: EurovisioNYC, where all the children under the spectrum celebrate their love for Eurovision's spirit, diversity, multi-culturalism, and music. The party is hallmarked by a mix of drag performance and a lip-sync showdown.

Sometimes, if not all the time, we get it from our MAMA! That’s why we are super excited to talk to the powerhouse that is Mancie Mandell - the mother of Jasmine Kennedie. With a little bit of Honest Tea and L-O-V-E, Mama Mandell and I had a lovely kiki about her love of fashion, Gospel Drag, how she feels about the dress she made for Jasmine's runway this week, and lesser-known spots in Asbury Park, NJ. Then, it was on to the Drag Race! Why was Deja Skye so cocky after that lip sync? Jorgeous in THAT DRESS! These damn chocolate bars! What in the cavity?! Bosco was safe? Why Bling Empire? Also, June is a stylist. Ummmm…careful what you say!!!!!!
About our guest:
Mancie Mandell is a 28-year-old aspiring designer hailing all the way from Asbury Park, NJ. A former Miss Paradise 2019, she’s an entertainer in the nightlife, a pageant queen, and a part of that special sauce that brought us the lovely Jasmine Kennedie!

Stop Everything. Who the F*@# are we? This is a day Whispering Huntys never thought would we happen! Our idol, our muse, our inspiration Jonah Kilday is in the Hunty House! Jonah is a queer creative and the co-host of The Queer Creative podcast, which is basically the drag mom to Whispering Huntys and so many queer creatives around the world. Getting a chance to talk about queer creativity and the growth that phenomenal podcast was such a dream! Whispering Huntys is honored and grateful, but also SERIOUSLY underwhelmed by episode 2 of season 14! Why was Alicia Keys in a box? What was Deja Skye’s cheer presentation about? What song was Maddy Morphosis trying to play? And, what was the rest? If we are going to have a talent show there needs to be more talent than just lipsyncing because we all know that lipsyncing the house-down-boots is a requirement for simply walking through the door. Or, at least, it was until now. Thank God-Ga, Angeria Paris VanMicheals served us some sweet tea.
About our guest:

Undergarments everywhere, a talent show debut, jerking or twerking or improv, Kerri Colby’s face, and all the Kornbread. Season 14 is back and it feels so right! We still don’t know what Willow Pill did, but thank-the-Evie-Oddly it happened. We kick off this week with The-Bachelor-and-Drag- Race obsessed Kali Tripodis. Kali hosts the ultimate Bachelor after show Trashler and brings all her hot takes to the yard. If that is not enough, we have the one and only Savannah Couture - Drag daughter and real-life sibling of Isis Couture - fresh from the emotional journey that has been the seriously fierce Ottawan drag taking over the world. Who are we? Get ready. We are going to deep dive into La Pusetta, Olivia Rodrigo, Gaga, and more shade than anyone deserves.
Kali Tripodis is a comedy writer, performer, and Lady Gaga historian. She lives in New York and loves to perform improv, sketch, and of course, karaoke.
Serving you cotton candy bubblegum princess, Savannah Couture is the perfect sugary sweet sensation. The only thing sweeter than her looks is Savannah herself! She has been performing drag for many years and is one of Ottawa's favourite queens in the drag scene. She starred in season 2 of CBC's Canada's A Drag with her drag mother/sister Icesis Couture and is a headline performer at The Lookout Bar, as well as many other popular venues in and around Ottawa. She’s even toured across the country opening up for your favourite RuPaul’s Drag Race queens! This is one galactical barbie NOT to miss!

Well, Drag Race is about to give birth until season 14. Till then, we decided to have a kiki with the Queen of the Universe. How could we not? $250,000 for a 6 episode season, while the Drag Race UK has no prize and Drag Race Itaila €30,000? Luckily, it might even be more enjoyable than one of the bajillion franchises that have come through this year. Grag Queen, AdaVox, Aria B Cassadine, Sushant Divgikar, and Gingzilla have changed us forever. And the Finale! Zomg, no one could have predicted the “moment”mishap. Leona Lewis and Michelle Visage barely recovered enough to give their comments. And then, the growl that Grag Queen saved for her last performance SLAYYYYYYYYYYYYED.

Ciao Huntys! Well, we are gagged, gooped, shooketh by yet another finale that surprised us. Thank the Lord, our beloved Italian-Dutch Nutella Versace joins us to break it down. While Amsterdam is back in lockdown, Nutella was lucky enough to host the annual Aidsfonds World AIDS Day fundraiser. While we are utterly convinced by the talent of the stunning glamazon Elektra Bionic, we’re still wondering how the report card measures up in comparison. Beyond that, we are also a bit confused by Drag Italia’s formatting, fashions, Miss Congeniality crowning, and the traumatic stories of the contests with the families. Hopefully, like the many Drag Races that have come before, now the show has arrived the healing can begin.
About our guest!

Happy Holidays Y'all. We are still recovering from Thanks/Friendsgiving and the shocker finale that blasted most people’s predictions. But, oh well, winning is something that needs to happen every season so someone has to do it. Congrats to Krystal Versace for winning Drag Race UK. The sky is the limit and we are excited to see you progress. Luckily, we are joined by Adam Johannesson again to shut down the UK for what will hopefully be at least a calendar year. We also talk about the funniest and yet-still-somehow-awkward roast of our dearly beloved Brooke Lynn Hytes Canada's Drag Race Kendall Gender congrats. Isis Couture, sorry you robbed yourself. And, Kimora Amour, what happened?

Could there be any more drag competitions happening at the same time? Drag Race France is coming soon and the UK, Canada, and Italy are airing at the same time!!!!!!!!!! It is the best of times for Nick and the worst of times for Mijon. But, for you, Huntys, we pushed through and watched all three. Day after Trans Remembrance Day, we salute our queer family and would like to draw attention to those lost and the need to educate ourselves and be stronger allies to the trans community. Period.

Another week, another double something. What on earth is happening that 2 billion new franchises are happening. It is so hard to keep up. Luckily, we have our British darling from across the pond this week, Coco Couture! We dish about everything: hosting drag brunch Kitty Scott-Claus, life before and after lockdown, the new Adele, and trashy British TV. Happy belated birthday to our lovely Nick Probst. We love you Nick and thanks again, Coco.

What a week! Vanity Milan lives to see another slay, a timed challenge that could not be real, we are still confused as to who and what Grimes is, Eve 6000 has 6000 problems, and Cynthia Kiss has risen from the dead. Coming to you from a vacation in the Catskills, Mijon is falling love with the country and Nick is all in favor. Like upstate, this is an intimate episode with just your two co-hosts as we go in on the franchises. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy, Huntys!

Cybil War is finally done hiding from the pandemic and was getting ready for a show! The world and Halloween have been missing her! We learn all about the phenomenon of “strip pubs” in the UK. Then, we catch up on Cybil’s House (her formerly monthly, but now quarterly party at The White Swan) and the trials and tribulations throwing queer parties have faced over the pandemic. Then, is straight into holds bared episode of the shade, tea, and realness. Shoutout to friend of Cybil, Merrie Cherry, for the excellent work on Dragula.

We are back in Ireland this week with Victoria Secret who honored us with her presence before popping to the George in Dublin for one of her first live gigs now that bars are open for business! Irelan is 95% and putting many countries to shame. Well done!! Victoria has recently retired from Snapchat and we are all broken-hearted about it, but we understand she needs to focus on what works, which is her! Could you believe the group issue numbers in Canada and week without a winner in the UK? That we are seriously mourning the losses of the two queens that brought so much to each competition that were eliminated this week. Mais, c’est la vie!

We are back up north and chatting with our friends in Canada. Sunshine Glitterchild has been doing Ottawa Drag Race competition while WigZaddy has been busy working on the new TV show Call Me Mother. We also learn about how Toronto’s drag scene has changed since COVID. Then, we dive into so much Drag Race!

How lucky are we to have the darling Adam Johannesson grace on the podcast this week. An illustrator and graphic designer, Adam’s drawing of queens like Miss Fame and Violet Chachki garnered so much attention that queens themselves started following and reposting.. We get to hear about how he collaborated with Miss Fame and has recently featured The Queer Bible: Essays by Jack Guinness a gorgeously illustrated collection of essays written by today's queer heroes.

It is Tulip planting season in Holland, so we circled back again to plant some seeds for Drag Race Holland Season 3 and to speak with Drag Queen extraordinaire Hoax LeBeau (Remy could never). This 11-year-old drag-entrepreneur got her first job offer after attending a theme party and turn that into a drag, DJ, and host career! She also founded The Drag Agency to empower other drag royalty to make that good money! Hoax gives the full scoop on her relationship to Nyx and 3Nyx and also lets’ us know about her own club night Traffamafia (Crossdresser Mafia). Oh, the times we will have if ever get to Holland!

Hurray for the Vanessa Van Cartier! Welcome British Drag! And, Happy Belated Rotterdam pride. We are busy, we are swamped and there is just so much good drag. This week we are joined by deep friend of the pod, Drag Costumier (featured on Drag Race Uk and Drag Race España), and Fashion Designer Phillip Brown. We get a full scoop of news from across the pond and then deep dive into the finale gave us a queen that we deserve but also gave us a lot of confusion. But when drag is as good as what Holland has been serving, who cares!

What the actual F*$% Y’all. We gagged, we are gooped by the cheek, the nerve, the audacity, and the gumption of this final four. I mean. I mean! Our thoughts and prayers to Keta Minaj. Luckily, in our time of need, deep friend of the pod, Noah Millman (events producer, professor, and fitness savant) joins us with Miss Cartier (Matt Geuze), the daughter of Envy Peru (technically the granddaughter of Vanessa Van Cartier and Tabitha)! We learn about how Envy unlocked Miss Cartier’s feminine side one night in Paris. The rest is her-story! Up-date from Holland - drag brunches are happening and bars reopening from 4 pm-12 amfor the vaccinated, but if you are a tourist, times are tough with daily PCR tests! We also learn about a party called Monday Muse at Bar Rouge, which done by Totally Events (a POC and Trans inclusive events production company :))

Happy Bushwig and congrats to one of our two new Miss Bushwigs! On the pod, we are joined by the fabulous Toronto writer and podcaster Brynn Byrne (be sure to check out the That Was a Show? podcast). From across the pond, we reconnected with our spicy Dutch diva The Lady Galore. Brynn starts us off with the full scoop on Canada’s election and current Covidian journey before sharing local drag info. If we ever make it to Canada, we’ll be attending drag brunch at the Gladstone Hotel in the West End of Toronto. Lady Galore is hot off the presses from publishing her book Glitter Maakt Alles Beter: Hoe Lady Galore Mijn Leven Redde - the first Dutch book about drag! We were lucky to catch her because she was actually performing at Patty Pam Pam’s Holy Brunch along with Reggy B!

What a week! Queen Kylie!!!!!!!!!! The love of Vanessa Van Cartier. Family Resemblance (normally, gross, but this week was fire (besides that lip-sync - EW)) Also, Henri who? Apparently, Ida was the one we all should have all been preparing for. This week, we’d also like to draw attention to friend-of-the-show and drag queen Essa Noche whose apartment was completely flooded by Ida. She, along with many Brooklyn queers, suffered losses during the flooding in NYC and we like to support drag queens however we can. If you can check out her Insta and Venmo and send her some love and cash money. Also, Labor Day and pandemic insurance have come and gone (Yikes!), so be kind to yourselves as you find work. Whatever happens, please don’t settle for something that doesn’t "spark joy". And, who better to show how it is done, than Alicia of Nails by Glamazon the part-time lawyer part-time custom nail artist who makes nails for Eureka, Manilla, Ra’Jah, and countless other Drag Divas! Follow your passion and maybe your passion will be showcased all around the world. :) Alicia came on the pod to serve Drag Race superfan energy. We get nail tips and learn all about how she partners with our favs! She also teaches us about some fabulous regional queer spaces: Charlies in Phoenix, Club Axis in Columbus, and some of the best drag queens in Baltimore Brooklyn Heights (the American one) and Iyana Deschanel. And, finally, we get to hear about the beautiful queer love story of her own. <3

Another week and another Hurricane/Tropical Storm! What the hell is going on? Luckily, we still have drag race and two fabulous guests. Atlanta based award-winning photographer Toby of Just Toby served us amazing insider tea about Nicole Paige Brooks’ Boots, how Mariah Paris Balenziaga and Coco Montrose birthed his Photography career, and Wussy Mag. We also learned about so cute queer ATL Spots: Whoops (Gay Sports Bar), Midtown Moon, and The Hideaway. From across the pond, we were also joined by drag sisters and real-life couple Amy Astoria and Victoria Vyper who hail from Utrecht in Holland. Would believe that Holland is allowing sports gatherings but still won’t let people gather in bars? Literal discrimination against nightlife. Luckily we learned about so cool queer parties: Rubber and Lapin. Then we dove deep into the Holland much-improved version of a Rusical!
This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Could life be any crazier? Hurricane/Tropical Storm Henri tried to take down the East Coast (we survived). Cuomo's done! The game within a game was revealed and then we get a cliffhanger? Drag Race Holland’s Snatch Game happened on Episode 3! Thank goodness we had the fine company of Nutella Versace - “Donatella’s long lost Versace cousin” in the house to give us all the sass and help us understand all the Whos and Theys that Holland has to offer. Nutella just had a lovely Amsterdam Pride marching and returning to Pride's purpose (a riot) while flirting with the likes of famous Dutch author and TV personality Splinter Chabot. We also learned about Holy Brunch with Miss Patty Pam Pam & friends, which is still slayyyyying the game at the Koepelkerk, a unique 17th-century domed monument/ old church that is now an event space for the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel. The show features a lot of Drag Race Holland queens as well as high-caliber local queens. And, since Nutella just WON the Snatch Game at the Cuniligus Show at Boom Chicago, who better to join us as we dissect Drag Race’s hardest challenge and search for a sense of humor and wit.

What a week! Inner demons were rampant on both franchises. We learned about polydactylism. We still have no idea what the game within a game is. We learned about colorism in the black community. We got all the elder energy from Tabitha, Vannessa Van Cartier and Fred Van Leer’s come to Jesus monologue to Love Masisi. And, now that World of Wonder is done advertising Drag Tots, maybe we can get back to our regular drag programming? Unclear. Either way, this week’s filler All Stars episode was luckily balanced out by a stellar submission from Drag Race Holland. Apparently, Europe is still the moment. Sadly this week, we say goodbye to our fabulous summer intern. Celia, we love you and miss you already. Thank you for elevating the Huntys to higher heights. Also, on the pod today we have two queer creatives that are making uplifting spaces in Amersterdam and Brooklyn, NY! Eric Sosa, the bar and venue owner of C'mon Everybody and Good Judy talks to us about how he opened a queer Brooklyn bar in the middle of the pandemic. Friend of the pod Lolo Borella (formerly Beniza) joins us to get all those boots on the ground tea from Holland.

From politics to pride, this episode was a real podcaster party! Marco Dreijer is a Dutch arts and culture influencer and body positivity activist and is also the host of two podcasts: Ding-a-Dong, a Eurovision podcast, and Pruikentijd, a Drag Race podcast. Maxim Ibadov is a Brooklyn-based multimedia artist and fashionista, and hosts the political/pop culture podcast Let’s Tawk! Calling all Whispering Huntys!
We are a global queer culture, drag, and Drag Race podcast. We love the TV show, but we’re also working to build a space to celebrate and learn about local drag scenes, queer artists and creatives, designers, queer communities around the world, queer allies, and the effects of COVID-19 on queer spaces. Basically, every week we learn about queer culture and then we a have kiki about our favorite TV show.

Hello, August! This week was a real party on the pod; not only did we have two fabulous guests joining us, Brooklyn DJ Luis Mancheno and drag jewelry artist Genesis Knight, but we also welcomed comedian and friend of the pod Griffin Leeds back as a special guest co-host! Luis Mancheno (DJ name Luis Fernando) produces queer, inclusive parties in Brooklyn and Manhattan; Genesis Knight is a fabulous drag queen who creates stunning rhinestone jewelry as worn by Tina Burner and Ginger Minj; and Griffin Leeds writes, produces, and performs comedy around NYC, and also hosts The Forger at Wonderville, a live game show adaptation of the award-winning board game of the same name. We talk about our favorite queer spaces, getting the España finale we deserved, and one of the best episodes of this All Stars season!

This week, the huntys are kiki-ing from the Garden State and welcoming two amazing new guests to the pod: fellow podcaster Kali Tripodis and costume designer extraordinaire Tony Iniguez. Kali is a comedy writer, performer, and host of the Chromaticast podcast and the Trashelor aftershow (check out her Insta and YouTube); and Tony has designed outfits for celebrities such as Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion, as well as some of our favorite queens on Rupaul’s Drag Race! We talk about how queens plan their Drag Race wardrobes, the highs and lows of Bachelor nation, and, of course, the latest episodes of España and All Stars!

Happy birthday, Whispering Huntys! Mijon and Nick are flying solo this week and celebrating the pod’s one-year anniversary. That’s a whole year we’ve been spilling tea, kiki-ing, and chatting it up with some of the most amazing guests we could have asked for. Now Mercury’s not in "Gatorade" quite yet (...is that right?) but it sure feels like it with all the craziness that’s been going on! This week we discuss what it means to be a whispering hunty, the flawlessness of the España finalists, and that absolutely bizarre episode of All Stars!

With the Huntys back in New York and Metropolitan finally open until 4 a.m., we are SO ready to dive back into Brooklyn nightlife; and who better to join us than nightlife expert Cameron Cole, a Brooklyn-based photographer, DJ, and writer who’s been working the scene for around 15 years. This week we discuss our favorite nightlife memories, being the positive person you want in your life, and, of course, all the craziness happening on the latest episodes of All Stars and España.

¡Hola, Caris! This week we’re kiki-ing from the Windy City and welcoming back Queer In Love podcast’s Diego Amado to help us unpack all this Drag Race. Queer in Love is a podcast that explores queer relationships from a queer lens, hosted by Diego Amado. Each episode he talks to queers to learn about how queer life and queer love thrive, but also how queer love and queer life are impacted by popular culture, spirituality, race, family, the state, all those forces that shape our experiences as queer people across the spectrum of gender and sexuality. We talk about throwing away your dating rule book, the Chicago nightlife scene, and, of course, the latest episodes of España and All Stars!

Happy NYC Pride! Post-COVID anxiety is real, but we are living our best lives and getting back into the swing of things! With the premier of All Stars season six and a new episode of España, keeping up with all this Drag Race is like a full-time job! Luckily, we’ve got some incredible guests to help us out. This week, we’re joined by Joel Correa, a fabulous makeup artist, and Doug Morris, director of PR and marketing at 5equals10, an amazing queer-owned business selling underwear and athleisure (for 50% off new arrival merchandise, use code HUNTYS50). Joel talks about his favorite queer spaces in Philedelphia: Woody’s, Voyeur, and Tabu; and Mijon and Doug sing praises for the Gotham Volleyball League.

New York nightlife is back in full swing and we are living for it -- Mijon even took a note from Art Simone and finally danced in the club to Chromatica!! With the first season of Drag Race Down Under coming to a close, it was only right to discuss the finale with a couple of fabulous Aussie queens; and the lovely Bree Vin-Ammyl and Krystal Kleer have us covered. We deep-dive into the final episode, the drama on Drag Race España, and even talk about drag at a funeral!

We are fresh from BK Pride and Mijon has the full tea on the joy that happened at the first Whispering Huntys power brunch and at Good Judy this weekend. The BK Queers had a blast and everyone was happy to hear about Whispering Huntys. Down Under is ending so strangely. And, now that Drag Race España has started it is high time that we had a guest that actually speaks Spanish, so we are excited to have Pelayo Alvarez from the Forbidden Apple Podcast and we discuss the need for radical acceptance and how LGBTQ+ people process their spirituality. Also, why it is ok to still be spiritual after you come out. Pelayo talks about his favorite queer spaces: Washington Square Park and Tompkins Square Park.

Hola Huntys!!!
While Down Under has still been blessing us with drama, Drag Race Espana is in the house! Supreme, Ana, The Javiers, and these queens! Who knew that this was the season we’ve all been waiting for!!!!!!
To take on the task of all of this Drag Race we could only bring an absolute expert, so we called upon the talents of friend-of-pod Marco Dreijer of Ding-a-Dong podcast and Pruikentijd, the definitive Dutch Language Drag Race Podcast!
Since Marco and friend of the pod GJ Koijman were on the ground at Eurovision we dive deep into all the drama! James Newman’s snub by the jury. That hot Spanish singer that, the French dominance of Voila and Tout L’Universe. Annoying key changes. Ukraine’s calling spring. Italy surprise win that Marco predicted. Daði Freyr. We also learn how Marco and GJ have been setting up a Dutch podcasting empire. Hosting the Drag Race Holland Reunion! Also, we learn about his favorite Wednesday spot in Amsterdam, Taboo. Also, NYC queer spaces have made a consolidated move to only serve vaccinated people! Normal life is also back!
Now for Drag Race: Why is everyone underestimating Kita Mean? Can the cocky queens calm down? What is holding Karen From Finance back? Maxi’s lack of a game face. The longest underwear mini-challenge ever. Thank you! Can we bring back “Oh, Pit Crew”!? Also, more Pit Crew diversity, please. Do wins mean anything right now?
Drag Race España! Supremme De Luxe is just so lovely and classy. So happy for the trans and nonbinary inclusion. Ana Locking is legit fashion queen. The Javiers are so sweet and sexy. Also, the fashion! Literally everything is so creative. This is finally a queer Drag Race. Did anyone actually understand how to pronounce Farela? Isn’t Hugáceo Crujiente just so sweet, different, fabulous How tall is Drag Volcano? Are any of the other contestants over 5’2”?

Ok Huntys, get ready for an international session of queer church because we get into it with Ottawa’s own Sunshine Glitterchild and Berlin’s Joe Von Hutch co-founder of daddy.berlin.
So much has happened this week. New apartment alert! We learn the truth about East Williamsburg and coining the term Williamsburger. A trip to Good Judy. Jersey City's Headroom Lounge dramatically shut down. Our thoughts prayers to Joseph Cameron and Anida Tension. We learn about Ottawa’s drag-tastic queer space The Lookout Bar. We also learn about finding your truth from Joe and how he left law to move Berlin and found Daddy Magazine. And, we hear about Buttons, an epic weekend-long party that way queer dreams are made of.
Then, Drag Down Under! This Reading Challenge…what ha-happened? Etcetera is still pressed about Kita Mean’s dress, but maybe they need to get real about their shady tendencies? Yeast Spread? What in the Marmite/Vegemite is going on? Thank god for the Pitcrew cause they were so many awkward moments during this filming. Our thoughts and prayers to Susan Paul. As predicted, we finally get to talk about the blackface incident. Yikes. Is this a setup? The runways confusing, but Maxi’s microphone was cute.

There is a brand new podcast at the Apocalypse Podcast Network and guess who it belongs to? None other than friend of the pod Adam Unze! That’s right! The Spark Parade podcast is now official family! :) We are so happy and even more happy that Adam joined us this week.
On the pod: Did someone say trash? Oh, wait. Art is back! Gag-o-tondra!!!! Any reason why though? Karen cannot sew! This tracks! Etcetera helps Drag Race do more for trans and nonbinary people and then pests the long-suffering Elektra? Alexis? What is her name? Ru sports Aussie and Kiwi colors in a fan? A dress? So many folds. Elz Carrad! Hey Zaddy! Also, whether it is Shabelle Corgie or Schapelle Corby, Mama is a shady lady. And, this heart-breaking lip sync. Poor Danni. She deserved better.

Family is everything, which is why we caught up with friends of the pod and the most fabulous Italians in all of Amsterdam: Lolo Benzina and Nutella Versace. Our friends in Holland gave us the full scoop on what’s going on in Holland, the latest news about Superball, Club Church - an Amsterdam hot spot, and then get in the Drag race.
Karen is gagged that Art went home and SO ARE WE! Coco Jumbo is feeling her outs, but is it deserved? Pit crew Down Under: Calling all the bears! This song…This Beyonce comment is bull. Who is Alexis?

Nutella Versace is THAT delicious bitch. She is the funny and sexy Italian bombshell from Amsterdam. She is going to be part of the Snatch Game in the upcoming The Cunnilingus Show at Boom Chicago comedy club in Amsterdam. Follow her on instagram @nutellaversacedrag or youtube at Nutella Versace.
Lolo Benzina is an Italian (now almost Dutch) queen. After 16 years of working as a successful choreographer and modern dancer, Lolo got tired of the narrow confines that define the performing arts and began to flourish in the nightlife scene where a larger audience could be reached with more innovative performances. In 2015, Lolo was asked by Jennifer Hopelezz to organize Superball, a fierce battle of drag kings and queens. Today, this legendary event continues to influence queer and drag culture throughout Holland as well as Europe (No, really. It is now the biggest international Drag Ball in Europe), organized by Lolo, DjPrisz (Priss), Darling Peter, and Maayan Bengal.
Lolo is the mother of the Vipers Squat through which she creates performance spaces and acts for many parties and festivals (Wasteland, Lowlands, Oerol festival). She is also a resident queen for Club Church and the House of Hopelezz, resident stylist for the team at Funhouse (Rapido Events), and has performed at parties in Paris, Istanbul, Italy, Belgium and, basically, all over Europe.
Benzina, like the name says, is an eclectic and highly flammable firecracker of a drag queen. Lolo is warm to the touch, but be careful not to get burned!

A Snatch Game full of bottoms on episode 2, Art Simone doing a Sashay, we knew things would be different on Drag Race Down Under, but, CRIKEY, this is house-down-boots-cray! Thankfully, we have two amazing guests to help process, cope, and keep calm! Kris Keochinda of Awf Magazine and Rockbar’s Coco Taylor join us take everything from drag race to LA and NYC nightlife.

Now about Drag Race Down Under: WTF is A shoey? Will Minogue Mail be permanent? Why is Anita so intriguing? WTF happened to Lindy Chamberlain!? Can we get a moment of silence for Catherine O’Hara and friend of the pod BEV because Mama Rose was done dirty? Was the Sea Sickening runway actually sickening? Also, this elimination???????? We call production shade!

G’day Huntys! We are finally down under and it feels sooooooooooooo good. Things are fresh and these queens are saucy. Have you ever seen so much personality in one room? Where have they been!!!!
But, real talk, were you also confused as to when exactly the episode was coming on and where to watch it? World of Wonder? What’s the tea? Literally, this was Down Under on the down-low. Thankfully, we managed and we were joined by the inspirational guru that is Alexander Sinardo, the founder of Ultimate Drag, which features interactive Beauty Masterclasses and 1x1 meet-and-greets with drag queens and queer artists, AND all for a good cause! Soak-in every word this man says. Literally, it's all gold.
On the pod, we really hold nothing back. Will Traci Melchor ever be a full-time judge. What’s going down in the queer scenes of Vancouver and Toronto? Also, 1181 and the Junction, we have our eyes on you for our next trip up north!
Now, about these Down Under Queens....poor Elektra, but at least she "won" the mini. Who is Taika Waititi? Are Anita Wig Lit and Jackie Cox related? Also, welcome to the completion Karen From Finance! Also, can some make sure Raven gets out of quarantine so that RuPaul gets dressed for the show? Finally, splits will never be the same again. Elektra just changed the game. Damn!

Do not worry, you are not crazy, almost nothing happened at the Ru-union and yes they did photoshop in a shot of RuPaul asking a question from a completely different season. We still, we there was a lot of talk about. Luckily, our fierce femme friend of the pod Neon Calypso was here to help us break it down.
We start with our mutual love of Merrie Cherry, Mother of Brooklyn Drag, and hear about Neon’s start in Dorchester, MA. Then we talk about the need for queer spaces in the Boston area. The closing of Machine/Ramrod and Paradise. And, the racism and integration in the queer scene and the need for inclusivity in the queer culture in general.
Then, this reunion, Huntys….Wait a minute! There are doing the Grand Finale in a small theatre? Joey is officially traded of the season? Not Rosé? Also, why is Rose’s 12 questions the funniest she’s been all season? Lala and Joey Jay would make the best Youtube show, right? The endless recaps. Is Bubbly still paying for all of this? Does anyone care if Utica and Olivia date? These videos though! Bless Kahmora, Tamisha, Lala, Denali, and Olivia. The rest…Unclear. Also, with all the money that they have for these music rights, can we do a double crowning? The Golden Boot: You betta manifest.

Philadelphia is a stone’s throw away from NYC. And yet, Nick and I AND DRAG RACE still haven’t been blessed by the presence of a Philly Queen. Well, that ends today!
Philly Icon and our new Whorespondent, Bev dropped in to let us know all about:
The Boystown of Philly. Bev’s Live Nation Hocus Pocus show. Why no Drag Race queens seem to come from Philly. Is Oliva Lux really a New York queen? What about Jersey? And, her amazing post - Halloween party: Philly Beauty Ball!
Then, we dive deep into Drag Race! Has no one seen cursive? Are Rosé and Jan on Drag Race so that World of Wonder can sign Stephanie’s Child to World of Wonder Records. The House of Avalon is from Little Rock? Who knew!? Also, what a misdirect! We thought Symone was going bye-bye with that Inner Saboteur attitude. Also, Mama did it again! We were not ready for these legs. But that mini-challenge wig? Let’s bring back Delta! Did we get 4 lip syncs or one last moment for Symone to shine?
You’re welcome. xoxo ~ The Huntys

Drag Race Down Under is on the horizon, so we took a quick trip down under to get some tongue-and-cheek with friend of the pod Bree Vinn Ammyl. There is so much to learn about Australia: Wollongong, Sydney, and fun night Down Under.
Ok, but back to Drag Race. Does anyone else smell production? Henny, this is a softball for Rose and Symone. Is it just me or is Kandy narrating this entire episode? Is Symone too attached to looking good? Also, Scarlett Johansons’ biggest role is not Black Widow, right? Can I get a gay man? Who did it better? Scarlett or Ann Hathaway. Thank you, GottMik: Trans people are more than Barbie and Ken. But, Mama Ru! Why???? What in the arts and crafts is going on with that dress. Eu de Pocket: Stank!! Also, this mini-movie… was very, VERY, long. Finally, Olivia VS. Kandy. We all saw this coming. Seriously! xoxo ~ The Huntys
This week, we are joined by our favorite Down Under Party favor Bree Vin-Ammyl
Get into this kiki about RuPaul's Drag Race Season 14:"Henny, I Shrunk The Drag Queens!"
About our guest:
Bree is an Aussie queen Based just outside of Sydney NSW. She has been doing drag professionally for 10 years and worked in all of Sydney’s iconic bars including stonewall hotel, midnight shift, and the imperial hotel ( of Priscilla fame), and worked alongside some of down unders most iconic queens! Including Carlotta, Maxi shield, Tora Hymen. Not to mention playing hostess to a number of the Ru girls while they toured down under. Lately, she hosts regular trivia “the big fact hunt” and bingo nights in the Wollongong and greater Sydney region every week. When she’s not entertaining she can be found stylings wigs for local theatre and queens from all over or behind the sewing machine whipping up a frock for her next gig!

The hands behind Sister Sister’s blue-lipped promo look and 1/2 of the infamous Chips-Gate drama are in the house! Also, could someone explain Utica’s delusions? How is this the first actually entertaining mini-challenge??????? Also, Norvina - stunning! Can someone please explain why this lineup literally helps EVERYONE? Could the judges have made this challenge any easier? Is Symone too green for this season? Does any feel like Utica warned us this would happen? WAIT! We get legs AND another vintage RuPaul look! DAMN! Also, this roast. Welcome to the competition Kandy! Also, can we get a gay-man for this park-and-bark-lip-sync realness. Also, hosting live events is so critical. How are queens not doing this before getting on the show? Either way, Utica we still love you. She already apologized, y’all, so no canceling. Seriously! xoxo ~ The Huntys

New Segment alert: Drag Race Memories! Does any remember the live Season 5 finale? The Pit Crew can speak? Wow! Maybe this is not the talent they should be showcasing? Branding challenge: Tina Burner, ummmmm, Utica is worrying, Gottmik is confused. Kandy got GAY BASHED! Omg! RuPaul on the Runway! Thank you, mama! Let these young queens know and feel free to bring your legs back next week. Double save? Double win????????? Did Symone really need this win? Also, the lip sync results: Shenanigans! Also, can a friend sit Utica down to help her edit? xoxo ~ The Huntys

A light lunch? A tic/tac lunch? Are they never doing What’s the Tee again? Who won the interview portion? A Little Bit of Love is the most ironic song to ever end a series, right?! Why was the Final Challenge so off? Also, choereo-NOOOOOO! Also this final lipsync, poor Ellie and Tayce! WHAT IS WITH THIS KNEE DROP????????????? Honestly? Alright, we have a winner, but why the Backlash!!!!!!! Rude! Congrats to Lawrence (spoiler alert) and congrats to all the queens on a job well done! xoxo ~ The Huntys

Alright, y'all, it’s hard to talk about race, but sometimes you have just to. Utica and Symone's journey over the episode reminds us that we still have a lot of work to do when it comes to educating people about people cultural appropriation? When do good intentions become Karen-level woke behavior? We do our best to try to address a complex problem.
Luckily, we are still joined by the hilarious Chris Chianesi and the sassy and brassy Barbara Busch Light. Such dolls!
We also discuss: Ok, hold the phone! Elliot lipsynced 4 times???? I need to see the receipts! Who is Char Margolis? I still don't know her. Denali and Rose's sexual tension. WE ALL SAW IT. Also, DANGER - we are getting a sad Kandy moment. Is she going home? Speaking of which, who should go home? Apparently, Olivia. Also, Denali. Wow. Just wow.
And, of course, RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13: Freaky Friday Queens.
About our guests
Chris Chianesi is an actor, singer, composer, writer, and musical comedian, based in New York City. His monthly musical comedy show, THE FEED with @SeriouslyChris, ran for over a year in New York City, before Covid shut the world down. Since then, he's kept busy writing and producing weekly music videos inspired by moments from pop culture and politics. Most notably, he produced the music video series RHONY Spectacular, where he wrote at least one song for every episode of Season 12 of Real Housewives of New York City and performed them all as his drag alter ego/Real Housewives wannabe, Elizabeth Ceighks (#RHONYSpectacular).
Barbara Busch Light is one of the fiercest queens this side of the Quad Cities, Henny! Hailing from Davenport, IA, Barbara is a professionally trained makeup artist and wig stylist who has been doing drag for 3 ½ years! While she’s young, she leaves all her gigs gagged and with that coin in her purse. Outside of drag, she’s quite the gaymer. And, by day, she fends off countless men-zizes while working as a painter on a construction crew! Check out Barbara Busch Light on Facebook or Instagram to keep up with all of her show dates and who knows, she may be in your area soon!!

What a snooze fest? Would you believe that was a semi-final episode? Oh well. At least you have the Huntys to make it actually sound interesting. :) This week, we are joined by the hilarious Chris Chianesi and the sassy and brassy Barbara Busch Light. It is a non-stop shady romp. So buckle up as we dive into Drag Race and Real Housewives parallels, The Quad Cities drag scene, Covid-Infested Wigs, and the UK Drop-On-Your-Knees Drop!
We also discuss: Did RuPaul get hit in the head? The Puppet-challenge. How was the Lawrence and Ellie apology for you? Squashed? How funny is it that soap opera stars in English can be so average-looking? Our feelings while watching Beastender: TAYCE! Welcome to the party! Our feelings while with the judges watch Tayce: What are the judges smoking???? This lipsync/Double Shantay? Someone, please explain.
And, of course, RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 2: BeastEnders.

Hiiiiiiiiiiii! And, we're back! This week, we catch up with long-time friend of the pod The.Kamelon for in-depth US coverage.
Stop everything! What is this Flamingo-home outfit? Is the Winner’s Circle really over? OK, Winning a mini-challenge means your pussy is not on fire. Poor Tina! Is she in danger? Why can’t Utica wear a fro? Why does no one know Mary Queen of Scots? Snatch Game goes a couple of ways: delusional, confused, competent, FIERCE. The callback to Silky's dry TS Madison wig. Yikes! What in the Rue Mcclanahan was going on. Michelle needs a raise. Untucked: They are just THROWING UTICA UNDER THE BUS. Ouch!
And, of course, RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13 Episode 9: "Snatch Game"

Hiiiiiiiiiiii! And, we're back! This week, we catch up with long-time friends of the pod The.Kamelon and Noalh Millman. COVID-19 in Holland is just wild, mama Ru is working overtime with US, UK, and Down Under literally crowing as we recorded the episode. We are full of questions, comments, and concerns - not a joke, just fact! Has Art Simone already won? Why isn’t Karen from Finance a judge? Is Courtney Act banned from Drag Race? Is Courtney Act still a singer? Shaving Brows? Macho Drag Mini Challenge? Oh hey, Tayce! Ellie wins a mini? Really? We call production shade! This just happened to Sister Sister. Dirty-Diamond-Order Gate Who has the higher ground? Bullying Lawrence Chaney off of Twitter! What on earth was Dirty Diamond anyway? Will Tayce find love in a hopeless place? Also, young queer trigger warning. :( I want everyone to find love show! Right? This hit too close to home. Can you imagine catching an STD from your first time?
And, of course, RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 2 Episode 8: "Stoned on the Runway"

We are back, Huntys. Now, we know Mama Ru pulled a bait and switch this week by releasing previews without an episode, but this COVID-19 special had us SHOOKETH!
Friends of the pod Jonathan Valdez of Orange Juice and Biscuits and comedian Griffin Leeds are still back in the house serving cultural comedy and commentary for your pleasure.
We also discuss: This episode is TriggeringGet it right: Kahmora Hall is not Chinese. Mona Foot’s death on gay social media. Everyone caught COVID. Digital Drag. George Floyd. Rosé and her boy-toy! Kamora’s family didn’t talk to her when came out! What? She has been robbed of so much love. We forgot Elliott was still on the show. :( All these COVID-19 Precautions. What happened to the Pit Crew?

Nick is back and Mijon could not be happier. To keep the reunion going we are bringing back some of our favs! Friends of the pod comedian Griffin Leeds and Jonathan Valdez of Orange Juice and Biscuits are back in the Hunty House!
We also discuss: The inaugural Hole Story Recap has been coined. Are the United Kingdolls the defect top 4? What in the UK is this reading challenge? Did Ellie tickle your funny bone? Ellie Zirconia was poetry though. While we see Ru get mad in the UK, have people completely forgot Season 1? We spill the tea on Fracking Rights in Wyoming. Do tears of Drag Queens power Drag Race? What is it going to take for Ellie Diamond to breakthrough? Did they bring her on the show too soon? Also, thank Raven for gracing this episode with HIGH DRAG! What would it be like to have a “practicing drag queen” on the panel?
And, of course, RuPaul's Drag Race Season 2 Episode 7 Lockdown Supersheroes

And we're back! Mijon is still flying solo with queer academia, but Nick will be back next week. We are going back to school with professors from Oberlin and Tufts University who have literally been teaching the children about queer nightlife! Greggor Mattson and Kareem Khubchandani/ LaWhore Vagistan are absolute dears who help us deep-dive into RuPaul's Drag Race US Season 13 Episode 8 Social Media: The Unverified Rusical.
We discuss: Did anyone actually understand Kandy’s Bald Head Brigade comment? Boiler Brigade - What is that? Tina burner messing Rosé’s head was everything. Denali is not a singer. Why on earth would she challenge Rosé to a sing-off. Anne Hathaway is bringing in so much positivity. Can she come on every season? Also, was anyone surprised when Utica had trouble rapping. Olivia went to theatre camp - no one is surprised. Tina Burner and Graham Norton! Who knew? Taxi-gate - who wore it better. Rose is wearing ORANGE. Symone head was in the wrong place. She cannot sing. So don’t try! Can we get a double save?

Hey ya’ll. This week is a little bit of a curveball, so Mijon is flying solo with queer academia! Yes, we repeat, we are going back to school with professors from Oberlin and Tufts University who have literally been teaching the children about queer nightlife! Greggor Mattson and Kareem Khubchandani/ LaWhore Vagistan are absolute dears who help us deep-dive into RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 2 Episode 6 Snatch Game.
We discuss: Why no one gives Tia Kofi credit for being a lip-sync assassin! Lawrence Chaney has 3 badges so it is time for lip sync. Can a drag queen REALLY elevate themself while filming on the show? Ellie Diamond has a twin and she is crying - a lot. Is she going home? Miriam Margolyles - ouch! Bimini Bon-Boulash's Katie Price - YASSSSSSS! Sister Sister is a psychic - can the franchise actually take another psychic on Snatch Game. Gemma Collins who? Was she even there? What is a bell end?
About our guests
Greggor Mattson is a professor of sociology and gender, sexuality, and feminist studies at Oberlin College in Northeast Ohio where he teaches courses on cities, sexualities, and nightlife. He is finishing a book about changes in gay bars in the U.S. over the past 25 years, including ones that are more than an hour's drive from another scattered across the American interior.
Kareem Khubchandani is an assistant professor at Tufts University. He is the author of Ishtyle: Accenting Gay Indian Nightlife, and co-editor of Queer Nightlife. He is also a drag queen, performing as everyone’s favorite South Asian drag auntie, LaWhore Vagistan.

Gurl! We are back with more Zaddy because we all need a little Zaddy in our lives. We also serving you some serious Covid Wisdom: Just Do It. Finally, thank Ru, the Reading Challenge. Olivia’s evolution. Elliott letting her guard down and how we all can fight through depression.
A hairstylist since the age of 17. Zaddy tells us the tale of moving to London from Plymouth, finding drag, meeting friend-of-the-pod Cybil War - our Zaddy’s drag mom. Since moving to Canada with the hubby, Zaddy has been changing the wig game in certain parts of Canada. Thanks to some “choice” comments by Jeffrey Bower Chapman on Canada’s Drag Race, WigZaddy.com has been serving "Shake N Go" glamour all over Canada and, now, the world. Moving to Canada, allowed Zaddy to blossom. We are so proud of Zaddy for breaking barriers for bald, tattooed, bearded/mustached, small-lipped drag queens and abusing her sexuality for good business.
We also discuss:
Gay, Trans, Pug, Reading Challenge Gott Mik’s win is undisputed. DEI - Moment: What was is the skin commentary? Symone’s skin is resplendent. Rule thumb: LEAVE SKIN ALONE! Learning about Elliott’s depression has really humanized and, now, we’ll if she can rise above. We all bond over mental health journeys and reflect on how we've grown during the pandemic. OK, real talk. Olivia just needs to own that she’s a good drag queen and stop being so shy about it. Also, what in the outfit-repeat is going on with Olivia’s outfits? Was that REALLY Denali’s best drag? Really though? The voice inside Elliott’s head will and always be Kandy Muse.
And, of course, RuPaul's Drag Race Season 13 Episode 7 Bossy Rossy: The RuBoot!

We’ve been hella tense watching this American Impeachment. But, thankfully, the podcast and RuPaul keep making 2021 slightly better. Albeit, this ASOS-H&M-Joe-Black- Asstina-Mandela Gate. Has been quite a thing. Thank goodness we have WigZaddy to help us keep our tits on. Zaddy A$hlee (our new nickname) work can be seen all over Instagram but also on the heads of JuiceBoxx, Pyranka, Scarlet, Tynomi, and all of the Canadian drag scene. It appears that Cybil War's drag baby is anything but a "disappointment". So join us this week and get into the snackable trailblazing queen.
We also discuss:

Drag Performers like you to stroke your ego. Was Ginny fired? Was it rude to leave the stage? Zaddy provides an alternate take. Should Ginny force herself to stay in a place that was blatantly trying to change them? Is there too much US drag in Drag Race UK? The 7-month break during the lockdown in the UK. Ginny Lemon’s Throuple. Veronica's hot and loving fiancé. Sister Sister and Bimini’s new faces. What was up with Veronica Green? Is Veronica Green Courtney Act’s twin? The lockdown episode really brought attention to a huge problem: COVID-19 is destroying queer spaces all over the world. Sister Sister’s new accent explained. The truth about Welsh accents. ASOS-H&M-Joe-Black- Asstina-Mandela Gate. The RuRuvision shocker - the girls that cannot sing win! How Tayce cranked out a win! Zaddy explains why there is nothing wrong with ASOS and H&M on the runway. We also process RuPaul’s “choice” words on the runway. Will Veronica Green comeback next year?
And, of course, RuPaul's Drag Race UK Season 2 Episode 5 The RuRuvision Song Contest!

Ho, Ho, Ho, You Huntys!
Christmas finally came, Mama Ru is having twins, and we are so ready for a new season.
We took the week off, but we made sure to make a new episode just for you! This week, we talk to the host and the producer of Queer In Love Podcast, Diego Amado and Stephen Barker.
We discuss: Snackable podcasting. Old maids in queer love. Are long-term relationships only possible in the Mid-West? The reckoning that happened in the Chicago drag scene this summer, which addressed the inequalities of where queens - especially black drag queens - perform. Protests in Boystown / Queertown / Northhalstead. The Vixen. Black Girl Magic. Shea Coulee. What these Chicagoan queers know about the queens of Drag Race Season 13 - especially Rosé because both Nick and Stephen went to college with her!
Then, we dive back into Drag Race Season 1 Episode 4 Mac Viva-Glam Challenge.
We discuss: How Jade was robbed. Rupaul’s Drag Race Under the Hood. Is Rebecca Glasscock serious about drag? Shannel’s Ted Talk. Spoiler Alert: Bebe Zahara Benet Wins. Oops!
About our guests:
Queer in Love is a podcast that explores queer relationships from a queer lens, hosted by Diego Amado. Each episode he talks to queers to learn about how queer life and queer love thrive, but also how queer love and queer life are impacted by popular culture, spirituality, race, family, the state, all those forces that shape our experiences as queer people across the spectrum of gender and sexuality.
Stephen is a Marketing and Communications Director for a human services nonprofit organization in Chicago. He's an artist, graphic designer, writer, and podcast producer. Originally from Wichita Kansas, Stephen has called Chicago home for the past 12 years. Even though he rewatched every season of Drag Race during quarantine, Stephen can't remember any of the contestants' names or identifying characteristics because he's a dumb b*tch.
Diego has been a dancer, high school teacher, museum curator's assistant, performance artist (briefly), and now behavioral scientist, bouncing around from coast to coast to the midwest, back, and back again. He’s a doctor, but not THAT kind of doctor. He’s a researcher and a gentleman who shares two of Jujubee’s three passions (please note: he has been a vegetarian for 15 years, so you know exactly what those passions are ding.

We discuss: How gay bars have been adjusting to Covid Restrictions, How she’s getting through 2020, Why she wasn’t there when Adele and Jennifer Lawrence popped by Pieces, Fittings with costume designer Ben Mason (Zawacki), Why Thorgy Thor is making noise in the background of our interview, what she knows about the Queens for Season 13 of Rupaul’s Drag Race!
Then, we dive back into Drag Race Season 1 Episode 3 Queens of All Media.

Drag Race is doing a Mama Ru, but we are going to continue!
This week, we are diving into the holiday season with a new film written by Clea Duvall and directed by Clea Duvall and Mary Holland: The Happiest Season. It is the first lesbian holiday rom-com backed by major studio and we’re here for it. Well, sort of! There are so many stars in this film we are a little confused as who this film is about: Kristen Stewart, Victor Garner, Allison Brie, Dan Levy, Aubrey Plaza, Ana Gasteyer, etc. That and it should include many trigger warnings. Drag Race is doing a Mama Ru, but we are going to continue!
This week, we found our Irish twins. James and Cian of Sissy That Pod to talk about this year's drag race, marriage equality, and drag goddess Panti Bliss, who is the center of the 2015 documentary Queen of Ireland.
The Queen of Ireland is a 2015 Irish documentary film directed by Conor Horgan. It focuses on Rory O'Neill, better known as Panti, in the lead up to the historic referendum on marriage equality for same-sex couples in Ireland. When the film debuted in Ireland, it had the highest ever grossing opening weekend for an Irish documentary.
About our guests:
James is an LGBT Activist and Drag Race fanatic living in Dublin Ireland. He can be found ranting about the trials and tribulations of growing up gay in modern Ireland on his fortnightly podcast The Big Gay Bucket List or discussing all things drag race with a range of queens and similarly obsessed fans on his Drag Race aftershow Sissy That Pod.
Cian hosts a local Dublin LGBTQ radio show where he can combine his passion for music with topical discussions on LGBTQ news, arts and culture. Coming from an engineering background Cian brings an analytical edge to Sissy That Pod with an interest in stats and data.

Drag Race is doing a Mama Ru, but we are going to continue!
This week, we look at, the unofficial sequel to Paris Is Burning, How Do I Look? Who knew there was more to the story!?
How Do I Look began filming in the wake of accusations that the filmmaker behind Paris Is Burning had exploited members of the Ballroom community during the making of that film. The accused exploitation was the inspiration for How Do I Look, said co-assistant director Kevin Omni. In the years since How Do I Look was released, the documentary has been mentioned by many as providing balance to and/or a follow-up or sequel of Paris Is Burning.

And we have a winner! Wow! Congrats to Envy Peru (spoiler alert)You did it and we are so happy for you! This week, we are beyond honored, humbled, and gooped as we gaggle and giggle with the Lovely Lady Galore! A staple of the Amsterdam Drag scene, a leader, and innovator. She’s just inspirational. The drag mother of Miss Abby OMG and “step” drag mother of Patty Pam Pam has a lot of love and truth to share!
About our guest: This Diva isn't your regular Queen honey, she's Fierce, Legendary, and Galore!
We loved her so much she is back for more! Lady Galore a staple of Amsterdam and Dutch Drag since 2009. Lady Galore has performed all over: Shanghai, Tokyo, New York, Chicago, Sydney, Melbourne, Paris, Berlin, Belfast, Glasgow, and Stockholm, just to name a few.
After 200 solo shows, it was time to step up her game and Lady Galore invented a couple of huge concepts like “the GALORE Stage” on Europes Biggest gay festival “Milkshake Festival” and she is programming Europes biggest gay ski event “European Gay Ski Week” where she invites tons of Queens from all over the world to perform and show you the art of Drag.
Besides performing live on stage, Lady Galore acted in 2 movies and has won several awards/prizes for the documentary: Galore. Made by Dyzlo film. A film about her career, traveling the world, an extraordinary lifestyle, and winning everyone's heart. In 2019 she hosted “The Diva In Mij”, the first-ever Dutch TV-show presented by Drag Queens together with Envy Peru and Hoax Le Beau.
Looking ahead, in 2021, she will release her first book about her life and the dutch Drag scene.
Last but not least, Lady Galore has been honored to be an Amsterdam Gay Pride Ambassador and has been organizing the Gay Pride Boat with Drag Queens United yearly since 2012.
“Let’s make more GLAMOUR!”
Questions and Issues Addressed:
The election. Phew! Thank god that is over. Current conditions on the ground in Holland. The drama of the last episode. Janey’s drag-excellence! Abby’s well deserved inclusion to the top 4. Why death threats are not and have NEVER been ok! Additional intel regarding the Split-Personalities.

Dear Huntys!
While we have no idea how the election will turn out, we are delivering you our weekly episode so that you have a pleasant distraction while you wait for results. Again this week, we are gagged for questionable reasons and we go in deep! Thankfully, we have GJ Kooijman and Nutella Versace to help spill all the tea from behind the scenes!
About our guests!
Nutella is a delicious bitch! Italian-Dutch society lady that travels all over the world. Nobody knows exactly how she arrived to stardom, vicious rumors say she started out acting in Italian porn movies during the 90’s but no evidence is found. She is the ambassador of Amsterdam Gay Men’s Chorus. She loves to give back to the community by hosting fundraisers or just plain bingo. Since Miss Corona, Nutella started her own youtube channel reviewing Drag Race Holland where she posts The Drive Thru Review!
GJ Kooijman is part of DJ-duo The Heartbreaks, an event producer and one of the hosts of Pruikentijd (Wigtime), the Dutch Drag Race Podcast. They correctly predicted the cast and host before the show even started taping and have had exclusive exit interviews with each queen! Literally, this is the Dutch What’s the Tea!
As a host for OUTtv Europe, he's worked with over 30 Ru Girls over the last few years and he's also been to the Drag Race Season 10 finale, where he witnessed the butterfly incident live! Next to that, GJ is the creative producer for True Colors (the largest LBGT fundraiser in the Netherlands) and a producer for Pride Amsterdam.
Questions and Issues Addressed
The wig-o-try of last week. The Buttery Finale and Asia O”hara. Wigtime the definitive Dutch Drag Race podcast. What Drag Queens think about being on the show. What was up with the puppet’s skin tones? What really happened during the fit between Sederginne and Abby! Why the lip syncs have been so tough. Why were there no sewing challenges. The Top 4? Should there be a top 4? A top 2? Who should win? Envy Peru’s acting chops!

It has been another insane week at Drag Holland. Thankfully, we have made two more Dutch Friends Amy Astoria and Victoria Vyper to help make sense of it all!
About our Guests:
Amy Astoria and Victoria Vyper are Dutch drag queens living in the city of Utrecht. They are a couple in 'real' life, have dated for 5 years, and they are also sisters in drag. Since then, they have evolved their drag and are now well known queens in the Dutch scene. Their main goal is to entertain the crowd, but also to contribute to the societal debate with regard to LGBTQ+ issues is important for them.
A year ago, Amy and Victoria started AbsolutelyDrag, an entertainment concept also aiming to give opportunities to new drag queens and kings. Amy and Victoria do not only envision their looks, but also create the outfits from scratch. Sometimes it feels like an additional full-time job: Amy is a certified auditor at the largest warehouse in the country and Victoria is a researcher and program manager at a university.
Questions and Issues Addressed:
Parking and Barking vs Dancing Divas. Whether anyone is ever sad to see anyone go on reality competitions. What on earth is De Bachelorette and why was that man on the show? Not all Bachelors franchizes are created equal, honey.
Ryanne is way better IRL. Where have the intimate chats been on the show? Dads on RPDR. Parells between the US and Holland. The subtitles not making sense. Why the makeover challenge is a set up? Chelsea Boy’s guest.
Why are we being deprived of the pit crew? Sederginne’s well deserved booty call! The need for crafty queens. A moment of silence for Chelsea’s boys wig.
This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
Don’t you worry, Huntys. We are definitely going in on the Sederginne gag and the Non-binary moments on the runway this week. Literally, the shock and awe has barely faded. Thankfully, we have the pod, you, and our guests Tim Murray and Lolo Benizna to help us process.
About our guests:
Tim Murray is a Stand-Up comedian who has performed all over the world. His podcast, Slumber Party can be found wherever you get your podcasts or on his YouTube Channel: @TMurray06 where he interviews famous drag queens, Broadway stars and has over 1 million views on his sketch comedy videos.
Questions and Issues Addressed:
Rage tweeting after watching the episode. Superball, Europe's biggest Drag Ball. The creation of Drag Houses in Holland. Filming Drag Race during a heat wave. Lolo Beniza’s quest to week masc for mascara. What happens when you mess with a drag queen? Who are all these Dutch people mentioned on the episode? Miss Brard’s moment with Robbie Williams. Body Positivity in the queer community. Sexualizing drag queens! Janey Jacké’s empowering story. Douching on Drag Race. The Non-binary Tipping Point.

Derek is an actor, writer, and accomplished vers-bottom who splits his time between Amsterdam and London, especially when there is a pandemic. He and his writing partner in London produce absurd narrative character sketches and their show Bareback will next be performed in London at the Cavendish Arms on November 22nd, 2020. Check him out soon in his and Noah’s forthcoming podcast Unprofessional Help, the podcast where they tackle their mental health wrong so you can get yours right)!
The Kameleon - recently featured on Holland’s Got Talent - is the first and only drag clown in Amsterdam and the scene has been shook ever since. Known for her fierce lipsyncs and often crazy looks, she will serve you all the fish you need. Clownfish, to be exact!
Noah is a Vancouver-born, Amsterdam-based events coordinator and drag producer. His first production experience was in Vancouver’s rave scene of the late 90s. After relocating to Amsterdam for a master’s degree in 2007, he became involved in production and promotion at Boom Chicago, the Amsterdam outpost of the American improv comedy world. Since 2017 Noah’s been involved in the production of drag shows and events in Amsterdam and in the UK. In 2019-2020, he launched Amsterdam’s first drag brunch, called Bacon & Leggs.
Questions and Issues Addressed:
National Coming Out Day! COVID-19 in Amsterdam :( Wave-gate! Craft Services! Donald Duck is a Them in Holland?! Amber Vineyard’s Them status. Is Diva Mayday the Dutch Rupaul? What happened in that vogue challenge? Claws on the runway. The triple lip sync. Why?

Providing a platform to showcase artistry without fear of being judged.

We are beyond honored, humbled, and gooped as we gaggle and giggle with the Lovely Lady Galore! A staple of the Amsterdam Drag scene, a leader, and innovator. She’s just inspirational. The drag mother of Miss Abby OMG and “step” drag mother of Patty Pam Pam has lot of love and truth to share!
About our guest: This Diva isn't your regular Queen honey, she's Fierce, Legendary and Galore!
Please meet the glamourous Lady Galore, hailing from Amsterdam and created in 2009. After only 2 years of performing in the Netherlands, she has been strutting her stuff on an international level. Lady Galore has been performing in Shanghai, Tokyo, New York, Chicago, Sydney, Melbourne, Paris, Berlin, Belfast, Glasgow and Stockholm, just to name a few.
Besides performing live on stage, Lady Galore acted in 2 movies and has won several awards / prizes for the documentary: Galore. Made by Dyzlo film. A film about her career, traveling the world, extraordinary lifestyle and winning everyone's heart. In 2019 she hosted “The Diva In Mij”, the first ever Dutch TV-show presented by Drag Queens together with Envy Peru and Hoax Le Beau. In 2021 she will release her first book about her life and the dutch Drag scene.
Last but not least, Lady Galore has been honoured to be an Amsterdam Gay Pride Ambassador and has been organizing the Gay Pride Boat with Drag Queens United yearly since 2012.
“Let’s make more GLAMOUR!”
Questions and Issues Addressed:
Dutch drag scene and how it has changed I’ve the years. Drag Race watch parties. Miss Abby OMG and Patty Pam Pam as drag babies. Scarlet Bobo’s trips to Europe. Creating a drag incubator. Drag Queens working together. Gay Pride in Amsterdam happens on boats! Why did Lady Galore said no to Drag Race? Splits and lip syncing? Can it be too much? How do the queens respect the judges when there are no Drag Queens on the panel? What did Roem Say when she left? What is up with the translation? Janey Jacké’s “stage presence”. Plastic surgery and queens. Diversity in the show and the drag scene in Holland. What on earth was the actual Maxi-Challenge? Which drag queens had major funds fo their outfits. Who actually won the Patty VS Madness lip sync?

We’re back for season 2 of Whispering Huntys!
Questions and Issues Addressed:
What’s with the diet version of Meet the Queens? Our feelings about dubbing. The Netflix foreign film conspiracy. Is the Category Dutch Royalty? Who is Fred Van de Leer? Who are hotter Dutch drag queens or Dutch queens out of drag? Nick’s new favorite drag queen, Chealsea Boy. What is a Flemish Queen?
Then, get your fans and tissues ready (no, really, we are crying on the podcast) Nick watched the Legendary Paris is Burning for the FIRST time. WE KNOW - as Upcoming Legendary Children this is required Drag Stan viewing. But now that this wrong was righted, Gurrrllllll, it is still transcendent. Though, we found our dark things about the aftermath and definitely shed some light on that. Everyone please also watch HOW DO I LOOK? We went to drag school to prepare for Holland. Realness, shade, Crystal Labeijia, Passing, Voguing, Categories, etc.
Also, could we get a Billy Porter MC/announcer level realness added to Drag Race? Also, POSE is Paris Is Burning. Really though.

This week, Nick and Mijon are joined by Mijon’s work bestie.
Brooke Yen is a bi-racial femme fatale who self-proclaims as musically genre fluid (she likes anything from the Shrek Soundtrack to Duke Ellington), consumer and fan of pop culture and lover of any food that’s doughy and vegetarian. When she’s not tending bar, she is active in the NY music scene moonlighting as a DJ and co-host of internet radio show YUM CHA - @yumchanyc on IG account. She is a Pisces, Sag rising and has Scorpio in her twelfth house which attracts her to the witchy and unexplained things. Brooke wishes that there was a cross-over with ‘Charmed’ and ‘The Craft’ so she could witness a potential power dynamic between Alyssa Milano and Neve Campbell.
We discuss the Charmed Ones’ personalities and their powers as well as dating etiquette. When does romance become creepy? Also, is it ever ok for your boss to take your sibling on a date? We don’t think so.
