The phrase money is no object did not exist in my family. Money never came easy and neither did life.
Being one of eight children with two parents makes a family of 10 and a family of 10 on one income does not allow for a lot of expenditures aside from food and shelter, but occasionally I was surprised!
Life growing up being the youngest of eight was full of surprises, never dull, always unexpected, a lot of trials, but lots of laughs. At times I didn’t want anyone to know I was there. To be invisible would have been life changing at times.
