Stop The Panic Over Coronavirus

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. The world is in an all-consuming panic over Coronavirus. Some entire countries have shut down, and states have shut down churches, restaurants, schools, and businesses. But the facts are these: the vast majority of those who get the virus recover, and for most it’s like a mild cold. Unless you’re over 70 and have an underlying health issue, you’ve got almost nothing to worry about. Less than 100 people have died of the virus this year in the U.S., but last year 80,000 Americans died from the ordinary, seasonal flu. The Bible tells us to respond with faith, not fear, and faith is the calm but resolute refusal to panic. Let’s be sensible, wash our hands, and stay home if we’re sick. Let’s show the world how God’s men and women respond to a crisis. Let’s keep our heads while everyone around us is losing theirs.
