Episode 11 features an interview with our very own Glasshead Lee O’Brien. Lee hails from Liverpool, is a lifelong Red and is ex-British Taekwondo champion. Lee discusses many martial arts and he hates any form of bullying and is involved with RAID - RAPID AND IMMEDIATE DESTRUCTION Street self-defence classes held at the LIMMA Centre at the top of Wavertree High Street before The Picton Clock on Mondays, Wednesdays and soon Fridays from 6pm-7pm.
Lee is also promoting a live event at Jimmy's on Bold Street in Liverpool on Sunday 1st August at 7PM until 10PM. The event features three comedians: Ben Lund, Barrie Heap and Keith Carter. It also features our friend Gerry Potter with some of his unique poetry, plus music in the form of Keighley Kerr, Junior Thompson, Jamie Broad and the headliner Satin Beige. Mike Steed is a multi-instrumentalist, playing keyboards and bass, and has played and toured with many top bands and artists over the past forty years or so. These include Russ Ballard and Argent, The Marmalade, Flesh For Lulu, Love Affair, The Rubettes, Desmond Dekker and The Pacemakers. The Pacemakers are touring later this year along with some other top sixties acts. He is a lifelong Chelsea fan and a true gent. He has some fantastic stories to share about touring with the likes of John Lydon form his PIL days and many others. It's a great listen!!

Episode 9 features an inspirational interview with Steven Robinson; a Yorkshire lad who tragically lost his right arm in a motocross accident 39 years ago last week aged only 18. Since then he has achieved far more than most two-armed people! Hear him talk about his achievements including motorbike riding, horse riding, flying and even building his own artificial limbs. He is now a motivational & inspirational speaker and three years ago he was awarded the British Empire Medal. He has recently completed his autobiography entitled – ‘No Arm In Trying’ and this is now available for pre-order on Amazon and set for publication in May. This is truly a most interesting, informative and inspirational podcast.

Episode 8 ventures back into the realms of Professional Wrestling with Sam Smitten-Downes aka Sam Babyface Pitbull. Born in Leicester but now residing in Liverpool. Fear not, we don't just talk about wrestling, Sam discusses many other aspects of his life. Sam is the other 'Dog of War' alongside previous guest Dave Faulkner. Another insightful chat about wrestling and other stuff!
Episode 7 features Gerry Potter - poet, playwright, director, actor, and both creator and destroyer of the infamous gingham diva, Chloe Poems. A favourite son of Manchester and his home town Liverpool, he trained at Everyman Youth Theatre and National Museums Liverpool lists him among the city's leading LGBTQ+ icons. His published works are included in both the poetry and philosophy collections at Harvard University, and the portrait documentary My Name is gerry Potter premiered at Homotopia in 2015. Gerry has a reputation for putting his Scouse voice on the line, and is strong on poetry and strong on the causes of poetryism.

James Parkinson hails from Barnoldswick in Lancashire and is a professional music teacher (guitar, ukulele, piano), guitarist and singer with Total Affect, music producer and he also also plays bass and keyboards. Robert H Page is from Bolton, known as Howard to his friends. He is a musician and turned his hand to writing crime fiction in 2020. He has published three crime fiction novels, all available on Amazon as paperback or kindle. Howard talked about music, his books amongst other things.
