The debate eventually leads to the role of political lyrics in popular music questioning:
If Beyonce uses sweatshop labor for her clothing brands, does she have the right to sing music encouraging people to quit their bad jobs?
Our producer and co-host Dane never saw it coming as he settled in to record a pod with Camille (who first appeared on our Britney Spears episode), Reme (from the Nerdy Pothead podcast) and co-host Liz. Then Liz outed Dane for still using a flip phone and using dating websites in 2022 instead of using smartphone dating apps and bedlam ensued.
It's January! Meaning the month where people create and fail at New Year's resolutions. Liz and Dane are joined by Reme of the Nerdy Pothead podcast. The three discuss strategies to we all can use to set and meet our goals for the new year.
On this episode Liz and Dane are joined by Camille Heron to discuss the recent emancipation of Britney Spears, celebrities facing similar hardships and how fans used social media to fight against Britney's oppression. Her father and management's alleged roles are also discussed.

Dane and Nth Digri's conversation takes us to the late 90's Black arts scenes in the three cities (Toronto Ottawa and Montreal). A time when Black poets, rappers, dancers, bands and theatre performers regularly interacted. It was the perfect environment for experimentation and creativity.
