The BLM started an investigation into the matter, and in the meantime the man was identified by the internet.
Ryan Andersen and his wife Jen were identified quickly and they were of course beset by the fury of the internet.
Ryan's business, Andersen Hitches in Idaho Falls, also suffered from a lot of bad reviews online prompted by people upset at his actions.
Ryan Andersen released a statement apologizing for his behavior and promising to adopt a Leave No Trace ethic and support the defense of public land. He also promised to pay for the damage to be repaired.

The Tour Of Utah is one of the biggest annual events in Utah. Elite cyclists from all over the world to try what's recognized as one of the worlds most beautiful- and challenging- stage races.

Ethan saw the final two stages. He picked a spot with his kids at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon for Stage 6 and at the corner of South Temple and State Street for Stage 7.
Taylor reviewed a hike she did at Park City. Armstrong trail is accessible from central Park City and is well shaded and beautiful. It's near Silver Star Cafe so you have a place to grab a snack and relax after the hike.

The trail is short and well traveled, and it takes you to a series of locations where large stones have been arranged into pieces of furniture. The view of the valley is awesome.
Ethan Millard took a trip to Smith & Morehouse reservoir. It's a small lake near the top of the Weber River. The water is cold and the view is spectacular. It really is a mountain lake.
There is camping and fishing. Wake rules are enforced so there are mostly canoes and paddleboards.

There is an area to actually touch sea life and really great exhibit on Utah lake stream habitat.
The aquarium is in Draper, with good visibility from I-15. Look for the building that has a shark fin out front.

Ethan Millard provides some new information on the famous Mirror Lake. High up in the Uinta Mountains, Mirror Lake is cold year round and amazingly beautiful.
There are established campsites that can be used for a fee. There is also a fee for day use. The lake is open to non motorized watercraft and fishing.

The fair provides health services to anyone who may need them. From dental cleanings to pelvic exams, all is offered free of charge.
In partnering with the University of Utah School of Medicine and School of Dentistry, the CARE Fair brings quality health care to the entire community.
There are a number of great services for children and families. Immunizations will be updated for children who need them, and bike helmets will be given out for free.

This is The Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City, Utah may have once been a somewhat simple pioneer outdoor museum for field trips, but now, after revamping, it holds up the test of family fun for all. Ride horses, see historical buildings, visit the barber shop, the leather-smith, woodworker and help out with the sheared wool, play with animals and so much more. Another, not so kid friendly activity, is the Leo After Dark. This is a 21+ event on the third Friday of each month at the Leonardo Museum. A weekend filled with yoga, chocolate, cheese, and art sounds pretty impressive! That's only the half of it! The yoga... at the aquarium either in the "rainforest" or in the shark exhibit. Utah is a state with a lot of geological history and because a large majority of it is public land, this means you can take home much of what you discover! Ethan Millard and his family took advantage of this opportunity and drove out southeast of Tooelle to a beautiful rock quarry full of a stone called rhyolite, more commonly referred to as, Wonderstone, in fact, the quarry is called Wonderstone Quarry. They collected a few pieces of this stone, drove back to SLC, rented a palm sander from Home depot and polished up their finds to create stunning treasures! The official market that spring has arrived is the annual pond skimming competition that is recognized across ski resorts world-wide! Utah is no stranger to this event. The 21st annual Pond Skimming Event is being held during Park City's Spring Gruv festival this April at mid-mountain. That's not the only way they celebrate spring however, Park City's Spring event lasts 19 days and it is filled with free concerts, food and beverages galore, kids activities and so much more! Bird fanatic or not, this episode is full of great activities for all! Turns out, Salt Lake City is a great place for bird lovers alike. With the valley, marsh land, the lake, and the City, birds love it here. Tracy Aviary at Liberty Park near Downtown is a great place to come see a variety of birds and watch them perform during one of their many shows. Also held at the Aviary is the Great Salt Lake Audubon Birds and Bites festival, which is a free event for all to participate in a scavenger hunt at the aviary (ice cream included). Every weekend there are at least 5 races to choose from, many of which reside in the Salt Lake City area. These races include kid's runs, 5ks, 10ks, half marathons, marathons, and adventure courses.
