In 1988, ABC Greater Houston formed the Construction and Maintenance Education Foundation (CMEF) as its educational affiliate. CMEF is a non-profit 501 (c3) solely devoted to serving the workforce development and educational needs of the industrial and commercial contractor community through craft and safety programs to management and leadership instruction. CMEF is accredited by the NCCER, and all courses are taught using the nationally standardized NCCER curriculum.
