In 2019 my husband bought me an unusual Christmas present - a year with a spiritual mentor. I had asked for it of course, as is the way with all gifts from him. It's usually perfume, a theatre trip, or a meal out, but in 2019 I had a hankering for something else. The trouble is, I didn't know what it was. I just felt that there was something missing from my life, which on paper sounded fantastic - a good marriage, healthy kids, a beautiful home, a career, etc and yet, I couldn't help but wonder, is this it?
