Sugarshaker - DJ, Producer and official ‘Booty-shaker’ picked up 2 residencies within her first 6 months of playing out and she’s not looked back. First, a regular gig for the Internationally acclaimed Koolwaters, playing at The Beduin Bar in London and also at The Fez Club in Bristol, alongside head honcho Marc Vedo and secondly, for local night Housework, dubbed ‘The best night in the South West’ by Mixmag! These residencies gave her the opportunity to play alongside some of the best DJ’s in the industry including Pete Tong, Dave Pearce, Fergie and Lottie (Radio 1) plus Tall Paul, The Trophy Twins, Oliver Lang, Kate Lawler, Rebekah, Big Al and Nathan Thompson (Kiss101FM) amongst many others!
That was 17 years ago and now, Sugarshaker has reverted back to her first love - Trance; playing regular slots for The Gallery @ MoS, one of her absolute favourite gigs.
Using the years of experience she gained playing House - Nationally and Internationally, she intends to stir some ripples and join the big boys and add some glam to the rock.
The Dream of playing the Trance she loves to the massive Trance family, is in play.

Back on the decks after having a perforated eardrum. The fire is burning bright again.
This is just an self-indulgent mix of old and relatively recent, favourite progressive house tracks.
Having played a variety of house genres and now also Trance, over the past 19 years, it has become apparent that I have always veered towards the more progressive edge, with a staple selection of progressive house and progressive Trance tracks, embedded in my sets.
I’ve always loved the craft of long, blended mixes, challenging myself to keep the tracks playing together, for as long as I can and so it becomes impossible to decipher, what sound belongs in which track!
Hands up 🙌, my mixing is a little rusty here and there; maybe 1 or 2 tracks are in the wrong place, as it doesn’t flow as smoothly as I’d like; but there will always be room for improvement. However, I do always try to aim for perfection, if that’s even a possibility; because for me, my most memorable nights out, have been when the DJ not only educated and excited me, with their music selection; but they had me (feeling slightly envious of their talent) and strenuously unwilling, to leave the dance floor throughout their entire sets; because it was just too good to miss!
Music and DJing is a passion, that goes without saying, of course. But when I go out and I have the opportunity to DJ - to share the music I love, with others, I believe I have a job to do. My job is to enhance your night, help you make good memories. And with each and every one of you having different expectations, it’s a tall order! But I love it and I’m going to keep on loving it because music and dancing, feed the soul and protects our mental health and well-being.

I rarely go to the Beatport Top 100 to listen/buy tracks but I thought I'd pick some out and stick them together (literally - there is no rhyme or reason to this mix, except they are in key)!!
Not my usual choice but good to do something different.
Another test run - I will get to do a mix that isn't a test soon - I hope. 1 dodgy mix - as always when the record button is pressed! Track listing to follow
Bit more thought went in to this one, a bit, not much!! Still not bloody perfect but I'd like to think I've improved - hit the record button though and all goes to shit lol! Track list available if wanted!
Another little attempt with the Trance. Still some dodgy mixes in there and a couple of tracks that are too hard and don't fit, but it's bouncy :)
