Recounted ways in which I had personally encountered Him, encouraging us to keep remembering how we have encountered Him.God does not have favourites (Acts 10:35, Rom 2:11) but He does have intimates. He longs for intimacy and encounters with everyone of us. Revealed in the word how God often asked his people to remember the things He had done (stones of rememberance in Joshua 4), and that God is not holding out on us,but as we remember what Hes done, and respond to his longing to meet with us we set ourselves up for more/ deeper encounters. Spoke about different ways in which He encounters us, through believers (1 John 4 13-15), in His word (John 1:1), receiving salvation (1 John 4:17), in our hearts (Heb 10:22, Ezk36:26), in response to faith and expectation (Mat 9:29, Heb 11:6). Highlighted that Jesus was focused on the healing and restoration of our hearts so that we can encounter him in a greater way here (Isaiah 61:1-2, Psalm 34:16) and that receiving this new life and restoration in our hearts we can begin to live with purpose from our hearts (Eph 2:1-5), pursuing His heart, His presence, and fellowship with Him.

Speaker: Zoe Gavars Text: Passion translation used: 1John 4:8-9 -God is love- Jesus is the manifestation of it SongOfSongs 1:2-3 - God expresses his desire here for his love that is continually being poured out to be continually be drunk in John 10:10- Jesus died for his abundant life to overflow from us John 14:21 John 15:9-16 John 17:18 2 Cor 4:10-12 Description: God is love, its who he is, and therefore is not dependent on us. He loves everyone, but not everyone receives it. Jesus express that we need to let his love continually nourish our hearts, implying he is always loving us no matter what, but there is an allowing (letting) on our part, of our our hearts in receiving his love. Although his love never stops and always gives of itself freely, any operation that is of our old nature, pride, fear, striving in our own strength ect will prevent us from receiving his love. When we receive the revelation of the love of Jesus that surrendered himself and allowed himself to be completely broken for us, only then are we able to allow ourselves to be completely broken for him, that is the breaking of our pride, and everything of 'self'. It is when we have allowed ourself to be broken in this way, allowed his love to humble us that we can receive, abide, and manifest the fullness of his life, his love, till it overflows in and through us, to the world around us. This is where revival is, where healing, restoration and transformation is, where miracles happen, where unity of one heart and mind happens, that Jesus said is what would cause the world to believe that he really was sent by the father. God is pouring out his love to us today, will we come before him and ask how have I hindered my heart from receiving your love? Is there any part of my flesh/'self'/ pride that still needs broken at the cross? Ask him to break it so that we can be filled to overflowing with the manifestation of all that he is, of his great love for us.

What does it look like to live forgiven? A former prostitute has a lesson to teach a self-righteous religious man. God is a good Father, and He has very intentional plans for each of our lives. Jeremiah 29:11 says that He knows the plans He has for us: plans to prosper us and not to harm us; plans to give us a hope and a future. Sometimes our lives look like the very opposite is happening, and we start to doubt or question whether God is still with us, but the fact of the matter is that Isaiah 55:8 says that God's thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are not our ways. We see in the life of Joseph, many seasons in his life that look like God had 'left the building' and left him on his own in the pit of despair, but in hindsight, we see that actually God was with Him all along working every single situation Joseph was walking through for His good, for the good of others, and for God's glory.

Bronwen Pilley:
When we start moving forward in the dreams and plans that God has for us, opposition seems to increase. Using examples from Ezra and Nehemiah, we take a look at the importance of continuing to move forward while recognising and standing against the schemes of the enemy.
Clark Buys: God is a speaking God. We see this throughout the bible and we see God speaking through various prophets before, during and after the biblical narrative of Ezra & Nehemiah. These prophets speak to the hearts and minds not only of Gods’ people of that day, but also into ours today.
Louise Campion: We are all part of a big story - God's Story - and whenever God asks us to build something for His Kingdom, opposition from the enemy comes to try and hinder that from happening. This is clearly seen in the book of Ezra with the rebuilding of the Temple. At the point when discouragement, opposition, fear, apathy, and wrong priorities are at their height, some very potent prophetic words are spoken to the leaders and the people to urge, exhort, encourage, and refocus the people to get back to doing what God had asked them to do. We see the power of the prophetic in action and how it has the ability to shift situations that are stuck, and transform people who are floundering, back into their purpose and destiny. In the same way that the prophetic brought change and encouragement then, the prophetic brings change and encouragement now, to us as KingsGate, while we are in a Kingdom 'building project' of our own in light of the words spoken over us at Dwell 2014. Its time to meet our responsibility.

Nick Chandler: Starting with Hebrews 11 Nick speaks about the necessity to persevere in faith with patience.
Paul Harper: Hebrews 6:12 "...imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised"
Amber Chandler: Looking at the City of Nineveh, we as the church understand our role in carrying out God's concern and compassion for all of mankind. God loves ALL people and wants to reach ALL people. What do the attitudes of Israel and Jonah teach us? It has to always be about relationship with God, each other and others, no short cuts. At the end of the day, this is a 'wake up call, this is not a drill, this is for real!'
Bronwen Pilley: The Father's heart beats for us! And when we feel His heart beat, all the 'glitter' in our life starts to look dull in comparison to simply being in His presence!
Chet Henderson: Knowing we are created for a relationship with God and how to build this relationship
Clark Buys: Genesis 1:28:If we understand the narrative of the big story of the bible, it gives us direction and understanding and meaning for our lives. We, as the Imago Dei - have a unique and significant role in the cosmic ‘play’.
Louise Campion: We often tend to summarise our corporate times with God as singing some songs, hearing a preach, having some tea & a catch up with friends. All of those things are vitally important parts of our corporate intimacy, but our times together are so much more than that! The church is described as a family, a body made of many parts, a bride for Jesus, and there's absolutely NO way that we can be any of those things on our own - we need each other whether we like it or not. Our intimacy with God rises and falls proportionately with our love for each other. We cannot love God without loving our brothers and sisters in Christ. Therefore, love is the key to our corporate intimacy with God, which by default leads to incredible Kingdom fruitfulness.
Clark Buys: Genesis 1:28:If we understand the narrative of the big story of the bible, it gives us direction and understanding and meaning for our lives. We, as the Imago Dei - have a unique and significant role in the cosmic ‘play’.
Carl Lunderstedt: There is the privilege and honour of being a mature son but this comes hand in hand with the responsibility of being a mature son. We will be looking at what Father God expects of his sons and the privilege of living this out for the benefit of a dying and cursed creation.

Louise Campion: Psalm 145:In the song 'Desert Song' by Hillsong, the bridge says "All of my life, in every season, You are still God, I have a reason to sing, I have a reason to worship." Psalm 145 reveals what some of those reasons are, and offers explanation for why it is possible to praise God in every circumstance of life we find ourselves in as well as how to do so: When our eyes are off ourselves and our problems, and firmly fixed on who God is and what He has done, and we declare what we see and know of Him to ourselves and to others, praise and worship is the natural response and overflow of our hearts.
Amber Chandler: Psalm 62:In this Psalm we are reminded that the heart of mankind is ever prone to divide it's confidence between God and man. This will never do. We must "wait only on God. He only must be our rock, our salvation and our refuge." He must be our first as well as our only resource. Thirst after God with an undivided heart, trusting in Him alone, and you will seek rest for your soul.
Bryn Oliver: Psalm 61: How do we respond when we are under threat and our life is in danger?
Ross Yarrow: AM: Psalm 84: Do we believe “how lovely is your Dwelling place”? Do we really believe 1 day in God’s courts is better than 1,000 elsewhere? If so, do our hearts cry out? If not, why? If 1 day is better than 1,000 elsewhere, how should that transform our lives and attitude to sin?Paul Harper: Romans 12:2-8: There is one body, many gifts, all are given and all are needed.
Brent Nel: PM: Psalm 143: " I may truly call this book an anatomy of all parts of the soul, for no one can feel a movement of the spirit which is not reflected in this mirror. All the sorrows, troubles, fears, doubts, hopes, pains, perplexities and stormy outbreaks by which the hearts of men are tossed have been depicted here to the very life." John Calvin

Now, it is like looking dimly into a mirror compared to the 'face-to-face' experience of His love we will have in heaven one day.
