The 9th Earl of Orkney, Political Scientist and Scottish Peer. Peter St. John was a lecturer at University College London prior to moving to the U of M, where he rose to prominence as Professor of Political Studies. Upon retirement in 1998, he succeeded to the Earldom of Orkney, as well as being named a Senior Scholar by the Province of Manitoba.
