The wonderful natural scenery are a feast to the eyes, the amazing waves in the seas are enthusing reverberations for observation for sailing, the lofty formation of ranges of mountains and hills are sources for trekking, flowers, butterflies, birds and animals are lovely creations of nature, sky scrapping buildings brightened by twinkling stars in night, meandering roads studded with lights, trees planted in straight roads of cities are marvelous attractions of amusement and everything we see around are soothing our senses. As we enter the first 10 days of this blessed month, our hearts and prayers are with those undertaking the holy pilgrimage of Hajj during these days. While many of us are unable to make the blessed journey this year, there are still many ways for us to reap the blessings of this month. The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are often referred to as the best ten days of the year. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” [Bukhari]
