It is so difficult to deal with all of these emotions and I would advise anyone struggling to seek professional help.

Devastating news tonight as dividends drop, resulting in huge drops throughout the market.
Although, longer-term the new dividend structure offers a great base to build on - confidence has been shot and it is going to take a long time for it to be restored.
As I am feeling down on this announcement, all I can do is really reflect and try and gain perspective on life.
In this episode, I do that by sharing something much worse in my own life with others.
I know people will be going through a very hard time right now and so I want to urge anyone to drop me a message @theindexclub on Twitter if you do need any emotional support.

Soccer Index has been a big advocate for the removal of IPD for some time. The core reason is that they do not align with the product's USP and that in the new, order book system they create downward pressure on prices.
At first, I was against the removal of IPD, but with some very convincing, well thought through points - I am certainly in the removal of IPD camp.

In today's Podcast I speak to FI Strategist who played a pivotal part in the recent Dividend Deadline Extension. FI Strategist has been on the platform since June and was full of useful ideas and plenty of logic on how and why this platform could improve.
Cal Lewis also joined us, later on, to further debrief the trader panel. Cal put forward a number of suggestions to FI recently.
Football Index are listening. It will take time, but we will get there eventually.
Overall, the main takeaway from the panel was that FI could improve liquidity by changing matchday deadlines, providing a function to place multiple bids with the same cash balance and increase TOTM dividends in the future (Once they add TOTM Dividends to the app).
It is good to finally see some green again after a rough few weeks, but will things really change without Football Index's intervention?

We are back to having a fairly stagnant market as Football Index have recently taken extreme measures to ease the sell off we saw last week.
Until depth of the market and an appropriate OB system is introduced that fully reflects demand in the market, we are going to have false portfolio profit figures. It may be a frustrating time in the short term, but for those in it for the longer term - success appears to be waiting around the corner.

A very reactive market currently as we see Chelsea players rise following their 4-0 victory.
The market has settled a bit today as we anticipate some huge rises throughout a gold match day. Temporary positional rises have led to a few increases and can a lack of understanding on FI actually help sometimes?
Quality young players are on the rise whilst out of form players and those who have risen massively recently due to speculation fall in price
A phenomenal price increase in Billy Gilmour after him starring in the FA Cup and earning media dividends last night had led to a knock-on effect impacting the prices of other young players who could potentially shine in this week's FA Cup games

Speculation is really driving the market at the moment and finding an edge and anticipating trends / future circumstances is becoming very profitable! I hope all listening have a fantastic weekend with many players in your portfolio flying up in price!
Many increases and decreases due to last night's Europa League games. Understanding momentum in the market can be very helpful in predicting who will increase a lot if a positive event occurs.
It can be profitable to buy players who do not appear to have a good chance of earning dividends and so are at relatively low prices, but upon further inspection have a great chance of earning dividends.
I managed to get to 50 podcasts! Just a brief update on the increases and decreases today. I also mention that some CDM’s and CB’s may actually be good value despite hitting high PB score infrequently
I loved watching the PSG Dortmund game tonight so went off on a bit of a tangent about that, but, overall young players with future positive factors such as more game time / transfer speculation are continuing to rise!
2 main things to take from today’s podcast: 1. Buy quality proven players when they’re out of favour and have dropped in price as a result 2. Consider which players new traders are considering buying

You would think today was transfer deadline day with the amount of transfer based price movements! Crazy, but, great day on the index with Sancho and Ziyech rocketing in price!
Bruno Fernandes picking up more media dividends and with no football on today, a few transfer rumours have sent a few players up in price
I got very lucky coming across Sergio Pena at 14p when looking through Eredivise WhoScored ratings and he's now up over 100% in less than 2 months. We continue to see players who are getting more game time increasing in price whilst Premium PB holds fall.
Often it can be worth buying proven players with strong future dividend potential when they are not doing so well and selling when they rise in price after a recent good performance
I go into a bit more depth on the increases and decreases today as Sancho increases further, setting the bar high for all upcoming talents

Quality, younger players are rising. Premium PB holds that having been doing so well lately are dropping. Recent performances are massively influencing trading decisions and we are likely to see drops in Non-PB league players who's transfer to a PB league does not develop.
A lot of money is going into quality, younger players at the moment - very exciting times!

A fantastic Gabriel Martinelli run and goal has led to a large increase whilst we see a few speculative transfer links send prices flying up
