In this month's episode of the Playcast, Rich (singlebanana) and Shawn (GrayGhost81) work to crack the mystery of Remedy Entertainment's newest release in their altered world universe, Control. The guys discuss their thoughts on the game's story, the combat and other forms of gameplay, the graphics, sounds, and whether or not this may be the game for you. Shawn is a self-proclaimed fan of Remedy games, and Rich is a newcomer, so you'll find out how this experience appealed and put-off both of them.
While last month's episode of the ConcertCast was a bit of a downer due to all of the show cancellations due to COVID-19. The guys spirits are uplifted as they are joined by a very special guest, Marisa Dabice of the band Mannequin P@#%y. She and her bandmates' 2019 release, "Patience," was honored as one of Pitchfork Music's 2019 Best Rock Albums of the Year. Not only is Marisa a talented musician, but an avid gamer as well. She and the guys discuss the current and future perils of 2020 for musicians and concert attendees, her newest album and what's she's working toward, and of course, her history with video games and what she's playing now. We're breaking new ground on our show with this interview and we hope that you enjoy it.

In this episode, Rich (singlebanana) and Shawn (GrayGhost81) take on two aesthetically sensual titles from Dutch developer Playdead Studios, Limbo and Inside. Both games are very similar in nature, but the guys examine their differences and break down what elements make them unique; a prominent RF Generation member also drops in to give his thoughts on the games.
Prior to their discussion of these titles, the guys are joined by a special guest and friend of the show to discuss Perfect Blue, a classic, once highly-sought after anime that was recently brought to Blu-Ray. Are these games and this anime worth adding to your library, or do a few or all of them miss the mark? Are these game too violent? This December we took some chumps to the mat during our annual Site Competition. Last month, we competed for fastest KO/TKO times and title belts in the classic Nintendo titles, Punch-Out! and Super Punch-Out!. This November we played through our first ever title on the original Game Boy. Last month's SideCast for E3 2016 was a product of our excitement over the event and our first attempt at getting together to discuss something other than our experiences with a game. Little did we know that something announced at that event would come out of the blue and have such a huge impact on three of our members. During this SideCast #2, join singlebanana, GrayGhost81, and Fleach, as they discuss the worldly, mobile gaming sensation, Pokemon GO. How have we been progressing through the game in it's first few weeks, what features do we like and which do think need improvement,and what is it that makes some of us (who previously had no love for Pokemon) fans of this AR experience? I'm sorry (not so sorry) to say that what you are about to hear is not the Illuision of Gaia playthrough podcast that you might have been anticipating. No worries though, that will be available for your listening pleasure in just a few more days. In the meantime, we hope that you enjoy this special recording that the guys and I did for E3 2016. After watching the pressers and some of the trailers surrounding this year's event, the guys and I kept going back and forth texting about games and other things that interested us about the event.
