We're back with an absolutely wild one! In 1958, at the age of 16, Leslie Arnold murdered his parents and buried them in the backyard of their family home in Omaha, Nebraska.
He was subsequently sentenced to life in prison in 1959. Nearly a decade later, he successfully escaped prison and spent the rest of his life on the run. He managed to elude capture for over four decades.
His identity was revealed in 2023 using DNA evidence.
In 1986, 20 year old, Christopher Knight's car ran out of gas in rural Maine. From there, instead of getting help, he decided to enter the nearby woods where he would stay for the next 27 years, with little to no human contact. Join us a we discuss how Christopher was able to survive in isolation for nearly three decades!
In December of 1979, the NY Jets hired a group of radio control operators to perform stunts during halftime. What started out as a seemingly innocent performance, soon turned tragic! This is one of the craziest stories to ever come out of the NFL.
On February 21, 1951, 6 year old, Luis Armando was kidnapped, while he played with his brother, in an Oakland, California park. Luis' family searched for him for decades. Unfortunately, their search lasted 73 years without any answers. That was until the year 2024. That's when a potential DNA match was found that could possibly be the answer the family has longed for. This story truly is a rollercoaster of emotions!
This week we head to Blue Ash, Ohio to take a look at a storm drain. However, this is not just any storm drain. It seems that the locals believe that this drain itself is a portal to hell! There have been rumors of all things evil taking place within Satan's Hollow! Join us as we take a examine the validity of these claims!
In November of 1985, 67yr old Dexter Stefonek was driving back from his son's home in Oregon to his home in Wisconsin. During this long journey, Dexter decided to pull off at a rest area in Montana. That ended up being a fateful mistake. Dexter's burned car was found at the Bad Route Rest Area with no sign of Dexter. Four months later, his body was discovered at a landfill 17 miles from the rest area. Since 1985, the case has remained unsolved, but perhaps, that is about to change. Join us as we discuss this unnerving case!
This week we take on the heartbreaking disappearance of 12yr old, Jared Negrete. Jared was hiking with his Boy Scout Troop on Mt. San Gorgonio, when he began to tire and, subsequently, fall behind the rest of his group. Once his group lost sight of him, he was never seen nor heard from again. The only items of Jared's to ever be found were his backpack and camera. What was found on that camera was absolutely chilling! Join us this week as we go over the various theories surrounding this tragic disappearance.
Perhaps the craziest, and most miraculous, aviation story ever. On April 28, 1988, a Boeing 737 flight suffered extensive damage after an explosive decompression in flight. This explosion lead to the fuselage tearing off mid flight, leaving passengers exposed to the elements at 24,000ft!!! From there, the story only gets crazier. We’ll be discussing some very bizarre, and rather disturbing, lost media cases. As the name suggests, ‘lost media’ is a term used to describe media that is nonexistent, missing, or unavailable to the public. Media that has either been lost or hidden. Some of these pieces of media are highly unnerving and are honestly better left unseen. That’s exactly why we’ll have Chris take a look at all of them! This week we head to a mysterious lighthouse that sits approximately 1.2 miles off the coast of Oregon. Tillamook Rock Lighthouse has seen its fair share of trouble since day one. From shipwreck to ghost ship sightings to insane storms....this place has it all! Join us this week as we examine all the bizarre happenings that surround Tillamook Rock Lighthouse.
In 1946, 8yr old, Katherine Van Alst went missing from her family’s camp site in Devil’s Den State Park. In an unlikely twist, she was found alive 6 days later…but, get this, she was found 30+ miles away and 600ft higher in elevation than from the location she had gone missing. Search and rescue crews got a lucky break when Katherine calmly emerged from a nearby cave and simply said, “here I am!” That’s just the tip of this very bizarre iceberg. All may not be as it seems in this case.
This week we head to Watertown, NY to take a walk in a park. Unfortunately, for us, this is no ordinary park. We’re headed to Watertown’s infamous Thompson Park Interdimensional Vortex. The name pretty much says it all. As the story goes, somewhere in the park, is a supernatural vortex. This vortex is said to transport those who discover it to somewhere else in the park…..or even worse, to another dimension. For these reasons, and many more, it’s known as “Watertown’s Area 51.”

In 1990, a British Airways flight, headed from the UK to Spain experienced something never seen before. As the aircraft was cruising at 23,000 feet, two of the six cockpit windows suddenly burst apart due to adverse air pressure effects. This led to captain Tim Lancaster being ripped from his seat and sucked out of the window. Luckily, his legs snagged on some of equipment, which gave crew members time to grab him and hold on for dear life.

Episode 126: The Remarkable Survival Story of Poon Lim.
This week we discuss the nearly impossible survival story of Poon Lim.
On November 23 of 1942, Lin was serving as a steward on the SS Benlomond, a British cargo ship.
Unfortunately, a German submarine torpedoed the Benlomond. This sent the vessel and it’s crew into the depths of the south Atlantic. From there, Lin’s story only gets crazier.
After two hours in the ocean, he managed to make his way onboard an eight-foot wooden raft. He’d stay on that very raft for 133 days. That was, until he was found by three fishermen off of the coast of Brazil.
This week we’re saying goodbye to the Hudson Valley and headed to Florida. More specifically, we’re headed to the St. Augustine Lighthouse. Touted as one of the most haunted lighthouses in the world, this place has seen it’s fair share of tragedies, bizarre disappearances, and of course, paranormal activity. Join us for our VERY belated Halloween Spooktacular as we examine all of the above.

We’re in week #3 of Hudson Valley Horror Month, and this week we’ll be diving into the beautiful Hudson River to search for Kipsy. Kipsy is the name given to a reputed river monster living in the depths of the Hudson River.
The Hudson is no stranger to having unusual guests. We’ve had sightings of manatees, dolphins, seals, and even a dogfish shark. Large Sturgeon also call the river home. However, all pale in comparison to the sightings of the very large unidentifiable cryptid, Kipsy.

Hudson Valley Horror Month continues when we pay a visit to Smalley’s Inn in Carmel, NY. Throughput the years, there have been a number of paranormal encounters reported to have taken place within the walls of this small Putnam County tavern. It seems to have all started when the owner found the grave of a young girl buried under a set of steps in the tavern. From there, things only intensified. Hudson Valley Horror Month II is upon us! From here through Halloween, we’ll be discussing bizarre cases that have taken place with the Hudson Valley.
Up first, the bizarre disappearance of Richard Cox. Richard was a 22yr old cadet, second-year cadet, who disappeared from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.
In January 1950, he was visited by a man whose name who called himself “George” three times over the course of a week. On the third occasion, Cox and "George" left West Point to get dinner. He was never seen, nor heard from, again. Join us as we attempt to unravel the events of that fateful evening.

Back in the 1800s, a gentleman was born with an abnormal condition. It seems Edward, was born with a face at the back of his head. According to legend, the face could whisper, laugh or cry. Mordake repeatedly begged doctors to remove it, claiming it whispered bad things to him at night. Mordake died by suicide at the age of 23.
Now the question becomes, was this true or merely an urban legend. Join us as we discuss the truly bizarre case of ole Eddie Mordrake.
This week we’re looking into the tragic story of Tilikum. Tilikum was an Orca who was captured in Iceland in 1983. He was taken from his family at only 2yrs old. From there, he was shifted around to various locations throughout North America until ultimately landing at Sea World in Orlando.
As you could imagine, Tilikum didn’t take well to his new surroundings. He was seemingly bullied by the other orcas and caged in a 20x30ft cage during non-show times. This lead to the belief that Tilikum developed psychosis. As he began to deteriorate mentally, his behavior became increasingly more unpredictable.….as to be expected.
As of 2023, there have only been four deaths resulting from captive orcas. TIlikum is responsible for three of them. This includes one poor soul, who broke into the park after hours and thought it would be a good idea to take a swim with him after hours.
Join us as we tell Tilikum’s story.
On December 7, 1927, the SS Kamloops, a Canadian lake freighter, seemingly vanished while navigating the treacherous waters of Lake Superior.
Rescue and recovery attempts were unsuccessful. It wasn’t until 50 years later, when the wreckage of the SS Kamloops was found at the bottom of Lake Superior. Just off the coast of Isle Royale, Michigan. From that point forward, things only got increasingly more unnerving.
The wreckage proved to be a time capsule. Basically frozen in time due to the cold temperatures of the lake. Amongst the findings were remnants of the cargo it was carrying, clothing, and get this, a nearly perfectly preserved corpse. Divers have reported very bizarre interactions with the corpse known as “grandpa.” Essentially making the SS Kamloops a living graveyard.
We have a really interesting one for you coming up in a few weeks. We’ll be discussing some very bizarre, and rather disturbing, lost media cases. Buckle up, folks. This case is as bizarre and creepy as it gets. This week, we take on the missing person’s case of Joanna Lopez. The unnerving thing here is that many believe this young lady never even existed at all.
On 1/14/89 as a Chicago NBC affiliate was going off air in the early morning hours after the conclusion of the national anthem, a bizarre missing person ad displayed on the screen. It was a very low quality, extremely non descriptive missing person poster of Joanna Lopez. As you can see, the picture itself offers little in way of identification of this young lady.
The screen remains as is, with this photo, no voice-over explaining the case, nothing but a phone number of the Chicago police missing children division. The image stayed on the channel for hours with nothing but the eerie sound of static in the background.
From there, it only gets weirder. Till this day, no one has been able to identify Joanna Lopez. That is, if she even existed at all.
This week we take on one of our most bizarre cases to date. Urban legend or not, something is very unsettling about this tale. It seems that in 1972, a woman arrived at Cedar Senai hospital. She was covered in blood and wearing nothing more than a white gown. That’s not even the bad part. Apparently this “woman” had a mannequin-like appearance. That’s right. Although she could move her limbs about, she had absolutely no facial movements. Once the staff got her into a hospital bed, they noticed that her face seemed to have some bizarre human-like mask covering. From there, things only got worse!!! Join us next week as we take on the legend of The Expressionless.
The week, we head to Taos, New Mexico to examine “The Hum.” What’s the hum you say? Well, it’s a name given to widespread reports of a persistent and invasive low-frequency humming, rumbling, or droning noise audible to many but not all people. Sounds harmless enough, however, it’s driving some residents nuts!! This week we examine the possible causes….perhaps, the reason is much more darker than people think!
This week we head to Pont-Saint-Esprit, France to take a look at how/why the good citizens of this town collectively went mad one summer day! It seems that on August 16, 1951, which started off like any other day, I might add, one by one the residents of this southeastern French town reported feeling ill. Shortly after that, they began having bizarre delusions. Such as the feeling of snakes covering their bodies, as well as flowers growing out of their bodies. Some went so far as to attempt suicide. Deaths were even reported!
Theories range from a bacteria ridden flour used on bread baked in the town to a bizarre CIA experiment.

How is someone shot 3 times in their locked apartment, with no evidence of an intruder, a gun, absolutely nothing.

This week we cover perhaps the most haunted painting we’ve ever come across. This painting, entitled, “The Woman of the Rain” was painting by a Ukrainian artist who said she felt as if her hand was being controlled by a dark presence the entire 5hrs it took to complete the painting. As if that wasn’t bad enough, those that have come in contact with the painting claim to have experienced the following restlessness, nightmares, the sense of being watched, and the feeling that someone is living within their home. On one particularly unnerving event, someone encountered a shadow that resembled the woman in the rain lurking about their apartment. Join us as we discuss this horrifying painting. Then we discuss the troubling painting I have within the walls of my own home. Troubling times……indeed.

However, there are many, and I mean many, confirm the existence of this town all the way into the early 1990s. Many people claim to have evidence of the town’s existence. his week we’re taking on the bizarre case of stock trader, Andrew Carlssin. In 2003, the FBI arrested Andrew on suspiciousion of insider trading. That was after he turned $800 into $350 million in a few months on the stock exchange. Apparently he invested in over 150 high risk stocks. Hitting on all of them.Upon his arrest, and subsequent interrogation, Andrew claimed that his remarkable success was due to the fact that he was indeed a time traveler from the year 2256. This obviously seems like bullshit. However, Andrew provided police with upcoming dates on world events that have yet to happen. His “predictions” happened to be spot on!!!The story only gets stranger from there. Andrew was released on $1 million dollar bail paid for from an unnamed individual. At that point Andrew simply vanished. He was never seen nor heard from again!Police searched all possible avenues on Andrew’s background. They never found any evidence of his existence prior to his 2003 arrest. For all intents and purposes, he was a ghost!!!Criminal or time traveler? We’ll find out. This week, we head to the underground tunnels of Sweden to take on one of its most infamous locomotives, The Silver Arrow. The Silver Arrow is a ghost train. The Silver Arrow has been spotted multiple times by subway employees, commuters, and paranormal activities.Worse yet, some are seen boarding the ghost train only to return days or years later, if they’re lucky.

This week we head to Nigeria to discuss one of the most incredible, and improbable, survival stories of all time. In 2013, a tugboat, with a crew of 12, capsized off the coast of Nigeria. As it sank to the bottom of the Atlantic, it landed upside down on the sea floor. It seems that that’s what saved Harrison Okene’s life. As he was able to find an small air pocket in the ship. For nearly three days, Harrison survived in the frigid waters, in complete darkness. That was until a recovery crew showed up. The remarkable footage was all caught on video. This week we travel to Yonkers, NY to take a look at the haunted John Copcutt Mansion. Copcutt, a wealthy industrialist, constructed the mansion was in 1854. After his death, the mansion was purchased by St. Casimir's Church. It was soon converted into a convent, and then later a rectory. From the onset on construction, the locals seem put off by some bizarre paranormal force. However, when the church took over, things only intensified.

This is our last week in the great state of New Jersey. This week we’re taking a look at the infamous “Pig Lady.” Legend has it that there’s a gravely disfigured woman that resides in the woods of Hillsborough Township, NJ. According to the locals, if you dare to summons her, you’ll be met by something that resembles a pig like human being aka The Pig Lady. Sounds outrageous, we knows However, we take a look into the history of this legend, and what we find out might just make you believe that the Pig Lady is indeed real.
We've finally made it to 100 episodes! For the special event we take a look back at one of our earlier episodes, "The Watcher." With the recent success of the new series by the same name, we're going to be comparing the series to the real life events!
For those not familiar with the story, here is our original synopsis: In 2014, a New Jersey family purchased their dream home. Unfortunately, it turned into the stuff of nightmares. As soon as they moved in, they began receiving bizarre letters. Letters that revealed that they were indeed being watched. Through time, the letters became more ominous. So much so that the family were forced to sell their home at a nearly $500k loss. The perpetrator still remains unknown to this day. This is a creepy one!
This week we head to Bernards Township in Somerset County, New Jersey, to discuss, what the locals refer to as, the Devil’s Tree. Legend has it that this tree is cursed and if anyone who dares to disrespect it, great tragedies will soon befall them. Sounds unbelievable, BUT…this starts to make more sense once we tell you the atrocities that took place on and near this tree.
This week we're headed to Mineral Wells, Texas to take a look at two of the most haunted locations in the state. The best part, they're right down the road from each other. We'll be discussing the legendary Baker Hotel and the infamous Haunted Hill House. Wish us luck!
Perhaps the most compelling reincarnation claim of all time. Next week, we examine the case of James Leininger. Born in 1998, James, by the age of two on, began to recall various events that he said took place in his life. Obviously, at such a young age, this would impossible……..or would it? So many of the details that James described were found to match eerily similarly with the life of James Huston Jr, an American pilot killed in WWII in 1945. From there, the story only gets crazier!
This one is absolutely insane!
In the early morning hours of June 2, 2007, Hugues de la Plaza was found dead inside of his San Francisco apartment. Stabbed to 3 times in his chest and neck. Security cameras show Hughes entering the home by himself. Even more bizarre, his door was locked and there was no trace of anyone entering/leaving his residence. Yet, neighbors claimed to have heard a scuffle taking place within the apartment. Police seem to believe this was a suicide, but Hughes family believes he was murdered. This is a case shrouded in mystery and much internet sleuthing since 2007.

Since the late 1930's, there have been a number of reports of a ghostly figure tormenting drivers along the road outside or Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois. Some encounters have stated that the female apparition will actually speak to you and request a ride to the cemetery, only to simply vanish upon arrival. There are no shortage of theories as to who and/or what Mary is! Join us this week as we take a ride with Resurrection Mary!
This story is truly unbelievable! In 1956, a guy walks into a NYC bar and makes a bet with a fellow patron. The nature of the bet resulted in Thomas Fitzpatrick stealing a plane and landing it directly in front of the same bar from which he had just been drinking at mere moments before! Not only that, he performed the same feat two years later! Buckle up for this one!!
This week we tackle one of one of the most disturbing cases in recent history. In early 2018, a teenage girl called 911 and claimed to have been held captive, along with her other 12 siblings, in their family home. She described horrific abuse that seemed almost unbelievable. Unfortunately, it was all true. The worst part was that the culprits were the children’s own parents. This is a case that you won’t soon forget.
This week we take a look at the abandoned North Brother Island in NYC. Throughout the late 1800s through early 1900s, the island was home to Riverside Hospital. A hospital used to quarantine patients with contagious diseases and other ailments. With that aside, the island saw its fair share of unfortunate events that took place along it shores. One being the deadliest maritime accident in US history. In addition, this island housed the infamous “Typhoid Mary” until her dying day. Flight 513 took off from Germany in 1954….however while flying over the Atlantic, the plane simply vanished. For 35 years, this case was closed. That was until the plane landed in Brazil in 1989. When authorities entered the plane, they discovered there were no survivors, simply skeletons of the staff and passengers. Get ready for this one!!!

Larry Bader, a salesman from Akron, left in the early morning hours of March 15, 1957 to go fishing on Lake Erie. Unfortunately, a storm hit and Larry’s boat was found the following day with no sign of Larry. Search and rescue efforts resulted in nothing. Larry was never seen again….or was he?! Fast forward four days later, a gentleman by the name of Fritz Johnson strolls into a bar in Omaha, Nebraska. He immediately made his presence known and became a huge part of the community. Johnson's popularity grew so much that he was offered a job as a radio announcer, and a TV sports director at a local tv station. It was soon noticed that Larry Bader and Fritz Johnson shared very similar characteristics. Perhaps a little too similar?! Could they be the same person? This week we take a look at the tragic disappearances of Christopher and Shane. On May 18, 1989, 2yr old, Christopher Dansby disappeared from a seemingly crowded park in Harlem. In an even more horrifying twist, a mere 3 months later on August 10, 1989, in the same Harlem park, 1yr old, Shane Walker disappeared. What draws so many to this case is the bizarre parallels these cases share. The boys lived in the same apartment complex. The disappeared at the same playground, same day of the week, at approximately the same time of day. There are some witnesses that say they saw both children playing with two same children at the time of their disappearances. Unfortunately, to this day, both cases remain unsolved.

In 1887, while staying at the Driskell Hotel with her family, 4 year old girl, Samanta Houston fell to her death down the hotel’s staircase. She broke her neck and died instantly.
Before Samantha Houston’s burial, her father contacted an artist to paint a portrait of his deceased daughter. Get this, he used Samantha’s corpse as the model!!

In March of 1998, 23yr old, Amy Lynn Bradley went missing while on a Royal Caribbean cruise. After a night out at a cruise ship club, Amy returned to her room that she shared with her family. During the 1970s energy crisis, Carmichael promoted a prototype for a low-cost fuel-efficient car via Twentieth Century Motor Car Corporation. The only problem? The prototype, unbeknownst to the investors, was propped up with 2x4s, door hinges to keep the doors in place, as well as having a detached accelerator. When authorities went to check the “factory” everything was completely gone. Ole Carmichael fled with investor money. Approximately $2/3 million dollars. Ken Rex McElroy was best known for being the town bully of Skidmore, Missouri. Throughout the years, Ken was accused of arson, assault, animal cruelty, statutory rape, and burglary, amongst others crimes. The problem was that McElroy intimidated the citizens of Skidmore so much that they often refused to follow through as witnesses for the prosecution due to the wrath of retribution they might face from ole Ken! However, that all changed on the morning of July 10, 1981. That’s when the townspeople took matters into their own hands….or did they?! It seems that on that fateful morning McElroy was shot in the head at close range with upwards of 60 eyewitnesses nearby. Yet no one saw a thing! Was this an act vigilantism or a simple accident?!! Ep 66: “The Woman in Black” of Rhinebeck, NY. We have a new, albeit short, episode coming tomorrow night! Hudson Valley Horror Month rolls on with a twisted tale from the late 19th Century. It seems that in 1893, a very tall, thin, and cryptic looking woman was seen wandering the streets of Rhinebeck from dusk to dawn. Although she never spoke a word to anyone she encountered, she evoked fear in the entire village. One would say this is obviously folklore, but is it? Many trusted business owners, teachers, and constables of Rhinebeck confirmed having seen this dark figure. The word was spread through local media outlets. The NY Herald ran a story about the woman and her freakish behaviors. The identity of the woman in black remains unsolved to this very day.

Episode 49: The death of Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon. In April of 2014, two Dutch women, Kris Kremers and Lisanne Froon left for a roughly month stay in Panama. They were there to teach at one of the local schools. During their stay, they took a hike on a Panamanian jungle trail, and never returned. Their bodies were found a few months later. There were very little clues as to what happened. However, their camera was found with over 100 pics taken a week after their disappearance. Tragic accident or something more sinister?

Episode 48: Eilean Mor Lighthouse disappearances. In December of 1900, 3 lighthouse keepers vanished off of Eilean Mor island, part of the Flannan Ilses. Their log book revealed that they were in the midst of a horrible storm. The insane thing here was that there was no storm reported in the area during this time frame. What really happened? Rendered homeless for nearly a month, and eventually put into an orphanage....he was later adopted by a family from Tasmania. Using just a few vivid memories he had as a 5yr old, Saroo, used Google Earth to navigate his way back home 25yrs later. This is one you’re not going to want to miss.

Blair Adams was a 31yr old Canadian resident who was found dead in the parking lot of a Knoxville, Tennessee hotel on July 11, 1996. Scattered around his body was nearly $4,000 worth of mixed Canadian, American, and German currency. His death was later discovered to be caused by a blow to the stomach. As if that wasn't bizarre enough, it was reported that Blair had no known family, friends, or even acquaintances in the Knoxville area. So what the hell was he doing there? This is a weird one!!

In 1988, 25yr old medical student, Philip Fraser, was headed from Alaska to Washington state by way of the glorious routes o’ the great white north. He had pulled over at some point. It was then that he encountered a hitchhiker. This random encounter changed the course of Philip's life. Philip’s body was found 6 weeks later. The perpetrator was later seen taking on Philip’s identity. Sadly, this case is still unsolved.

I’m flying solo on this week’s episode as Chris enjoys himself on vacation! This is one of the most insane missing person cases of all time. 27 yr old, Brian Shaffer walked into a bar and never left. The crazy thing here is that the place was filled with surveillance cameras. As a matter of fact, the city of Columbus, Ohio (where our mystery takes place) has more combined surveillance cameras than the three largest cities in Ohio all together. Yet, not one of them captured him on CCTV cameras! He was shown entering, hanging out with friends, but never leaving. Where could he have gone? On November 29th, 1970, a man, hiking with his two young daughters, came across the charred remains of woman.
